Top/Base Coats -Orly - Bonder Rubberized Basecoat

This is hands down the best base coat I have used..... ever. I have been through my share of base and top coats trying to find the perfect match. For me the match is Orly Rubber Bonder as the base, and Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat. This pairing makes my manicure last longer than ever before. I notice minimal tip wear, and minor chiping into the 4th day. That is a miracle for me as chiping usually happens by day two for me (I'm rough on my hands and nails) Even though there were chips, they were very small and hardly noticeable when compared to using other base coats like China Glaze, OPI and Zoya. Application is a breeze, and also leaves my nails super strong. My nails are prone to breakage (probably due to over exposure of Acetone Nail Polish remover) but since using this, my manicure lasts longer, which means I use acetone less, and my nails are very thankful. I don't see this being discontinued anytime soon due to its popularity, so as long as they keep making, I'll keep buying.

Polishes -OPI - Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous

This shade is stunning!!! This is a deep smokey gun metal grey with green glitter, such a unique combo. Application was smooth, and 2 coats is opaque. I haven't used OPI in ages and I was impressed. I've been using China Glaze and I think I may switch back to OPI. I love the formula and the brush. I knew this nail colour was a winner when my bf commented on it. He rarely ever notices or comments on my manicure as it changes so frequently, but he loved the colour. This is going to be perfect for a night out or the numerous Christmas parties I have to attend this season. Just beautiful!!!!!

Don't waste your money. Luckily I got this in my birthday package as a Beauty Insider member. The brush is a decent size, and the black colour is very dark but the formula is horrible. Adds zero volume, clumps like crazy and flakes hours later. I gave this to my sister in law as she knows nothing about makeup and what know the difference between good and bad mascara.

Cleansers -Bioderma - Sebium H2O

This is my HG cleanser!! Love this stuff, it has saved my skin! I was loyal to Spectro for years and never even heard of Bioderma till randomly seeing a review on the homepage of MUA. I am soooooo glad I started using this stuff. My skin looks and feels amazinggggg! The overall texture is smoother and less oily. It got rid of all acne and bumps, and I rarely have a pimple anymore. If I do, they appear smaller and disappear in half the time and with no scarring. Mores are tighter and smaller too!! :) my skin did purge, but not as bad as I thought would happen. Since using this stuff I am done to using BP lotion 3 days a week instead of 7. This stuff truly does what it says. So refreshing to find something that actually works and doesn't make my skin worse.

This is HG material for sure. I'm almost finished my 1st bottle, the largest size one and its lasted me about 18 months, and that is with 2-3 polish changes a week (yea, I'm addicted ok!!?!) Acetone does the trick! In my opinion, acetone is the safest choice. You could use non-acetone to remove polish but it still contains chemicals and you have to expose your nails to it more so than acetone. Acetone is no nonsense and removes everything the first time around. I love that this remover comes in various sizes, is super cheap, and doesn't smell as bad as Sally Hansen removers. Love this stuff, total staple and won't do my nails without it!!

One word to sum up Ming Blue..... GORGEOUS!!!!!! My bff knows me so well and got me this for my bday. I love it!! Beautiful dark indigo glittery blue! Long lasting wear as long as its paired with bc and tc. A colour every nail polish lover needs in her collection! In response to the below post, make sure your using polish remover with Acetone. Acetone yes is a strong chemical but it removes it the first time around instead or exposing your nails to non-acetone removers multiple times. I use the Beauty Secrets Acetone remover from Sally's. Its professional grade and cheap. I haven't had any issues of staining with any polishes since using this stuff.

I'm glad I got this polish on sale. I don't hate it, but it isn't true love either. The shade itself is stunning. A beautiful shimmery copper gold glitter. Under certain lights it looks beautiful, but then others just looks blah against my super fair skin. It takes three coats to truly get the bottle colour. Over several days of wear I think the colour oxidizes and changes to a stronger copper/bronze glitter which I favor better. I think this would be stunning over another polish like black or deep purple.

Overall, I hate SH polishes. I'm not impressed with the longevity as it easily chips even with base and top coat. I however LOOOOOOVEEEE the colour selection and this is what keeps me purchasing these polishes. Longevity isn't a huge issue I guess since I get bored and change my colour every 3-5 days. This colour is fabulous. It's a rich, luxurious chocolate brown and is a perfect neutral for the fall. I've been really into the Greiges, Plums and now this is a perfect brown to transition into fall. The colour has great shine, but I decided to use CHG Matte Magic, and I'm so glad I did, this colour is gorgeous as a matte!!!! I will definetly be turning to this colour more than once this fall.

I bought the 5 round pan eyeshadow palette in Bohemian Green, I think?? I am overall really impressed with this eyeshadow. The colours are gorgeous!!! I admit it doesn't last as long as my MAC but when used with UDPP it lasts 4-5 hours. Not great for all day, but perfect for an evening out. I will def. buy more, I just love the colours and price.

I have this scent in the body lotion. One word to sum up the scent...... Divine!!!!! Smells light, crisp, soft and deliciously sweet!!! The cream is also on the light side and glides onto the skin where its quickly absorbed. Love, love, love!!!!!!!

Right now, I'm on the fence with this product. A good friend of mine is a makeup artist and recommended this too me. I have small lines and prominent pores and was looking for something to soften my look. I was so excited to try this as there has been huge hype over it. What a dissapointment! It definetly works as a mattifier but that's it. I used this with my Cover FX foundation which was fine applying, but lines, spots and pores were still noticeable. I'm gonna try some different application techniques, but in my opinion this is all hype.

I HATE the Complete Salon nail polishes, but SH keeps sucking me in with beautiful colours, and the Commander in Chic is no exception. What a beautiful and stunning colour! I received compliments galore with this one. But like all other CS, this formula is horrendous!! Chips instantly, even with a strong base and top coat. I will continue to use up this bottle for the colour and nothing more. I really need to stop buying SH products. Such poor quality!

This isn't a miracle product by any means, but it does help. I used to use these all the times in my teens, and now I'm finding my pores are getting dark again. The product hasn't changed much and does a decent job. My tip is to take a hot shower or facial and allow the steam to open your pores, it definetly draws out more dirt that way. This won't rid of everything, but its definetly going to make improvements especially if you do it once or twice per week.

It may be too early to review this product, but I will update if I start seeing some results. I am only 25 but I smoked for years and noticed fine lines on my forehead that drive me crazy!!! I saw this at Walmart and it looked like exactly what I need. I was nervous to try Anti-aging products because I suffer from very sensitive, acne prone skin and am on the oily side. I found a routine that finally worked for me so I didn't want to mess things up. Surprisingly, this is very gentle on my forehead (not so much around the eye area though) within a couple days my skin looked clearer even!!! I notice a slight firmness to the area and its softer too. Its too early to tell if its working on my lines, but for those that have sensitive skin too and are afraid to try products with Retinols, this is a good one to try first to see how you react because it is more gentle. The tube is a decent size and will last FOREVER since you only need a dab on your trouble spots. Just be sure to moisturize and always wear sunscreen when using anti-aging products.
