I am not a fragrance expert, but this is the worst perfume I have ever tried. OMG I hated it. The smell after I first put it on made me sick to my stomach & as the day wore on, I got an awful headache. I should have known that I wouldn't enjoy that strong, incense smell. Some reviewers said that it was light, but for someone kind of senstive to musky smells, this stuff is overbearing! I sometimes like spicier scents like Chanel #5, so the L'Occitane SA said that I would love it. I had a couple drinks before I went shopping, so this must be the reason I didn't realize how awful it was. Kinda smells like body odor, IMO. Definitely would NEVER rec this junk!

Fragrances -La Maison de la Vanille - Vanille Noire du Mexique

I am not a fragrance expert by any means, but I love this stuff soooo much, that I had to review it. I took samples of all the La Maison de la Vanille fragrances and this seemed the most vanilla like to me. The others were either too spicey or too floral scented. This one is categorized as being a 'Soft Oriental' fragrance by Sephora. This is my everyday fragrance because it is not overbearing, but strong enough to last practically ALL day! Plus, I got several compliments while wearing this one & not the others. I am obsessed w/ vanilla scents & this by far is my absolute favorite!Definitely a HG fragrance. I use B&BW Warm Vanilla body lotion & body splash before applying this & the combo is perfectly vanilla!

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion

This is my HG body lotion & has been for a few years. I started using it when I had some of my tattoos removed because it helps to fade scars. I really notice a nice improvement in those areas. The scars are definitely less visible & I truly believe it has to do w/the cocoa butter. I absolutely LOVE the way it smells. It's like creamy chocolate. The consistency is perfect. It's not too thick & not too watery. I use it all year round. I have light skin & it really evens out & enhances my skintone. It gives me a subtle glow! LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!!!

Bronzers -Cargo - bronzer in medium - matte

I like this bronzer alot. It just brightens up & gives a bit of color to my face. It is a really neutral bronze color, meaning that it's not too orange & not too brown. It works really well on my light, NW20 skin. It doesn't look 'orangey' or fake at all. I've always shied away from bronzers in the fall & winter seasons, but this bronzer changed my mind. It's become a staple in my basic face mu routine. I also LOVE the fact that it's not shimmery. I already use TMs & blushes w/a bit of luminosity, so I don't need or want any more shimmer! I took a lippie off because I don't like the packaging. I can never get the top to stay screwed on, BUT other than that it's a great product for the gals w/lighter skintones!

Tinted Moisturizer -Shiseido - The Skincare Essential Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]

Okay, now I really think I've found my HG TM w/this! I LOVE this stuff. The shade, light, is a perfect match for my NW20 complexion. It provides a nice, light coverage. It tones down redness, undereye circles, & spots. My only concern is that it contains Mortierella Oil & I'm not sure wether this ingredient is comedogenic or not. I don't use it everyday, but I have yet to notice a breakout. If you're lookin' for a TM that provides light coverage & a dewy look, w/out looking like a grease ball, then I highly rec this stuff! Great product!!!***UPDATE*** I fear this TM could be behind some recent breakouts & the Mortierella Oil could be the culprit. Unless your skin can handle oil, I would not rec this TM.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer (Oil Free)

I've been using this moisturizer for about a week now & I'm really liking it. The consistency is perfect. It's very light & almost gel-like. It has a light, fresh scent to it. It does a pretty good job of keeping my super oily t-zone mattified. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an SPF, so I use DDF Daily Matte SPF15 over it, but I think if it did have that SPF, the product wouldn't be as lovely. I rec this to anyone w/oily, combo, sensitive, or acne-prone skin.I've noticed I haven't used as many blotting papers when I'm wearing this, which is a plus!Great product & NO breakouts!!!***UPDATE*** I spoke too soon w/the entire Shiseido Pureness line & am afraid it has caused me to breakout.I also started to realize that the products are too pricey & not enough quality. Therefore, I can't rec this moisturizer.

Fragrances -Clarins - Par Amour Toujours

I just fell in love w/the citrusy, rose scent of this perfume & had to buy a bottle. I took off two lippies because it has absolutely NO staying power & cost way too much. I would purchase it again tho because I love the scent too damn much. Hopefully I'll find something similar.

Toners -Caudalie - Beauty Elixir

My favorite part about this product & the reason I bought it was the citrus, menthol scent. I just love it & find it so refreshing. Luckily, I was able to find a good use for it. I have a 7am math class & it is just not possible for me to get up & take a shower before class. I'm lucky if I remember to brush my teeth. I've been spritzing this stuff on my face to wake me up & freshen up my skin. It really tightens my pores & wakes me up a bit. I will def. repurchase this stuff for anymore early mornings!!!

Lips -Smashbox - OverTime Lip Stain

I am not a lipstick gal at all & lip stains are a perfect product for me! I really like this lip stain & love the fact that it comes w/a clear gloss for touch-ups on one end. I purchased this in the raspberry pink tone beacause it was the closest match to my lips. This stuff stays on all day & I use the gloss for a few touch-ups after meals. The color is perfect & it's not at all overwhelming. I highly rec this product to anyone that prefers gloss to lipstick. It is a lip stain, so it may dry out the lips a tiny bit, but that's nothing a little gloss can't fix. Great product!!!

Cleansers -Shiseido - Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam

I got a sample of this cleanser, used it for about a week, then when out & purchased a full size. I really like this cleanser. I actually use the ProActiv system, but I like to have a separate cleanser for nite to remove makeup & one that doesn't exfoliate like the ProActiv cleanser. I really like the creamy consistency of this wash, more so than a regular foamy cleanser. A tiny bit of product goes a LONG way. I can really tell that it deep cleans & removes all my makeup, including eye makeup. It has a light, fresh scent to it. I don't notice it drying out my skin because I use the ProActiv toner after I wash w/this to even things out. For ref., I have normal to combo skin & am prone to clogged pores & breakouts. I rec this cleanser to anyone!!!***UPDATE***Once again, I spoke to soon w/this cleanser. The Pureness line has caused me to breakout & I was using it as a system. I also began to realize that this cleanser was VERY similar to a Neutrogena cream cleanser I used awhile back, which was ALOT cheaper! I cannot rec this cleanser.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this conditioner as much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE the matching shampoo. Leaves my hair smooth, soft, & smelling fantastic. The Warm Vanilla Sugar scent is so light & warm. Another great thing about this conditioner is that it doesn't leave my hair so conditioned that I'm unable to style it. For ref., I have fine, color treated hair. I definitely rec this one, as well as the matching Moisturizing shampoo!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new moisturizing shampoo from Bath & Body Works Signature Haircare!!! I was soooo disappointed when they did away w/their Bio line & I've been waiting for them to come out w/ a new haircare line because I was not impressed w/Fekkai. This shampoo leaves my hair so soft, I almost don't need the separate conditioner. The vanilla scent is so warm & inviting! Thumbs way up for this product.

Conditioner -Neutrogena - triple moisture deep recovery hair mask

I use this deep conditioner once a week & it does wonderful things for my hair! I have dry/damaged color treated hair & this stuff turns it soft & smooth & even helps to smooth out split ends. I leave it on for five minutes because I have fine hair & leaving it on any longer would make it impossible for me to style my hair. I rec this to anyone who has some form of damaged/dry hair & doesn't feel like shelling out a bunch of money for a deep conditioner. This stuff gets the job done!!!

Moisturizers -Shiseido - The Skincare Day Essential Moisturizer Light

I am just happy that I was able to get a sample of this w/out buying it! I tried this light moisturizer for about three days & then noticed some clogged pores that turned into cystic pimples. I know that it's the product when my skin reacts this way. The other thing I didn't like about this moisturizer was that like other reviewers mentioned, it left me SUPER greasy. For ref., I have combo skin w/an oily t-zone & normal cheeks. I would not rec this product to anyone w/oily, combo, acne prone, or sensitive skin. I can maybe see those w/ really dry skin liking this product.

Lip Gloss -C.O. Bigelow - Mentha Cinnamint Lip Shine

I LOVE the taste of this stuff! I was already satisfied w/the original Mentha Lip Shine, but this stuff is even better. I'm a smoker unfortunately, so this stuff doubles as a gloss & breath freshener. The best part, is that it is NOT sticky at all. LOVE it!!!
