Smells great and the smell lingers in my hair for hours but it underperformed. It makes my hair feel so dry and brittle. It also makes my head itch after a few hours. And worst of all, I started getting a very itchy rash on my stomach of all places. I didn't know what was causing the rash but as soon as I stopped using this, the rash just totally disappeared. Don't ask how shampoo can cause a rash there but it did happen. I think it's the fragrance that I am allergic to. My body is allergic to some products with a very strong fragrance but I took a chance with this anyways. Rash or no rash, the product is terrible anyways.

I know the color looks scary in the pan but it gives my tanned NC40-42 skin a pretty flush that looks natural. It is seriously pigmented too. I just need one swipe per cheek with a skunk brush and that is usually not the case with me. It is much more pigmented than all of the NARS I've tried and it seems to last a lot longer on me too. I never have to reapply throughout the day! With all of the codes and deals, I got it for about $15 a few weeks ago. You can not beat that..not for the quality and amount of product you are getting. It's huge and I doubt you'll ever go through the whole pan! I really recommend this for women who are around my shade...it works well for us.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

Let me just tell you that I am not a fan of palettes and I do not have any of the limited edition Urban Decay palettes but I love this. If you like shimmery neutrals, you need to get this. You get 12 full size colors, a mini primer, and two eyeliners for less than $50. That is a nice deal especially considering that these eyeshadows are very good quality. There's two or three shades that are slightly powdery but I can't really complain. I'm NC40-42 and the colors show up just fine. Just a tip for some of you, but I find that these eyeshadows work better using a different primer. I'm not a fan of the Urban Decay Primer Potion. It makes any eyeshadow hard to blend for me..and it can give my eyeshadow a snakelike looking texture for some reason.

I can't tell you why this works but it just does. It's a medium neutral brown which I normally would not ever think about buying but when applied, it just looks so natural on me. It is important to me that my brows look natural. I'm NC40-42 with thick but sparse brows. I use this by making tiny chicken marks on the sparse areas and it magically makes my brows so much more flattering. I would rebuy this..in fact, I need a backup because sometimes I can not find mine.

I am NC40-42 and I bought this for contouring my cheeks. I have put on some weight recently and needed something to slim down my round face. I didn't want anything too dark, orange toned, or shimmery so this works well. It looks pretty natural on me as well. My only beef is that it's slightly chalky which is disappointing because it isn't cheap. I am not someone who can splurge on expensive makeup very often. Secondly, I do feel that it is just a TAD too light for my skintone and I really need to prep my skin well for this to show up. Overall, it is a good product but not worth justifying the price if you ask me!

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

Great foundation but I couldn't find a nice color match which is one of my biggest problems with foundations. I am Asian and NC40-42 in MAC. Barcelona was too light and Syracuse was too dark. Syracuse was also slightly peachy on me and there's no way I am buying both to mix together. Not for that price. Don't get me wrong, this is very nice but it wasnt' "WOW" enough for me to buy two bottles to mix up. The finish is a bit matte rather than glowy if you ask me. So if your'e expecting glow, don't buy this. The coverage is medium and it's blendable. But let me warn you..if you have dry skin, make sure your skin is well moisturized and exfoliated. If you don't, this foundation can accentuate dry matches. With a primer, this lasts on me almost all day. Overall, it is a good foundation and worth trying. I don't always splurge on makeup but if there was a color match, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this. There is no pump so I docked points for packaging. Considering how much it is for a bottle, it should come with a pump!!

I was expecting a neutral to warm roselike shade because that is what you see in the tube but it's more of a cool toned, almost fuschia shade on me. It clashes with my tanned skintone and just looks garish. There is also no gloss to it at all. The only thing I like about this is that it really lasts through eating, drinking, talking, etc. A little goes a long way and this is best if you apply only a tiny dot to your lip and spread it all over..otherwise it'll ball up and look gunky.

I usually have very dry and flakey lips (I drink enough water and yes, I exfoliate) and I've had this problem for about 15 years. I don't wear lipsticks that often because they always make the problem worse or they just accentuate the horrible flakes. My lips get so flakey that I end up picking at it often. I have tried at least 20 balms out there and almost all of them failed. I've tried many versions of the Chapstick brand, all the Nivea ones available, Burt's Bees, Carmex, plain Vaseline, Aquaphor, Blistex, Aveeno, "natural" ones such as Yes2Carrots, various Avon ones, Neosporin, Mary Kay, EOS, etc, etc. you get the idea?? Usually balms would work the first week or so then suddenly stop producing results which is very frustrating. This one failed as well and I had such high hopes because everyone here raves about it. It was moisturizing for only two or three days, then my lips became crusty again. I had no issues with the roselike scent. I hate to say it but this felt like Vaseline except it was $6 for way less product and it didn't work any better. I am starting to believe that my lips simply do not like petroleum based products because Jack Black has been a miracle for me..that Palmers Cocobutter stick was one of the better ones too. I am probably keeping this to use as hand lotion because it seems to do an ok job of it.

I have very thick hair and my bikini area is prone to irritation and itching after shaving. I don't wax because of the price. For years, I used a Sally Hansen anti-itch product that somewhat helped keep itchiness away but the smell was horrific and it would linger so I just had to try something new and I'm glad I did. Tend Skin really helps keep the itchiness away for me. It doesn't do that much for ingrown hair if that is your main concern but it decreases bumps a bit. It smells like rubbing alcohol but the smell doesn't linger or anything.I drip a very small amount onto a cotton pad and rub it onto the shaved area right after I get out of the shower. I do this every night for the next few nights following shaving (I shave about once every other week). Just make sure the shaved/waxed areas are well dried because I heard that can cause burning! It's expensive for a small bottle but a little goes a long way. I would definitely rebuy this.

I have tried the Philosophy peel and I don't really see a difference in results between the two I've been using this for about two months. I use this once a week and it always makes my skin smoother and brighter. I also notice how my makeup goes on so much smoother. Blush goes on more evenly and are more pigmented. I don't have sensitive skin so I can't warn you about breakouts but I haven't experience any breakouts from this. It tingles a bit when you first apply it but that is all. No itching or adverse effects. I don't have any complaints about this product.. The price is reasonable and it will last me at least a few months.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush

Initially, I only bought one and I love it. I use it more often than my MAC 239 for packing on eyeshadow. It picks up just the right amount of eyeshadow and it applies eyeshadow evenly as well. There is major quality assurance issues though because I bought two more but they were terrible. The cut was weird and they don't pick up eyeshadows as nicely. One of them had longer bristles than the other two. If you buy this in person please look at the bristles first before buying. I know they were cheap but I didn't expect all three of them to be so different from one another.

I have very dry skin and this product only made things worse! I didn't think that was possible but it's true. I used it on both my face and body for a few weeks and my skin would sometimes look flakey right after application. It's not pure aloe gel...it may be the additives drying out my skin. I am disappointed and I guess I may have to try to use it for my hair.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Vibrant Grape

Don't get this. It lacks pigmentation and the texture is a bit chalky. It's one of those eyeshadows that you have to apply with a sponge because brushes can't pick it up well and it won't apply evenly. I suppose it would probably show up better with a sticky black or purple base but for the price we are paying, we shouldn't need to buy/use a separate product to get the pretty purple color we see in the pot.

It's an extremely sheer champagne on me (NC40-42) with shimmer to it. The shimmer is fine and not glittey at all. It's nice for those who like to just wear a wash of eyeshadow on a lazy day but I don't like this because it actually causes eyeshadows to crease on me. I tried using it in different amounts and with different eyeshadows but there was always noticeable creasing. I have dry eyelids and I hardly ever experience creasing.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Smog

Gorgeous coppery bronze...it is smooth as silk and so easy to blendl. My only wish is that it were a bit darker on me. I am NC40-42 and this is not as dark on me compared to all the swatches I've seen online. It is definitely more golden on me than bronze. It would look gorgeous on anyone though but I think it's especially nice on fairer skintones.
