Eye Shadow -Stila - Fall in Love Eyeshadow Trio in Silver Maple
rated 5 of 5

i too missed out on this and was so sad because i thought i'd never ever own this since it's long discontinued. i'm lucky enough to have a fab of a friend to send this to me and it's now one of my favorite smokey eye looks. the packaging is annoying...i have to hold it open since it doesn't stay open but it's no biggy since the inside product totally makes up for it. it has a beige w/ shimmer particles...a imo a perfect shimmery silver...and a deep charcoal almost black (shimmer). the shadows are so pigmented and such great quality as stila shadows tend to be. probably one of the few items i'll end up using alot this fall since i have alot of greys and darks in my wardrobe. i might even end up using this up since i do smokey eyes alot...but then a litttle goes a long way since it's pigmented so it could last awhile. if you can find it go get it...you wont regret it.

Palettes -Stila - Barbie Loves Stila All Doll'd Up Palette (2009)

i got this as a gift from a dear friend and i love it! i wasn't planning on touching it...i was just going to keep it for my collection until i had the guts to touch it. (palette is just so cute) i wanted to just look at it today while i was bored and i got tempted to try it so i did an eotd today w/ it. great pigment...great quality and really lasted. the colors are so gorgeous! you get neutrals, brights and smokey. i can wear a different color everyday and it will match everything i own. i wore the peach/brown/green trio and got compliments from my friend, dd and dh. love this palette! if you can still find it..get it..not only is the exterior just too cute the product inside is such great quality.

Mascara -MAC - Zoom lash
rated 4 of 5
Steph0891 10/9/2009 12:49:00 AM

it's a good mascara but not the best i've tried. dior and lancome is still the best for me. this mascara is just as good as lash blast. but i think lash blast gives me more thickness. i'm not too fond of the brush either. back to lancome for me.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Underground 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
rated 5 of 5
Steph0891 10/8/2009 2:02:00 PM

this isn't bronze on me at all like others have described it to be. more of a taupe brown on me. very pretty and really looks great on my dark brown almost black eyes. gives em' that hint of pop. i love the hint of shimmer too and it goes on so smoothly and lasts all day for me, even on my lower rims which is where i like to put it. such a pretty color and great quality. so glad it's not LE like most of my favorite liners.

Eyeliner -MAC - Molasses Pearlglide
rated 5 of 5
Steph0891 10/8/2009 1:55:00 PM

i LOVE pearlglide liners and MAC really should make them all permanent. they go on so smoothly and stay on all day for me. i originally had passed up on molasses since i thought it was just a boring ol' brown. but i regretted it later and it was too late because it's LE. i was lucky enough to have gotten it as a gift from a dear friend of mine and i am just loving it as much as all my other pearlglides. it isn't shimmery like the rest but it's such a perfect deep, rich brown. perfect enough for everyday and not too light for girls like me who likes dark liners. a staple in my m/u routine and backup worthy if i'm lucky enough to find another.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 109 Small Contour Brush
rated 5 of 5
Steph0891 10/8/2009 1:49:00 PM

i'm huge on contouring....i cannot leave the house w/ out doing this part of my makeup routine. and this brush is awesome. small enough to put the product exactly where you need to. i was contemplating on getting a back up of my 165 brush since i feared i wouldn't be able to get another great contouring brush if something were to happen to my 165 since that one is LE but thankfully i came across the 109. so no more backups needed for me. feels so soft too but dense enough. also picks up enough pigmentation unlike the 188. really great brush and hg status. i haven't tried it for foundation or blush yet and i'll update when i do.

Polishes -OPI - Siberian Nights
rated 3 of 5
Steph0891 10/7/2009 12:24:00 AM

i too found this at target and thought the deep purple on the bottle looked beautiful so i had to have it. but like everyone said, the first coat is very streaky...and the 2nd coat makes it look black. too bad, i was hoping for more purple. the brush too is a little splayed..if that's a word? ha. as for chipping..no problems as long as you use a good base and top coat.

Polishes -New York Color - Long Wearing Nail Enamel - Starry Silver Glitter 105
rated 4 of 5
Steph0891 9/13/2009 2:46:00 AM

i had this for a few months now. got it for 94 cents. i had originally tried it by itself and wasn't to excited about it. i ran across the reviews tonight and decided to follow one reviewer and put it over black polish and that looked great. it has tiny silver glitters w/ big bigger chunks of glitter in blue and purple. very pretty over black polish. by itself...not so much imo. i'll have to try it over other colors.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

worst mascara i've ever tried. takes for ever to dry and when it does it smears and flakes through out the day. it doesn't give me length nor any thickening.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Nail Art Pen
rated 4 of 5
Steph0891 9/12/2009 2:50:00 AM

i got this in white. i wanted to try and make my own french tip and this made it very easy. only problem is that it doesn't last. even w/ a top coat. it really is a great idea...if sally hansen came out w/ a better formula that actually lasts then i'd buy it again in a heartbeat. UPDATE: so i had to update my ratings from a 2 to a 4 because i ended up eating my words and buying this again when i ran out and even bought some of the other colors for my daughter and i to play w/. i found that if i put several layers of my rimmel clear polish that it really does lasts for awhile. it's still disappointing that i have to put several layers of my top coat to make it stay but it's been the best white tip pen i've tried that really makes it easy to make my own french tip.

Self Tanners -Hawaiian Tropic - Island Radiance Self Tanner
rated 4 of 5
Steph0891 8/27/2009 10:09:00 PM

i also got this in the gel formula. there was 2 choices...one that opted to 2 shades darker...and the other 3 shades darker. i got the 3 shades darker and wanted to see if i can get a nice tan in just one application. smell wasn't too bad compared to most...my husband even said it didn't smell bad. but it did take awhile to dry down and sink in...left my skin somewhat sticky for awhile. first application was in no way 3 shades darker as the ad promised but it did give a nice tan. didn't have any problems w/ blotches or streaks. could be a hg and for the price tag of $6+ at my navy exchange i would've bought again if it weren't for the sticky after feel.

Crème -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless
rated 5 of 5
Steph0891 7/30/2009 3:26:00 PM

i was debating on the 225 or 240 and ended up buying the 225. i'm an nc25 sometimes an nc30 and the 225 was a perfect match. i have dry skin so it was nice how moisturizing this is. it hasn't broken me out yet so that's a plus. it has medium coverage. so far i'm really liking it. pretty expensive tho for a drugstore product. cost $14+. will use it longer since i've only been using it for 3-4 days and will update my review if there are any changes.

Palettes -Stila - Indian Summer- Charmed
rated 5 of 5
Steph0891 6/25/2009 10:58:00 PM

this palette is so gorgeous. the colors are so pigmented and goes on very smooth. looks great during summer but i'm sure these colors would look great in any season. i like to wear the peach bronzy color on my lid..the maroon to contour just above my lid...the dark plum to line my upper lid and the turquoise to line my bottom lid. very pretty colors and just looks great w/ my dark brown eyes. i really feel it makes my eyes pop. only downside for some i think is that it doesn't have a highlighter color but that doesn't matter to me because i already have a ton of highlighters. so i'm glad there's 4 gorgeous, pigmented vibrant colors instead of a wasted spot for another boring highlighter. awesome quality..lasts all day on me.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Body Splash in Plumeria
rated 4 of 5
Steph0891 6/19/2009 11:12:00 PM

i usually went for fruity, fresh scents. so this is my first floral scent i've ever tried. first sniff it made m dizzy. was very strong and super over the top flowery..kind of reminded me of a scent my grandma wore. but then after it died down it smelled better and i was surprised to see how much my husband loved this scent on me. he's usually asking me to wear fruity scents but this seems to be his new favorite. not my favorite scent ever..but if my husband loves it and it turns him on..well heck..i'll wear it. lol.
