My HG undereye concealer! Beats MAC select coverup by FAR! A tiny tiny bit goes a long way, and doesn't settle into fine lines. Doesn't feel thick like select coverup, and doesn't have to layer it on. The best thing is it's more than 3 times cheaper!

Eyeliner -Prestige - waterproof eyeliner in star

One of my staples. I used to own many other white shimmery eyeliner that i use to line the lower lashline and the inner corners of my eyes. After i bought this, i gave all my other ones away. At first, i found it's hard to get any color on, and turns chalky if i draw too hard. However, i found that if you very lightly draw it on back and forth a few times, you'll get the perfect amount of white shimmer. The even better thing about this product is that it's truly waterproof. Lasts all day, even through pouring rain, when all my waterproof mascara and eyeliner got washed off, this stayed on without any fading in color. LOVE!!! Will definitely get a few backups since who knows when the prestige section in my london drugs would disapear.

The size of the tube and wand feels very comfy. But everything else was pretty bad about this mascara other than that it doesn't clump.I'm sure many people bought it due to the adorable packaging. But i found even a cheap ds mascara is comparable with this. No volumn, little lengthening, and no color. I would buy it if it was as cheap as ds brand ms.

Blush -Jane - Blushing Glow Blush

I saw a person saying that this blush is the true peach color that other blushes cannot beat. On me, this turns quite pink. It's very pigmented, but i dont really like the packaging and the powder is not pressed enough. However, for a product with this price ($6 CND), this is truly great. I actually liked the shimmer in this one, since it's actualli a quite natural shimmer. Will definitely try other jane blushes. Wouldnt buy this one again because i'm very experimental and this is not like..my HG blush.

Gave this 2 lippies because this is slightly better than all over shimmer, since it actually shower up on my cheeks. The texture is just like all over shimmer, gets very loose when dabbed with a brush and makes a mess. I really hope i'll grow to like them, since there are tons of rave reviews about them. I'll update my review when i feel like i got the hang of this.

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+

With this spray, i noticed very difference difference with the staying power of my makeup. The spray itself sucked, b/c i can never get it to spray to where i wanted, and it doesn't spray evenly. The smell is also awful. I get a very oily feeling on my face when i use it. I don't know if i'm using this wrong or if it's just not for me. Wouldn't spend $18 CND to buy it again. I would rather use evian.

Hair -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme Haircolor

i'm reviewing this product in D43 deep copper blonde. This is probably the most popular asian hair color at where i live. I dyed my hair hazel brownish half a year ago, and the top half has grown out and became black again. I didn't wanna spend so much money to go to a salon to do a touch-up, so i spent $10 CND to get this. I got my mom to do it for me, and note that this is our first time to ever dye hair ourselves. I decided to dye full head, since it was easier that way than touch-up. The result was fantastic! WAY better than what i expected! Even though i can notice the uneven-ness of the coloring when my hair is wet, the color looks quite even when it's dry. In addition, the color is much much more vibrant and shiny. It kind of renewed the color i had before. With this kit, you don't need anything else other than what it provided. Just remember to follow the instruction step by step. When i want a natural coloring, I'll never go to a salon to dye my hair again.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Megaliner Liquid Liner- Brown/Brun
rated 5 of 5
OolilredoO 6/20/2007 5:17:00 PM

WOW! I used to be a hardcore h/e mu user, now this eyeliner completely changed my view on ds mu! I got this at london drugs for $6 CND. I was wondering around in the store and trying on random mu, untill this eyeliner in tourquoise caught my attention. I noticed that it had a vibrant metallic color, dried quite fast, and doesnt smuge. But i know for sure that with my typical asian eyes, i can't pull off tourquoise, or the other two beautiful colors, purple and blue. So i left with the brown one. This morning i used this, and i was surpised at the beautiful metallic color, and i actually found this easier to apply than my chanel liquid liner! This color looked very natural on me, compared to black liners which looked harsh, because my pupils are light brown colored. This color really brings the attention to my actual eyes, instead of my eye makeup. LOOOOVEE! <33333333333 I'm going back to get the purple one because i just love this too much! Update- When i got home today, i looked in the mirror and noticed how bright and neat my eye mu looked through 6 hours of working. I detected very very minimal fading in the inner corners of my eyes, but that's okay, because who's gonna look at me THAT close? This is TOTOALLY HG material!

Misc Beauty Tools -Revlon - Makeup Eraser Pen

What comes out of this is like a layer of MU remover lotion. It feels kind of oily, but it's great for getting rid of smudges and mistakes. I also keep it in my purse for touch ups thru out the day. It's a bit annoying because it's a bit too wet, so while i clean up my eye area, my conceal is gone too...Maybe i will put on conceal after i do my eye mu.

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Color Rush in Fever

Nice e/s! i got it for a little bit over $6 CND and it had 3 colors. They are not very pigmented but if you apply hard you get beautiful results. Since these 3 colors were similar, i was even able to do my flat asian crease without looking like a monster. With this trio, you don't even have to blend. I just used a crease brush. Great!

Good quality DS brush. I got it for $14 CND. Very soft and picks up e/s really well. This is actually my first low end brush, and i find it to be softer and have better control than BB brushes!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Electric Eel

Amazing amazing color!!! I'm an NC20 asian with flat eyes. I rarely find e/s that compliments my eyes and make them look bigger. This e/s is one of the few that i ADORE! Very pigmented. I wear it only with heavy eyeliner. And there will be enough color for me( im a heavy MU person). I recommand using it in the crease or in a small area only. Update 19/06/2007: I found that i can't wear this color too often, unless there is a special occasion. So took off 1 lippie for that.

Brows -Chanel - Perfect Brows

I gave it 5 lippies because the product is wonderful, but wouldn't buy it again due to the ridiculously high price($72 CND after tax) and i doubt if i'll ever use up this current one. I went to the chanel counter and was hoping to get the brow pencil. The MA was a very pretty and nice asian woman. She started trying out the pencil, but it turned out that the brown shade is too light to match my current hair color. So later, we tried this. I loved this because it has everything u'll ever need for your eyebrows. It contains 3 colors of eyebrow powder, 2 applicators, a tweezer, and a magnifying mirror. My natural hair is black, but i always like to dye it brown. This product suits my needs because no matter what hair color i choose, there will always be a color that i can use. Using this requires some skills and practice. Before you use it, you need to use something similar to a mascara wand to loosen up the powder. Then, you have to dab the applicator really hard into the powder in order to get some pigments on it. The applicator may feel hard and big, but once you get the hang of it, you'll find it provides consistency and better control than any other brow powder applicators. The MA also told me that i could use a eyeliner brush. I haven't tried because i found the original applicator to be good enough. This product is worth the investment. You'll never need to get another eyebrow product in at least 3 years with daily use. The thing i like most about this is that it has great staying power. At the end of the day, you'll only find a little bit of fading. Ohhhh...why are you even reading this...just get it and try...in a week, you'll begin to love it...I say in a week because in the first few days you'll hate it because it's hard to apply and so expensive!

Wow...what a pretty pinky blush...I agree with the others that it's a pale girl's blush. It leaves a petal like finish on my face. However, I hated the brush that came with it and hated the box. It's not travel friendly at all. But that doesnt stop this powder for being my HG blush. Loves the smell too!
