Treatments -Unlisted Brand - DR WU INTENSIVE WHITENING SERUM WITH AA2G™
One1Cherry 1/16/2013 2:29:00 AM
This is my HG whitening serum. I have freckles on my cheeks and they have been worsening as I get older. I have to use whitening serum on a regular basis to keep them in check. I went through half the bottle before i notice significant reduction in my pigmentation. I guess I've not been paying attention to my skin for some time before I notice the improvement. It comes in a dropper dispenser, no noticeable scent. The liquid feels like a tacky toner, a cloudy whitish liquid. I didn't have high hopes initially. I could not find very many reviews online and of those i could find, the reviews are very good indeed. Product description extracted from website: DR.WU’s exclusive Immuno-Whitening Formula contains five advanced patented technologies- AA2G™, O.D.A WhiteTM, Edelweiss Extract, Potassium Azelaoyl Diglycinate and Codiavelane®, which can effectively act on different steps of melanin synthesis process, especially at the source of melanogenesis by blocking the composition of tyrosinase. This unique formula not only lightens the skin and reduces dark spots but also proves to be effective in reverse signs of aging such as loss of elasticity, spots, dull and uneven skin tone. This is the first whitening product that made a noticeable difference, highly recommended.
Sunscreen -MAC - Lightful Protective Moisturizer SPF 30
One1Cherry 1/11/2013 10:19:00 AM
Mine was called MAC Lightful Marine Bright Formula Moisturizer Hydratant SPF 30 / PA++ and is in a different packaging from the picture. I really liked this, it feels light, does have a slight white cast but disappears quickly. The scent however i did not care for, but it's not noticeable when i apply to my skin, even though it smells strong when i sniff off my hand i tested on... guess thats a good thing. It contains Zinc Oxide but the actual percentage is a "secret" according to Mac's consultant - i emailed them and they actually refuse to disclose. This is strange when other brands actually state the percentage of active sunscreen ingredients on their packaging. How are consumers going to decide and choose between brands when the percentage is one of the main considerations??? If i can find a similar product that contains the amount of zinc oxide i require, i'm going for it. The packaging is good and bad. Its in an opaque white bottle, protects product inside from light which keeps it good longer. The pump i do not understand, every pump gives such a small amount, does that you don't need alot? However it is not very water resistant. If i brush my teeth after applying this, it would come off with water around my mouth. If i perspire, it'll come off too. But not as bad as yes to carrots', which come off with any kind of moisture. Overall i'm pretty pleased with this sunscreen but the comfort level is not there as i do not know if the active ingredient is sufficient for my needs. I am pretty fussy with my sunscreen and do research before buying. I go for at least 10% zinc oxide, 15% would be ideal.
Treatments -Garnier - Synergie Pure - SOS Anti-Blemish Pen
One1Cherry 1/11/2013 10:12:00 AM
I got the "Pure active anti-imperfections roll on" and it really works. I use it as soon as i see a blemish surface. The next day the blemish broke down and i apply a few more nights until its fine. I think the main ingredient is salicylic acid which is what'll work against blemish. I roll over the blemish a few times and then use my finger to massage the liquid into my skin. There isn't a strong scent and the liquid is watery. The best thing is this is affordable and works.
I'm abit skeptical about this product and thought its alittle unhygenic to be redipping into the same solution and sponge but... Its amazing at removing normal polish, literally dip my finger in and wait 5 seconds, then twist around and voila!!! its gone! There isn't any polish left over at the side and no extra step is required. I'm in love. The sponge goes all the way in the container and you don't feel your figure is in the solution, which is not what i was expecting. The sponge feels very good quality, soft and firm at the same time. Not harsh on my weak nails, its non-acetone and it does leave a moisturizing coating... the smell is pleasant compared to other nail polish removers. Still smells of polish remover but with a little fruity scent that is quite nice. The amount of liquid inside is quite little, one bottle probable won't last too long. For glitter polish, i'll leave my finger in longer and do have to use polish remover on a cotton pad to remove every last bit but this has made removing glitter polish so easy! In the past, I completely saturate a cotton pad and hold it on my nail for maybe a minute. Then i had to rub and rub and rewet my cotton pad. With this, very easy. Totally amazing and will get backups. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.
I got this in "kiss and tell" and i love it. Its a sheer peachy polish. The formula, brush are amazing. Very high quality polish.
Cleansers -Vichy - Purete Thermale Cleansing Micellar Lotion for face and eyes
One1Cherry 1/4/2013 10:06:00 PM
This is my first Vichy face product and its amazing! No noticeable scent Like water Amazingly mild while removing makeup including eye makeup easily Although it is not required to be rinsed off, i still do because i'm just used to rinsing off any cleanser. I do the same for Bioderma and Nuxe. The only con is that its expensive. Very impressed and will continue repurchasing it.
You are suppose to apply onto your skin, wait for it to dry and then gently rub it off. I'm not sure tugging and rubbing your face is good for it, especially when one is trying to delay aging. If you have sensitive skin, you might end up irritating your skin and end up with alot of redness. I just don't get the logic in this product and glad i got it from a swap.
Cleansers -Ren - Rose Centifolia Facial Wash-Normal skin
One1Cherry 12/30/2012 7:25:00 PM
This is for normal skin and came in a set that includes their famous Glycolactic mask. But i ended up loving this cleanser more than the mask. I only use this in the morning because its not meant to remove makeup. It cleanses my face so well and yet feels so gentle and does not dry my skin. I have combination skin with pretty dry cheeks. This cleanser feels so gentle, delicate, pure and effective. After washing, my face feel clean yet very comfortable, moist, refreshed... amazing!!! Texture - light, watery, transparent gel, feels very refreshing. Foams mildly. Smell - of essential oil, mostly lavenderish scent The best facial cleanser I've ever tried.
I was given a generous sample of both the Hydra Quench cream and serum and was blown away by them. I have dry skin on my cheeks made worse by the harsh airconditioning. The combination of these two products totally changed them and my skin doesn't look parched anymore. They are amazing and I would recommend to anyone with dry skin. The cream is totally unlike your conventional cream. It's texture is more like a thick gel and does not feel greasy. It has a light fresh scent, unoffensive, I can't imagine anyone not liking it. Absorbs into my skin quickly and I have no problem applying BB cream on top of this. I would definitely purchase a full size of these when my existing stash runs out. I love love love these products and have had a hard time finding one that worked like these do.
Treatments -Ren - Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask

I bought a set that includes this product because I've been hearing so many good things about it. I've used it at least once a week for about 1-2 month now and maybe have one more use out of my 15 ml tube. I have to say for the type of product this is, which is a mild chemical exfoliant, I prefer Dermalogica's gentle exfoliant. The texture is a thick, orange gel and smells fruity. I'll apply it after cleansing and wait 10 to 15 minutes before washing it off. I have not noticed any amazing results nor glowing skin. I'm just glad i did not purchase the full size.
Toners -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid
One1Cherry 12/19/2012 8:48:00 AM
I do not like gooey, thick and sticky toner. I do not like this. I could not even go through half, ended up throwing it away. I don't usually throw products away and i really can't stand this.
Just a decent foot cream... nothing special about it and definitely not worth the price. I've been using it for about a month, almost daily and did not notice any major improvement compared to using my body lotion. I also don't like lotions that contain mint and this does. Will not repurchase.
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - UVA High Daily Protection Melt-in Cream UVIDEA SPF30
One1Cherry 12/10/2012 6:48:00 PM
I really like this, feels very light and moisturising. It does have a little white cast which disappears after massaging into the skin. The texture is lighter than La Roche Posay's other sunblock & feels like a moisturizer. I have combination skin and i use this after serum and eye cream. So far i really like this. I also use this mixed with Missha BB cream. I love how it applies on my skin. Feels very nice and comfortable. I liked that this is PA+++ protection for UVA which is responsible for skin aging. This uses Mexoryl XL which I believe is a very good and stable chemical sun block. Also believe Spf 30 is sufficient for normal daily usage. I also love the packaging. Its a tube with a nossle. Overall very pleased with the texture and would recommend this. The only downside is that I believe physical blockers would be more effective.
I really liked this toner/mild exfoliant. The scent is amazing, its suppose to be an exfoliant but i don't think i saw very tangible result. But as a toner, its great. My skin feels refreshed and clean after using it. I really enjoyed this product. The only think i dislike is the opening of the bottle. It does not have a cover with a tiny opening in the middle that only allows smaller amount of liquid through. The first time i use this product, i just assume there is and pour a huge amount onto my cotton pad. I find this very very annoying and a hassle to use. Update: I really hate the packaging! I switched to another toner for a week and when i come back to this, i forgot the container opening is "open", without a "stopper" to restrict the amount of toner when you pour it. I basically poured ten uses all at once. And the smell turn slightly bad by the time i'm left with about an inch of product and i just bought/started using it in Sept 2012. Don't how how that happen since i'm using it in the cooler months.
Super cute. I love DL's glitter polishes because they are so unique.
