I got this about almost a year ago and used it religiously up until a few months ago. The coverage is light to medium depending on how much you use this cover was a good match for my skin tone and it did even out my face a bit, however during the spring and summer my skin tends to be more on the combination side and this does not absorb oil that well. During the school day I would have to do touch ups so my face wouldnt look like an oil slick.The sponge that comes with this is horrible I just use a kabuki brush and that seems to make it look even better. The only problem is that it seems to make dry spots more obvious and after a while made my skin itchy and later break out. Overall pricer than other DS powder foundations and even though it claims to be gentle with minerals it just didnt work out for my sensitive skin.

Deodorants -Secret - Fresh Effects

The best deordorant I have tried hands down. I got the cucumber and aloe scent since I wanted something soft that would smell fresh but not compete with any other scents. The packaging is really cute and the cap has an irridesant effect like others have mentioned that stands out from other deordorants. I was amazed the first time I tried this, I felt dry all day long and the scent was still lingering throughout the day. This also leaves me dry during sports and gym class unlike my previous Dove deordorant. You deffinently get what you pay for and I will always have this.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single in Brulee

What an amazing everyday shadow. I have always loved the WnW shadows and when I heard about this one I just had to go out and get it. I got it for $2 at Walmart and the quality is far better than your regular drugstore shadows. Its the perfect everyday neutral shadow goes with just about anything and is perfect for work or school. Its goes on like a dream and lasts the whole day. I adore these shadows and plan on purchasing more!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Manicure Naked Ambition

Ughh this is posibly the worst polish ever. I went to Walmart about a week ago and purchased this color since lately ive been into neutral/ nude colors and in the bottle it looked like this would be perfect for my fair skin. Its a very pretty color, a light pale pink with just a hint of glitter. When I got home I put this on. The packaging is just ok I like the classy bottle design and the rubber ban outside the cap but the brush is just too wide for my small nail beds. This polish is impossible to apply nicely its way too streaky and theres no way you can paint of thin layers instead you have to apply thick gloopy layers to avoid streaks and uneveness. The color did look nice on my skin tone but by the next day this was chipping like crazy because of the thick layers.I ended up removing this that night and its even more of a pain to remove. I was very dissapointed in this polish and I wish I still had the receipt.

Hair -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Therapeutic Lavender Nourishing Shampoo

Sigh another useless bottle of organic shampoo I have tried. I got this one at my local hannaford since it was on clearance for $4 and I really wanted to try one of these. Organic and SLS free shampoo has been a savior for my hair its alot less frizzy and feels much healthier and looks shiner instead of using all those other toxic hair care products. However this shampoo didnt do anything at all but make my hair weighted down and greasy. Ive given this shampoo numberous chances and still by the next day my hair looks dirty and feels weighted down. The only thing I do like about this shampoo is the scent. The lavendar does not smell fake or cheap it smells relaxing and is really a pick me up in the shower. Overall just another full bottle of shampoo on my vanity and I do not reconmend.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails - Clear

Really nice and inexpensive nail hardener. My nails have recently been very prone to breakage and chips because I used alot of acetone remover and changed my nail polish frequently. I found this little gem for only $3 at my market and figured for only $3 its worth the try. I have been using this for about a week and I have noticed a big difference, my nails feel alot stronger and do not bend easily anymore. I apply two coats of this just like you would do any nailpolish and underneath the tips of my nails just like the packaging advises and its leave a nice shiny finish. I love this stuff and wish I had discovered it sooner!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Sweet as Candy

I usually love the Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadows and they have become a daily makeup staple but surprisingly this one was a dissapointment.My mom got this at the dollar store and as soon as I saw it I wanted to give it a try. I dont know whats wrong with this trio of shadows since I have had such a great experience with other WnW shadows. These did not go on smoothly like the other shadows and was very chalky. This looked very uneven and I ended up removing it. I will deffinently reourchase other WnW shadows but this trio was rather disapointing.

Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser

I bought this in a attempt to try to save some money instead of ordering things online. I got this for $14 at my local CVS and im dissapointed to say this didnt work at all for me. I have very sensitive skin that sometimes is combination and other times tends to be dry. I have tried tons of drugstore cleansers made for sensitive skin and none of them seemed to do the job without irritating my face. However I have had sucess with the Aquanil cleanser and it is my HG gentle cleanser unfortunently I can only get it online. The consistancy of this is a bit weird its like a souped up cetaphil but at the same time has a gel like feel and I love how both the cleanser and lotion come with a pump. After washing my face my skin felt very tight especially on my checks which is pretty surprsing since this is suppose to be a hydrating cleanser. I have had no luck with Cerave at all. I brought this back and will stick with my Aquanil cleanser.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Moisturizing Lotion

I wish I could say I was one of the few who did not breakout from this but then I would be lying. I got this as an attempt to replace my beloved Cetaphil cream since I cant get the tube of it anywhere so I have to order it online. I got this for about $15 at my local drugstore. The consistancy is a bit weird, almost a mix of a cream and a gel, but once I put it on it absorbed almost instantly and felt very light weight. However I woke up the next morning with a bunch of blackheads on my chin and my nose. I was finally almost blackhead free and I know for a fact this caused them. This also broke me out and I had a few bumps underneath the skins surface. Surprisingly once I want back to my regular moisturizer my blackheads started to go away. I returned this and even though its a few dollars more I will return to my HG Cetaphil cream.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - ColorIcon Palette - Vanity 249 [DISCONTINUED]

Wow what an amazing steal! I got this a few days ago and I can see this becoming my go to eyeshadow palette. The colors are surprising pigmented and they go on nice and even and arent chalky at all. These last a good amount of time and are inexpensive as well as having good quality. This palette comes with six shadows, three are matte and the other three are shimmer. I experienced no fallout and this costs about $6 where I purchased mine. Another winner from WnW and I plan on purchasing more of these great shadows.

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Renpure Organics I Love My Hair! Body and Shine Shampoo

I had no luck with this shampoo whatsoever. I was in search for a good sulfate free and organic shampoo and this fit the bill. I was going to try a Kiss My Face shampoo but this was few dollars cheaper I believe I payed $5 for this shampoo and it came with 2 more ounces. The bottle is a muted light green and the bottles a weird shape so it would be easy to find this on the shelf. Although the price was great I had some trouble with this shampoo. First of all it had a frangrance the frangrance was ok and smelled nice and fresh but it kind of surprised me they would contain that in something that is claimed to be "organic". I have tried washing my hair with this a few times and my hair aways gets oily and dirtier throughout the day. It doesnt seem to clean well and I had to use a clarifying shampooto fix the problem. Overall I do not reconmend this at all and im still searching for the right shampoo for me.

One of my HG reds.Like others have described this is a deep raspberry red with blue undertones and a bit of shimmer. I have been wearing this nonstop lately and it looks great on my fair skin.I have no application problems and I will definently be repurchasing.

Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo

A really good clarifying shampoo for such a resonable price. Lately my scalp has been feeling very itchy and I could feel some sort of build up. My hairdresser said I could benefit from using a clarifying shampoo. I got this one for $1 at Dollar Tree and its great. The smell is amazing and it lathers nicely. After using this my scalp does not itch anymore and my head feels clean I can also go an extra day without washing my hair since this reduces oily roots. I only use this once a month so the bottle will last me a looong time!

Conditioner -TiGi - Bedhead Moisture Maniac Conditioner

I have used this a few times while staying overnight at my cousins house and this conditioner is just mediocore even though it claims to add moisture to your hair. My hair was still dry and rough after using this and I didnt notice any difference at all it just coated my hair. The packaging was cute like all TIGI pr.oducts are but in the end this does not deliever for the price you pay.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

My cousin gave me her delux sample of Bare escentuals from Sephora and I was excited to try it since all foudations I have tried in the past irritate my sensitive skin and this is suppose to be gentle.This little kit came with a mini kabuki brush the powder foundation and the mineral veil. I have to say it was gentle for me and did not irritate my skin but it hardly gives any coverage and it makes dry patches more obvious.I only give this 2 stars because for a higher end brand you would expect more from it and im glad I only had a sample and did not waste my money. However I did like the mineral veil and I would pruchase that instead of the foundation.
