Eye Shadow -Kat Von D - True Romance Palette in Poetica

Not my favorite KVD palette, but the purples are lovely. I love the duochrome whites she puts in some of her palettes. This one being a white with a purple sheen to it. The cream, of course, dried right up. Which is sad, it was a lovely color. This palette is wonderful for hazel, green or brown eyes. The colors do go wonderfully together. I would purchase this again if I used it up.
I adore this palette. The white packaging as opposed to her usual black palettes caught my eye and made me decide to give it a try. I love the colors, but wish they had been better matched with one another. I always feel I need to reach for another palette or additional shadows to create a full eye look using this palette. I'd prefer being able to grab one palette and be able to finish my eyeshadow look with the one palette. The colors are lovely. But like her other palettes, that pesky cream shadow dried up rather quickly. I would repurchase this palette.
Palettes -Kat Von D - Gypsy Palette [DISCONTINUED]

This is my favorite of Kat's eyeshadow palettes. I'm truly sad that it is a DC'd product. The greens in this palette are wonderful. I feel that 34.00 for 8 eyeshadows of this quality is a great price. I gave the packaging a 4... I LOVE the packaging of this product but I wish it would have been better designed to keep the cream shadow from drying out... If I had the opportunity, I would repurchase this palette. I feel it will be the first palette I ever use up.
I gave this an overall rating of a 4. It's a lovely neutral color on me, the price isn't outrageous and the packaging isn't bad. However, I don't feel like this is any sort of outstanding color that I cannot match with another brand later, so I probably would not repurchase it. Although, I do adore the color.
I've heard that this is another color by mac that is hard to pull off and doesn't suit many people. Once again, it suits me well (nw20 skintone). This color takes quite a bit of work to pull off. To get it to look nice I have to use a heavy duty lip balm (liberal application of korres lip butter for example) and a nudey pink lipliner all over my lips. No balm = settles into lines and accentuates flakes and cracks. No lipliner = fading from the inner portion of the lips. But if you put the work into it, this is a lovely nude color.
I absolutely adore this color on myself and just about everyone else i've seen wear it. It's not as drying on me as other MAC lipsticks i've used and it's a lovely flattering shade. Definitely worth the 14.50 plus tax. I would purchase this again and again if it were available.
This color can come off as quite garrish on a lot of ladies out there. It takes a little work, and some lovely moisturized and exfoliated lips to pull off this lippie. If your lips aren't in good condition, this settles into your lines and accentuates flakey lips like mad. It's a lovely color if it goes with your skin tone. I really like this lippie and would purchase it again if I could.
Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Bite Of An Apple (Venomous Villains)

This blush can be hard to work with, especially for the fair skinned ladies out there. If you aren't careful and use a light hand with this color you can end up looking sunburnt instead of nicely flushed. If used with a stippling brush it can create a beautiful healthy glow. This is one of my favorite blush products, if I could, I would purchase this again.
I love the lavendarish color of this beauty powder used as a blush. It gives a lovely color to my fair cheeks. If I had the opportunity to purchase another, I would.
I bought this product mostly for the cute rose design on it (A Rose Romance Collex release). I'm rather fair skinned and it still barely shows on my skin. It does give a pretty color, but I wish it was just a little more pigmented than it is. I wouldn't buy this product again because I honestly feel I'll never finish the one I have.
