**Description** A mild, oil-free and soap-free highly foaming cleansing gel that effectively deep cleanses to clear open pores and rinse away excess oils, make-up, impurities and daily grime. Leaves the skin feeling cleansed and purified. **MY opinion** I like this product a lot. I bought its travel size version on a whim during a clearance sale at The Body Shop. I really didn’t know what to expect from this face cleanser so I decided to put it on my swap list w/out testing it first. One day I was out of face cleansers and this product came to my mind. What a lovely surprise!! I ended up using it a lot during the last month and I honestly think this $ 10.50 Seaweed purifying face wash is worth every cent. It won’t dramatically change your life, but it will remove residue on your face, leaving that nice feeling of a freshly scrubbed skin.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Starlight Eye Shadow

I've mixed feelings on Starlight. I like its texture a bunch but the color itself isn't anything special IMHO. Lately, I find myself using Kitten a lot more so I probably didn't need another Stila champagne highlighter e/s. That's why I wouldn't purchase Starlight again.

Treatments -Skinceuticals - C E Ferulic

I usually don't spend more than € 50 for a skin care product and C E Ferulic is € 125 ($ 195) here. To be honest, when I opened the little bottle for the first time, I was skeptic and perplexed. First off, the smell was odd, like something to eat (roast turkey?) and the serum itself wasn't very practical to apply. By the way, every time I put four or five drops on my face and neck, my skin looks NOTICEABLY more radiant, more lifted and more glowing within 3 hours. It's like a little miracle in a little glass container. That being said, I won't repurchase C E Ferulic in the future. Unfortunately, it's too pricey and I still don't like its serum form that much, but I definitley can see why so many people love this product now.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Roach eyeshadow

If you usually like rich brown e/s, you'll adore Roach. I'm deeply in love with this silky, amazingly pigmented and very easy to blend shade. I use Roach very often and usually pair it w/Blunt. I agree, it may be a little pricey for a non makeup junky, but it's worth every single cent IMHO.

Polishes -Nicole - Per-suede

Nicole products aren't available in Italy so I bought Per-Suede Me off Ebay. Well, I like this nail polish, it's an unusual purple/dark silver shade. I find it goes on my nails easily and dries quite quickly between coats (less than 5 minutes) but has a little bit too sheer texture IMO. Personally, I think Per-Suede Me makes my nails look more glamorous but I'm not sure I'd buy this again in the future. Luckily, there're other nice purple nail polishes out there.

Moisturizers -Guerlain - Super-Aqua Day Creme Confort

**Description** A silky day cream that provides intense hydration. Helps water circulate through skin cells. Brings vital essence to each cell. **My opinion** I got a generous sample of this product at Sephora. I tried it for about a week and I've to say that this moisturizer is really good. It left my skin soft, healthy, clearer and my make up glided on smoothly. On the other hand, Super-Aqua Day Creme Confort's insanely pricey here (30 ml = € 51,00 = $ 81). So I'm sorry Monsieur Guerlain, but there're other less expensive great moisturizers on the market and I don't think I would ever consider buying your full size cream.

Toleriane Facial Skincare is specially formulated to hydrate, soothe and protect very sensitive, intolerant, easily irritated skin. Very sensitive skin requires specific skin care to minimize risk of allergy or irritation.
**My opinion**
AMAZING unscented face lotion, one of the best I've ever tried including high-ends. Toleriane's light and non greasy but still very effective. It keeps my skin hydrated all day, a little goes a long way and works VERY well under my makeup. As the price is definitely affordable (€ 16,30 here in Italy), I will definitely purchase it again when the tube runs out.

An essential product for today's busy women, Mavadry dries polish in a few seconds and reduces chipping. It also gives brilliance to your manicure and prevents color from smearing and smudging. Mavadry is Toluene- and Formaldehyde-free formula. **My opinion** The greater majority of my expectations were easily met by this remarkable product. It's boring waiting for the nail polish to dry but Mavadry keeps my nail colours stay perfectly on for days and helps to give them great shine dry in few minutes. As this product does what it promises, I will definitely buy it again in the future and will recommend it to my friends.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Silver Fog

I don't know why I took so long to review Silver Fog, this was my first MAC full size pigment ever!! Anyhow, Silver Fog is a metallic frosty silver shade that totally makes my eyes pop. The color itself is vibrant, higly pigmented and stays on for hours. Especially indicated for smokey eyes, I will buy this product again and again!!

Liquid -Chanel - Mat Lumiere Long Lasting Luminous Matte Fluid Makeup SPF 15

I got two generous samples of this foundation and decided to test them last week. Thank God I didn't spend a cent on the full size b/c I don't like this product at all. First off, it offers a VERY light coverage, definitely lighter than expected. Second off, my skin looks SO BAD with Mat Lumičre on, it makes my T-zone shiny and causes pimples on my cheeks. I wouldn't recommend this liquid to anyone, it promises to give you a long lasting and luminous natural finish but my skin only looks worse.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Gold Mode

One of my fave Mac pigments. Gold Mode is a tan gold very similar to Jardin Aires. I slightly prefer Gold Mode though, it offers a more blendable texture. Easy to apply, I use this shade almost everyday and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a versatile color that looks fabulous with brown eyes. Plus, a small amount lasts a long time so it's definitely worth every single cent you spend on it.

Format: jar **My opinion** Speaking of low end brands, I usually prefer Avon prodcuts over Yves Rocher ones but one day I was at the YR counter and decided to have a look at their e/s. Well, these velvet mousse products catched my eyes and I ended up buying one of them in 02 Perle Argent. I like the “mousse” concept but this eyeshadow’s VERY sheer and POOR pigmented. So-so product, not as long lasting as advertised, but not terribly disappointing either. To be honest, I wouldn’t buy another Velvet Mousse again but if you like the brand and this kind of e/s... Well, I’d suggest you to take a look at those all the same.

Mascara -Smashbox - Thats a Wrap

This mascara came with the After Party Kit otherwise, it wouldn't be in my beauty stash. I find using That's a Wrap is awful, the application is just messy and clumpy and the product itself looks very dry and stiffy. Awful big bulky wand too! I have no idea what they were thinking when they created this mascara, I definitely won't repurchase it.

Palettes -BeneFit Cosmetics - Is this going to take long

I bought this trio in 2005 and used very little. I wasn't a fan of neutrals at that time but I've recently rediscovered this palette. Apart from the gorgeous packaging (a plus), I do love the way these three eye shadows blend well and mix together nicely. Is it going to take long contains a pearl eyeshadow (a soft shimmer shade for highlighting or applying as a base), a champagne eyeshadow (a great shade for contouring) and a bronze eyeshadow (a rich brown for lining and defining), It was costly, but well worth the investment.
