So I was having a problem with my nails looking real drab and over worked, like I had been polishing them forever without giving them any breathing room at all. They seemed to be peeling and even off colored with white spots of sorts. I got some of this stuff and started using it right away. It can be used all by itself or under the polish, thank goodness cause my nails were stained from all the strange colors of polish! I noticed a difference after the first use of this fortifier. My nails color and surface was better, not tremendously better but noticeable. After a month of using this stuff, they were so much better. I wear polish every day and change colors about twice a week so my nails are put through the ringer. This Lemon Fortifier has minerals and such. Whatever is included in the mix, it does make a difference. I am surprised I have not written this review until now but I wanted to share it with all of you since I remembered it when I replied to another person's post just now. Give this one a try and if it does not work for you, exchange it or get your $ back with the Avon promise.

Lip Gloss -Physicians Formula - PH Matchmaker Lip Gloss

I know I have been writing a lot of reviews for Physicians Formula lately but that is because I have been finding so many quality items that I want to continue to experience their newest products. This lip gloss is an unexpected delight for me! Usually me and lip gloss are not friends, but this one just sounded very interesting and since all the other PHMatchmaker products had been so awesome for me, I had to try it. It is amazing to say the least!. I got this in the Pink and like the other reviewer below me, now I want to go back and buy the light pink. The pink goes on clear as the others have said and then it starts to turn a very beautiful rose color with lots of blue highlights, almost a hot pink but not quite that bold on myself. It does seem to just kind of go with my skin tones! By go, I mean it seems to flatter my looks by being such a natural type color on me. Does that make any sense at all? It is just sort of is a color that literally matches me as though it was designed for my own coloring needs. I love the idea that it is not sticky like most glosses and it does not come off as a color onto my coffee cup either but rather it comes off as a clear gloss. Got to love that! It does leave a stain on my lips for a long time and I do love that too, but it did not stay as long as the other reviewer said, lol. I actually think the longer I wore it, the more lovely it became. I can't wait to use it again today! I am going to go buy the light pink today based on the reviewer below me claim of how beautiful that color is too. This is an awesome product in my book as is so many of the newer PF products this last year. Way to go Physicians Formula!

Lipstick -Physicians Formula - Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Lipstick

This must be a 'to each their own' type color and lip product. I have this in the rose shade and I must admit, it is more of a pink than a rose, but it is not an unwearable color for myself. I gave it a four on overall rating because I think the color could be more well described. I happen to think this is very good quality of lipstick. It goes on very soft and smoothly for me and I do not have any problem with streaking. I know come Spring this will be a color I will reach for more often. As for the design of the case, it is adorable and my little heart design is still very noticeable inside the stick of lipstick. I have used my tube daily for probably two weeks and I still can see that heart. Perhaps the lady who says hers is gone got a bad tube??? I also enjoy the smell of this lipstick. It is very faint but lovely. Not sure if it smells like a rose but it smells inviting to me. I really love how creamy it feels on my lips! It is so moist and soft. I think that is why I am using it all through out my day. I have not noticed a stain left behind yet but I will pay closer attention. Probably because I have just been reapplying it to feel the softness on my lips and the great moisture it delivers in this colder weather. I do like this lipstick and it probably deserves a 5 because their will be those who love this color no matter what the name is called. I just hope PF makes this lipstick in darker shades soon, like a purple would be awesome!

Bronzers -Physicians Formula - PH Matchmaker Bronzer

I got this in the Light Bronzer shade. It is beautiful! The compact is very unique with it's high powered lights on the mirror. They are so bright! The powder itself is amazing to say the least. It has a bit of shimmer to it that really lights up my face where ever I apply it. It is not an extreme sparkle or shiny mess like some bronzers, nor does it turn orange on my skin. Instead it seems to give me that very light tanned appearance that looks really good when using for contouring and on my chest area. The light color is perfect for an all over dusting to give my skin a bit of twinkle. I really do think this is the first bronzer I have been glad to own and have not had to take back for being to dark or turning orange on myself. I think the only thing PF could do to make this bronzer & it's sister blush better is to add a push button opener on the compact. It is not real hard to open but push buttons are easier for arthritic fingers & not messing up nails. ;-)

Blush -Physicians Formula - pH matchmaker

I got this in the Rose shade and with a 3$ off coupon attached making it a very good deal. Wow are the lights bright in this compact! So bright I can use them for a flashlight! So bright, I cannot see myself in the mirror. LOL but that is okay because I don't use the compact mirror when applying my makeup. I do like this blush very much. The color is an amazing bluish rose on myself and it does seem to adjust to my own pigmentation. It only takes a small amount on the brush to do both cheeks and it last all day and into the night. I love how fresh it remains looking all through out my day. I look in the mirror and I am very taken by how good my makeup still appears. Physicians Formula has really developed some great products this last year or so. I got the ph matchmaker bronzer that matches this blush too and it is also amazing but that is another review. This is a fantastic blush created by PF and I hope they continue to produce really great quality makeup.

Fragrances -Avon - Chic in White

I do like this perfume, but as always, I wish it lasted much longer. It is cheap enough to spray again and that is a plus. I hope this fragrance is not on it's way out of Avon's lineup because there are no samples to be bought in this scent. Being an Avon Rep. for too many years to count, this can mean a scent is being discontinued but Avon has not said this. The notes of this scent are written as, sparkling top notes of bergamot, fresh cut freesia and sparkling madarin lead to a floral heart of gardenia petals, white peony and white dandelion. The fragrance dries down to a veil of sensuously sweet white woods, white musk and warm benzoin. I do love the gardenia and madarin. This is a scent that reminds me of a sunshiny Spring day, very fresh with fragrant flowers budding. There isn't one dark note in the mix to my nose. It was the pick me up I needed for today. EDIT: I had to review my review ;-) and brought this fragrance down a couple of notches. I do enjoy the smell but the lasting power is just not good enough to merit a 5 in my book, and the dry down could be a bit better smelling too. I am not sure what it is in the dry down but something just does not sit right with my nose. It is almost a generic type smell, or would that be cheap. Anyway this is a good fragrance for around the house for a pick me up kind of day, but needs to be showered off before bedtime IMO otherwise it starts to smell rather cheap and uninviting.

Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - Midnight Couture Black Eau de Minuit

I ordered this for my birthday. I almost missed out on this lovely addition to the Lempicka lineup. There is a slight difference to the other Lempicka fragrances. It does have a lot of the same ingredients but there is just something different about it that I cannot put my finger on. I like it! IMO this Midnight Couture Black does not last as long as some of the others, let's say the L. edition for instance but that may just be my nose is unable to catch the scent as easy. I still love the L. edition the most so far but I am very pleased to have this Midnight Couture Limited Edition. The bottle is a thing of beauty all in itself and the fragrance is unique to the others. It is a wonderful inviting scent which I would not think could offend even the most sensitive noses. Since the bottle is black, I think the perfume will last way longer holding onto it's unique qualities, as less light is able to enter the bottle. Great idea, wonderful perfume.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum

I was lucky to get the double pack with the clear & the ultra black liner. I have been using these for a little over a week and I do see a big difference in not only the length of my aging lashes but the thickness as well! I am really loving this stuff. The clear liner is great if I want to wear a colored liner instead of black all the time. I put it on first and then apply my colored liner. I also apply this when I go to bed. The black liner is awesome. It is very black and makes a perfect thin line or I can go over it again and make a wider line. I am unsure how long my lashes can get before they stop reacting to this serum but I am loving it for now. I have beautiful lashes again and it is such great fun applying my mascara. I had been using Rimmel mascara, the one that makes your lashes grow thicker & longer for over a month but had seen little results until I added this. I still think the Rimmel mascara is good mascara due to it not flaking or smudging but this Eye boosting eyeliner + serum has proven results for growth in a short amount of time and I will continue to use it as long as I can find it.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Mattifying Face Powder

I do like this powder. At first I goofed and bought the luminous one, too much shine for my liking but the matte one is great. I love the light smell of the ingredients too. It is not a perfume fragrance but rather a clean aroma. The powder applied by itself is very airy/light. I have tried it alone and over foundation. Both ways have acceptable results. I can tell that come summer this powder by itself will be just enough coverage to do the job. During these winter months, applying it over my foundation allows a more refined look and I love it. I do wish that Physicians Formula would create more than one shade though! Translucent is okay and for sure it assures P.F. will sell a lot of this product as they cannot go wrong with translucent but I for one would really love to see this line of powder in some more realistic shades like Ivory, Natural Ivory, Beige, Buff, etc. Other than that, this one is a keeper in my wardrobe. I have removed the little cute brush and added a pretty cosmetic sponge for my own application. I find a brush makes this powder too loose & it flies around all over. To me too much product is lost using a brush and the sponge gives me more control over the application and better coverage. I love the pretty container too. I like it that it is larger and easy to grab onto and being color coded helps as well.

I wanted to like these but truth is truth and they suck! I thought the one's I bought were all dried out or something because I could not get a good line to show up in either color. I shook and shook and kept trying but finally I gave up and took them back. Some things belong back in the store to let the companies know to make their products better and I really do love so many of Physician Formula products, just not these.

I find this fragrance to be a very lovely milder scent. It is so feminine and quiet spoken. IMO I can wear this all day and never grow tired of the gentle whiffs of scent. I am not sure which note it is that carries in the breeze so lovely but it is there and it is noticeable all through out the day or evening. I love the way it smells on my skin under my nightie ;-). Sounds strange I know, but this is how I can tell a real quality perfume. If I can wear a scent to bed and wake in the morning with it still smelling divine, well that says it all to me. I can see this fragrance becoming an all time favorite and a must have in my collection for years to come. I just wish I had found it earlier.

Love it!!! The purple is my favorite purple now, even better than another all time favorite Lust from Urban Decay. I say better because the color is a beautiful purple for green eyes. It was really hard for me to stray from U.D. but I reach for this liner, along with the pencils from P.F. for green eyes all the time. This cream liner is so easy to apply and it lasts all day without ever smudging. It comes off very easy with just my face cream cleanser. My green eyes look so green when I wear these liners. Try them, you will love them too.

I have been using this blush for some months now and I do love it! This is so lovely and easy to use. It blends in very smoothly and can be applied lightly or deeper for a more intense look. I do think the lovely violet aroma has faded some from the container over the months but that is all that I have noticed. I do love the fragrance when I am applying this blush and wish that it remained stronger in the container but like I said I have had my blush for months now. I hope P.F. never discontinues the Happy Booster line of products. I think this line of products and the other newer products has really brought back customers to this makeup company. If you do not have one of these blushes you are missing out. The blush is top of the line quality and the design of the compact & heart design on the blush itself if a real keeper.

I have these for blue eyes and for green eyes. I do love them! The added bit of sparkle is awesome but not OTT. On me, they last all day until I remove it and never budge. I have green eyes but the blue brings out the green as does the purple. I love the taupe shade included in the blue eyes one too, and I usually do not wear the browns as it can drab down my green eyes but this color does not. This goes on very smooth & easy even using the included brush. I did purchase one for green eyes that was dried out too much due to a lid being not tightly in place. I had no problem exchanging it for another. I love these liners and love the packaging too. I find them easy to keep track of. I really hope P.F. never discontinues these, and the other Happy Booster line either. Great stuff!

Fragrances -Avon - FOREVER

Another new fragrance from Avon belonging to the Today Tomorrow Always series. This one being called Forever smells really nice upon first application and it dries down lovely as well. The pink pepper is noticeable right away but I do not notice the orange blossom too strongly. The only other note mentioned in the description is musk but I have never been able to tell what that is in fragrances. This is a lovely scent but as always, it is not long lasting. It's sisters Today & Tomorrow seem to last way longer on myself. I do think this fragrance is nice but I take away one point for it's lasting power. I think in order to wear this one out and about for a long day or evening would require a purse spray for touch ups to keep the fragrance fresh and ongoing. I only ordered the sample vials so I cannot review the bottle but it appears to be very similar to the others in this lineup. The price is a bit over the top IMO because it is only a 1.7oz. bottle for $30 and for a little more than twice that amount, I can go buy a 3.4 oz. designer fragrance from Nordstrom's that is twice as large. So...you see my point with Avon's pricing lately. If this was not quite so much, then having to respray would not be a big deal.
