Lip Liners -Prestige - Kiss
rated 5 of 5

I love the texture: smooth and soft and doesn't slip off...doesn't irritate nor dry out my lips...Easy to apply. The color of this one in particularly beautiful...goes with my pink/berry toned summer/spring lippies...and pinky-reds for evenings out. In particular, it goes beautifully with my Illamasqua Drench lipstick (picture in my profile)....which is a favorite of mine at the moment. The price is outstanding. I am almost out and plan to repurchase :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shadestick - Sharkskin

This is one of the best black eyeshadow bases I have found...the texture is smooth, doesn't drag or pull your skin in application, and isn't messy (doesn't get everywhere) like so many other black bases. It is easy to blend out. I only wish the tip was more pointed so that I could also use it as a liner and/or make a more precise/controlled "shape" with this product. This is a beautiful base for dark colors like blues and teals.

Palettes -Coastal Scents - 88 eyeshadow palette
rated 2 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 3:31:00 AM

I got the original 88/matte palette. What a disappointment. I saw/heard/read the hype....got my palette and felt so ...letdown. Very few of the colors are pigmented, even with a base and primer on. Most of these are hard to blend and have a chalky texture. It might be cheap (if you ignore the shipping costs)... but save your money for better quality. Quantity doesn't matter if the quality sucks. In 3 months I have reached for this palette maybe twice. If you're looking for a good deal on good quality eyeshadows...IMO you are better off going to buy NYX or buying some Sleek palettes.

Highlighters -Smashbox - Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion
rated 2 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 3:23:00 AM

Honestly, it didn't do much of anything to my cheeks/skin...no sheen, no color....I mix it with my foundation now, just to make it easier to blend and have "some" use for the lotion. I won't be repurchasing. Also, the pump on the bottle stopped working for me after 3 uses.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Tropic
rated 5 of 5

I absolutely love this color. Gorgeous, velvety, rich deep-teal green color...Highly pigmented. I am not a fan of glitter but it does not adhere to my eye lids/comes right off when I apply it. My only gripe: The glitter is getting all over the makeup tray in my e/s drawer

Palettes -Sleek - Original
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 3:04:00 AM

These eyeshadows are creamy, highly pigmented, and blend like a dream. IMO The texture and color payoff of these shadows beat MAC, easily, and cost so much less...even with international shipping I ended up paying about $23 USD for two palettes including shipping costs. That wouldn't even buy me two MAC eyeshadows. ETA: Do take note that the darker colors are more pigmented/have better payoff than the lighter colors...and you will get some fallout so layer the colors on a little at a time.

Palettes -Sleek - Jewels
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 2:58:00 AM

This is absolutely, bar none, my favorite eyeshadow palette. I have had this palette for about a month and I use at least one of the shadows every day. They are creamy, highly pigmented, blend like a dream, and this palette in particular comes in some gorgeous, deep colors. These shadows beat MAC, easily, and cost so much less...even with international shipping I ended up paying about $23 USD for two palettes including shipping costs. That wouldn't even buy me two MAC eyeshadows. ETA: Do take note that the darker colors are more pigmented/have better payoff than the lighter colors...The dark gold color in this palette is not as easy to blend as all the other colors. And you will get some fallout so layer the colors on a little at a time.

Highlighters -Illamasqua - Halcyon (Illuminator)
rated 4 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 2:35:00 AM

Gorgeous illuminator/highlighter for cheeks/face....The color Halcyon is described as "Ivory Pearl" and I don't think that's a good description. It is not pearl...It is more like a very light champagne color. It is very pretty and probably the more versatile color that will work for the most # of people (The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it dries very quickly).

Primer/ Corrector -Illamasqua - Satin Primer SPF 20
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 2:30:00 AM

I think the satin primer may just be my new HG primer, in particular for evenings out. It leaves my face radiant, and makes foundation look dewy instead of cakey/powdery. I used this primer with both Revlon Colorstay (for dry skin) and my BE mineral foundation...(mixed with Fix+) wow, a realllly good fit/finish for me! I have very dry skin with "patchy" areas of extra dryness, and this primer is heavensent for me :)

Lipstick -Illamasqua - Drench
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/7/2009 2:18:00 AM

This is a gorgeous, rich, creamy matte color....bright pinkish red....Perfect for evenings out, or even with a muted eye look during the day. Long lasting color. It's a standout for sure. I haven't seen this color in any other brand recently. I am not crazy about the packaging...glossy plastic which "shows off" your fingerprints.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Colour Focus Eyeshadow in Drama
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/3/2009 11:57:00 PM

I bought the full size eyeshadow after having received it in a gwp...I love this as a lid or highlight color...Such a pretty medium purple/lavender and blends so well with darker purples.

Moisturizers -Merlot - Moonlight Radiance Natural Grape Seed Night Cream
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/3/2009 4:51:00 AM

I love how this cream makes my skin feel at night...so refreshed! I have never been impressed enough with a moisturizer to re-buy it. I have sensitive, dry skin and most moisturizers break me out , irritate my skin or feel greasy/oily....and I have tried a lot of them from low end to high end. This is going to be the only moisturizer I go out and purchase again. I absolutely love it! My gripe is the packaging: I wish it came in a squeezable tube...I don't like having to dip into a tub of moisturizer...doesn't seem sanitary either.

Hair -Moroccanoil - Moroccan Oil
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/3/2009 4:40:00 AM

I have A LOT of very thick, coarse hair and usually need twice the amount of product than the norm...But I use about a quarter's worth of this (sometimes a little more) for the desired shine. I use Moroccan oil after conditioning with Enjoy luxury conditioner and after applying some phytodefrisant...and it's like the miracle combination for my hair. The combination makes my hair look shiny, soft and healthy...for the first time since I was 10 years old lol. Just a warning: When I first tried this, I was not a fan at all, because it felt too oily and weighed down my hair...My hairdresser (who I have been going to for 22 years) was very puzzled...She said that all of her clients who had hair like mine absolutely loved it. We figured out what the problem was: I was used to using a lot of product on my hair b/c of how thick it is. All this said just to warn you: A little goes a very long way.

Conditioner -ENJOY - Luxury conditioner
rated 5 of 5
LeeleeBell 8/3/2009 4:30:00 AM

I absolutely love this product, and I am hard to please. I have a LOT of VERY thick, coarse hair which tends to be on the dry side and frizzy. My hairdresser says my head alone carries the volume of 5 heads. This product soaks in/absorbs into my hair so well and leaves it feeling so soft and healthy. I highly recommend it. I have to say though, one major flaw is the packaging. I really wish it came in a squeezable tube, because it can be tough to get it out of the bottle.
