Highlighters -NARS - The Multiple in South Beach

I just got this today and I'm in love! This is such a far cry from my NARS Portofino multiple, which was the first one I bought. Unlike Portofino, SB goes on creamy smooth and blends like a dream. And the shimmer in it is gorgous! I think this is going to be something I'll really put to use. I wish I had gotten this sooner! Well, I'll be back to further update this after a few more uses under mah belt.
FYI: NC25, dark brown hair/eyes.
Update: I need to use SB in conjunction with a pinky blush to even out the orange. Otherwise, it's too orange on my NC25 skin~ 1 lippie docked.

Palettes -NARS - Afterglow / Warm Palette #9935

This palette rocks!! It was suuuch a splurge on my end tho (try $100USD - eeks!!) I found this on eBay and was the lucky winner of this rare find.
I have used everything in this palette and the awesome thing about it is that every item in this palette is versatile and usable because they're all neutrals.
I use the AAE duo and the blushes (deep throat/lovejoy) the most. This is also a great palette to bring along on travels. It's uber awesome - i <3 this!

Polishes -Essie - Wicked

This really reminds me of my Chanel Rouge Noir. In the bottle, they look IDENTICAL! I really can't distinguish the difference between the two except probably their price! Application with this is easy and effortless. Two coats for a nice rich dark burgandy, whereas with Chanel's R.N, one coat was sufficient. I do like this, but it will be a long while before i run out seeing that I buy nail polish faster than I can use them up!

Blush -MAC - Sheertone blush in Tenderling

This is my HG blush <3 I've hit pan big time and need to get another asap. It's a beautiful beige peach color that's perfect for everyday use and is fabulous when paired with a smokey eye because being a nude blush, it would never upstage your lips or your eyes. The blush can be applied lightly for sheer color or built up for more intensity. A staple in my makeup bag, this is a definate repurchase for me.

Loose Powders -Laura Mercier - Secret Brightening Powder

AWESOME~!! This is loose powder for your eyes. It sets your concealer and adds a thin layer of extra coverage. I apply this using my Bare Escentuals concealer brush. This is an absolutely fabulous powder to have and it should last me a good while. Love it!

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector

Incredible product!! My sister and I picked this up while on vacation in Hong Kong. I've used concealer under my eyes since I began using makeup at the age of 15 due to its redish-brown properties. I use this in "light peach" and it completely covers the red and the brown. It does exactly what it's formulated to do, which is counter and correct. I love this! HG material riiight here! I'm also keen on trying out Prescriptives Flawless Skin concealer due to all the raves about it here on MUA. Hehehe, I'm such a sucker for new makeup.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

Duno what's up with the hype surrounding this mascara. It's expensive and it sucks. Period. There is nothing special about their formulation - my lashes don't look oooph to me. The fragrance also isn't for everyone. Seeing that this goes on our eyes, i dont think that fragrance is called for. L'oreal's Waterproof Voluminous is the shite. Doesn't smudge all day & it thickens for 6.99 - I'll be sticking to that from now on.
BTW, I found this extremely informative. It's from LipstickFairy's review: After reasearching the ingrediants, turns out..."this mascara has loads and loads of alcohol in it. You ladies might as well be spraying your lashes with hairspray. This is the reason for the flaking and eventually it will cause breakage with over usage of this product."

Crème -Chanel - Double Perfection Creme Poudre (Creme Powder Makeup)

I apply this foundation with my fingers and it goes on pretty effortlessly. However, I've found that it doesn't cover redness all too well. It does help even out my skin a bit. I've also run into trouble applying it over my nose and forehead as it will accentuate any flakiness. Therefore on those two areas, I apply my MAC studiofix and only apply DP Creme Poudre to my cheeks and chin. The texture is easier to handle then liquid foundations and I love the packaging. However, it just fails to really impress me. I regret passing up on buying Chanel's Blanc Essectial Whitening Powder for this. Darn it! Oh well, I'll know better next time. This is an O.K. product. For $45 CDN it's nothing close to fabulous. I won't be repurchasing.

Lip Liners -MAC - Oak Lip Liner

This is just like Stripdown except perhaps a pinch lighter. It isn't all that special but for a person who loves warm, brownish nudes, this fits the bill perfectly. I'd repurchase this over Stripdown as I find it too dark and brown.

This is the first whitening product I've ever used so I can't really compare its effectiveness with other products. So far, I have used the whitening toothpaste along with the accelerator for a week and a 1/2 and I can now definately see results. My front teeth are like 2 shades lighter. I like this cause it's easy to use and a no brainer. However, the deep stains I have in between my teeth are still there. They may be internal stains which needs to be professionally dealt with. Anyhow, I enjoy using this alot and I'd definately repurchase!

I wish I had gotten South Beach instead. The pinkish coral doesn't flatter me one bit. The application is easy enough - very blendable. And the multiple is great for portability.
EDIT: Meh, still not my favorite thing to use but it looks better on me now that I've gotten paler. Ups two lippies~

This did absolutely NOTHING for my pimple. Toothpaste would probably work better than this!! I got a nice sample jar of this and was pretty excited to test out MB's products. To my dismay, none of the products impressed me, especially this.

Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Enzyme Cleansing Gel

I wanted to like this so much. After reading all the good things about this cleanser on MUA I guess I thought this would be a life altering change from my regular cleanser. Unfortunately, it isn't.
It takes off all my makeup but my other cleansers do that too. I don't see an improvement on my skin and I've actually had a pimple since I began using this. I dont know whether this cleanser is to blame or something I ate. Anyhow, I continued to use this and it didn't help much with the pimple. So no, I will not be repurchasing.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush

It's too small. Color gets deposited in one area and looks too dense. Therefore, I have to use a sponge to even out the distribution of the blush. I'm not loving this brush and I don't recommend it.

Lipstick -Lancome - Le Rouge Absolu - Beige Cashmere

Applies silky smooth and the scent isn't too strong that it offends me. Beige Cashmere is a golden apricot nude. I purchased this on eBay for only $7 CAD - Even cheaper than some of my drug store lipsticks =^.^=
