Eye Shadow -Ulta - Eye Shadow

Great eye shadow! Does not flake off throughout the day and it applies beautifully wet. While it's not as pigmented as I prefer, it is buildable and there is a good selection of neutral colors - most of them have some shimmer or shine, but there are some matte shades as well. These shadows wear OK throughout the day, but tend to fade over time.

Blush -Ulta - Cheek Color

Ulta has a great color selection and the blush selectio is no exception. While the texture feels soft, the application is a bit choppy. For those of you who like Stila blush, you will likely find the application of this blush to be similar. The blush is lightly to moderately pigmented - depending ont he color selection - and wear throughout the day was fair.

Polishes -Ulta - Nail Polish

I'm a polish junkie and had a spree on my first visit to Ulta. The color selection is varied and the wear is comparable better brands if you take the necessary steps to do a good manicure. The color selection has a lot of lighter neutrals as well as pastels, wild colors from which to choose.

Fragrances -Demeter - Apricot

Since my frist purchase of one of these fragrances about a month ago, I've rounded up another 7 :) Demeter fragrances are predominantly alcohol, which explains thier staying power (or lack thereof) issue. The scents are unique, and light enough to reapply throughout the day. It's necessary to maintain the scent! Apricot is sweet and pretty, but not too "fruity".

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Fresh Waterfall Mist

It's refreshing to see that B&BW is heading away from the "fruitstand fragrance" trend and into more diverse scents. This is a clean, fresh scent. Not much staying power, but light enough to layer with complimentary products or wear to work.

Kate...stick to bags and accessories. A wearer of this perfume will be followed by a swarm of bees. Sweet...too sweet.

I'm such a sucker for Juicy Tubes, and I was also pleased that this color is not as sheer as most of the others available. It's perfect with a neutral lip liner!

Harsh, harsh, harsh and it broke me out! After raves, raves for fellow MUAers, I ignored the ingredient list and happily plastered my face green. I did feel that it effectively stripped my skin of oil, but yuck - I broke out the next day!

What a gorgeous warm, peachy shade for the nails. It applies sheer, but I put it over Orly shimmering Mauve for a more opaque look. this is NARS Orgasm blush for your nails - it's gorgeous and perfect for spring!

This has been a staple for me for years. It's unfortunate that I bite my nails off when I get to thinking @ work, or maybe I would finally make it to Phase II. It truly does help to protect your nails while they grow!

I too an a fan of this line and couldn't pass this product up because of the name. A fan of admittedly big, tousled fluffy hair, it came as a surprise to me when I used it...and the volume effect was decidedly (pardon the pun) flat. Pass.

Skincare - Body -H20 - Marine Shave Cream

I bouthgt this as a treat for myself and it wasn't much of a treat. I went through the bottle in a week and there wasn't anything exceptional about the performance to warrant a price of over $10. If you truly do love this shaving cream, go pick up a bottle of Neutrogena Deep Cleansing Cream - similar texture and scent for 1/4 of the price.

Highlighters -Erno Laszlo - Fairy Dust

This is a multicolored, shimmery palette with shades of gold, coral, white and pink that can be brushed on the face, shoulders, etc, for a highlighting effect. Physicians Formula offers a less expensive alternative. I like this product, but I don't foresee using it enough to purchase another.
