I love double defense! Rich, but not to thick- really moisturizes my dry skin but doesn't leave behind any film or residue. I feel completely protected when i use this moisturizer, whether to work or on vacation. I love Somme, especially because i get an employee 50% discount!

I have to say, out of every product i've used in my whole life, nothing has pleased me more than pure oils. I have very dry skin on both face and body, i'm so glad i found oils, which are the only things that truly seem to moisturize it. EVOO is definitely one of my favorites, i use it for: Body scrub- simply mixed with sugar and honey to make a paste, nothing has been more effective at exfoliating or hydrating! I can use it all over my body and after rinsing i have a smooth creamy coat over my skin, locking moisture in and keeping the hot water from drying me out to much. After drying off there is absolutely no residue, just smooth skin and a soft glow. (my skin NEVER 'glows') Shaving oil- Hair removal on my legs has been the bane of my existance, i am a fair skinned blonde with dark coarse leg hair (thanks dad) and dry sensitive skin (and mom!) So my follicles were always red and irritated from shaving, or stubbly. I had heard good reviews on evoo for shaving and tried it out with bad results, i was applying to to wet legs and trying to shave without rinsing the excess away first- yuck. But i have finally figured it out! Just use the body scrub (above) on your legs pre shave, rinse and shave with nothing else added. They are protected, moisturized and exfoliated all at once for a super close shave. This is a huge deal for me, no bumps, no dryness and do i detect the ever elusive glow! Moisturizer- If i didnt have time to scrub or i just want moisture, i cover myself in the oil while still in the shower, let it soak in rinse, and towel off- i feel like i have conquered seattle winters! At night after washing my face i apply this all over my face, hop in bed and dream of smooth skin in my 60's, which i know it will give me. I love you evoo, and my skin thanks you.

being 22, this scent reminds me of elementary and middle school, very 90's. It is both sweet and fresh but also has something a bit sickening in it, so just a tiny bit goes a long way.

hmm...got this during a crazy childish scents fascintaion. Pretty much just strawberry, cotton candy and vanilla. pretty creamy, quite sweet. My mom said it reminded her of something in her childhood. Its ok, one of those scents that you yourself cant smell after the initial spray.

I have been using BS every couple of days for a week and so far i really like it. Because the particles are so tiny, theres no scratching going on, and you can really work it into the skin. My face is strange, dry and very prone to blackheads. It requires lots of exfoliation- this is my new favorite thing. I will try and edit after using for longer!

The bottle, the bottle! How i yearned for this to be the one, the one sweet, creamy, vanilla and fruit concoction oozing with warm sophistication, so that i could tote the amazing bottle around and call it my signature! How everyone would lust after my sugar apple glow and the sparkling green sea gem that housed it. How excited i was when i found a stock of it at my local fred meyer, $30 you say? A bargain! Why not! It has to be the one, just look at that bottle!! But then i slowed myself down and gave my wrists a good hearty spritz, and wore it the whole day with special attention. At first- cinnamon. a lot of cinnamon. Ok, i like cinnamon....BUT I BET THE DRYDOWN WILL BE AMAZING!!! Later- cinnamon, and...amber? hmm..ok... later still- POWDER. No! not powder! Why must everything turn to powder on me? Wheres the vanilla? The peach? I mourned the loss and washed my forearms. The search continues.

Sweet? Floral? Excuse me? Spritzed on my wrists this is pure greenery/salt water. Quite a surprise, im still very confused, sitting here...reading the flowery, citrusy reviews and sniffing my ocean scented wrists. I dont detect anything sweet or girly about H.H. in fact in smells almost identical to Demeter's Hawaiian Surf cologne, which is not complex...just salt water basically. What a long, lonely road the search for the perfect scent is!

MMM! I have been on a cheap body spray kick (random) lately, and i now have 3 different 'cotton candy' scents, while i enjoy them all hehe, this one is my favorite! Its very creamy sweet, not headachey sugar overload like some. I smell like a strawberry milkshake! Makes me want to spray it all the time! I also like layering it over blackberry or strawberry scents as well. damn good.

Im surprised there are so few reviews for this perfume! Lately i have been deep in a fragrance phase, which all of a sudden turned into a cheap-body spray-kids perfume phase....i really dont know why! And when i get this way its all or nothing, so last night i ended up at Bartells with a sickness whos only prescription was more candy sweet kiddie fragrances! To my excitement there was a super after holiday fragrance sale and i scooped up 4 body fantasy sprays($4 total), the cotton candy cologe ($3) and a Bonne bell strawberry smackers body spray ($2) The cashier looked at me like i was crazy, but i didnt notice out of my $9 tooty fruity bonanza going on in my brain! ANYWAY i digress, this 'cologne' is in a pretty large, surprisingly cute light pink glass bottle, that is shaped in sort of...waves? Its quite simple and sweet, i wont mind displaying this next to my large collection of high enders up on the dresser. ( the body fantasies and smackers must live in shame in the bathroom cabinet however!) The scent is overtly sweet and sugary, oh so cotton candy, i can almost feel that soft, warm spun sugar feeling when i spray it...it has a very feathery feeling to it, not sharp or powdery at all. The initial burst is pure candy, and the dry down is a soft fluffy strawberry bubblegum scent. It is such a fun departure from all the serious, sexy complicated perfumes that we all love. and the staying power!! Unheard of! Ive never had something last so long! Of course my boyfriend actually says 'you smell good!' when i wear my silly scents and never bats an eye at any of my real perfumes. Typical!

This scent is just over the line for me, as in i keep going back to sniff it on my dresser, but the super rich powdered spice that chokes me later in the day is simply to much to handle. I also have a friend who wears this and it doesn't smell good on her. If it doesn't work with your chemistry this scent is very overpowering. However i have ANOTHER friend who wears this sometimes and it smells super sexy. Not for me, but good luck!

Ah Seattle winters, how you torture us! This year i have been trying to figure out how to incorporate oils into my daily routine- and ive had great success! Here is my regimin: Morning- Rinse with warm water ( i am an esthetician, and MY esthetician reccomended i stop washing my face in the morning- which i have and i love it, at first i was scared of course but right away i realized that i was just taking away that lovely lipid balance that my skin makes over night! Apply a light coat of sweet almond oil over entire face. It sinks right in...or should i say my skin sucks it right up! I top it with my Somme double defense moisturizer with spf 30. Evening- I wash with Weleda almond cleansing cream mixed with sugar, when skin is still slightly damp i apply a thick coat of S.A.O all over face and then Weleda almond intensive moisture cream on top. I add vitamin E oil around my eyes and on my lips and im set for bed! Once a week i substitute the s.a.o with a Weleda wild rose capsule- mm nice treat :) My skin is so much smoother and more comfortable since i have began using oils everyday- i used to think it would be a bit too much twice a day but my skin absolutely loves it. I reccomend every skin type to test out different oils and incorporate one or more into their routine! Next on my list to add in is evoo :)

This scent smells exactly like Ralph Lauren Ralph, which all my friends would douse themselves with in highschool. I never owned it because EVERYONE did, so when i smelled this it brought me back to those days, i found that i wanted it for my own at last! This perfume is a little less strong than ralph, making it more appealing as well. It was also on after xmas sale for $15, so why not!? I bought it the same day as Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy! They are both cute fruity scents that are huge departures from my usual scent style. How fun :)

Edit: My boyfriend just informed me that my arm "smells like coffee" not good or bad, just coffee...hmm. I suppose i could see that! oh well, i guess its not a mancatcher scent. My perfume journey started out 6 years ago with philosophy's 'falling in love' blackberry is my all time favorite scent, and i love that perfume deeply. My true signature, but lately i've worn it for so long that i can barely smell it on myself, and we all know the lasting power is crap. Just like most women ive gone through many different phases and new bottles of scents- for the last year i have been trying to find a sophisticated but sexy fruity perfume, i just cant seem to get it right. Finally i have just come to the conclusion that those complex scents just dont bloom very well on me, (betsey johnson, tocca, burberry etc..) even though i love them, my chemistry does not. Now i have been on a search for the fruitiest dark berry scents i can find, ones without a trace of musk or powder...i.e.very young scents! This one most certainly fits the bill, uber sweet and fruity, all plums, cherries, blue and blackberries with a warm vanilla dry down, Very basic, very childish...very Britney! I am happy to smell simple and fruity again, but with a lot more oomph than old F.I.L ever had. Found the big fat bottle at t.j maxx for $25 after a daylong search around seattle. :)

One day while i was shopping in my favorite boutique i spritzed this on my wrist and immediately demanded to have one. I used to think i liked grapefruit scents, and this one was SO bright and intense that i was in love in the store. I was so excited about that fresh summery citrus scent- but i really jumped the gun once i got home. I must have sprayed it 4-5 times that day, because the initial grapefruit fades away quickly and it feels so light that i could hardly smell it! That is until two hours later when my head was pounding and my boyfriend arrived home, he barely stepped in the door before exclaiming about how 'strong' the house and i smelled. Whoops. From then on even the tiniest spritz means migraine city for me, turns out i dont like grapefruit scents- i like just GRAPEFRUIT! Anyone want a nearly unused bottle of this? Lets swap. please, i cant bare to toss it!

EDIT; Had to edit because for the past few days when i wear this i have been getting an insane amount of sharp powder from it initially, i detest powder- so i hope my chemistry is just being wacky right now! I hope it goes back to the good old days....last week!! I had been wanting this EDP for a little while, when i stumbled on it in Fred Meyer for $30, and snatched it right up! I was very excited to open it up because i remembered liking the smell but i couldnt remember WHAT it smelled like! I have been looking for a warm, fruity perfume that wasnt too strong and this fits the bill just perfectly. Its very mellow and dreamy and really seems to mix with the skin nicely. It doesnt have the feeling of just sitting on your skin waiting to fade away after an hour, rather it melds and opens up, softly enveloping you in a gentle aura of peach shcnapps and snickerdoodle cookies. Divine. What a great winter treat!!
