I actually found this stuff moisturizing for my skin but I don't think it lightened it much like the formula promises. Also, I think it started to make my skin break out in tiny bumps a little bit so I stopped using it on my face and I actually started to put the rest on my neck area and arms and it makes a good light moisturizer. I just wouldn't buy again because of how little it does for how much it costs.
Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

As a moisturizer, this is just okay, not very moisturizing I mainly use it as a sunblock for my face and under and over my eyes and I love it for that because almost all sunblock on my face that I've tried is too thick and puts a lightening white veil on my face and this doesn't do that. I've also since found a fantastic sunscreen that doesn't break me out. There are much better moisturizers out there with SPF than this one.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - BareMinerals foundation #2.3 Medium Beige

This foundation has such good coverage and its also very flattering because it has a bit of a glow. My only problem with it is that it caused my skin to break out in these little bumps and they seem to get gradually worse and I had to stop using it even though I really love the way it makes my skin look. I did some research about that and I guess its from the bismuth that is in the foundation that will make people with acne-prone skin break out like that.
Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure

I use this to remove my eye make-up and it is the BEST. I use waterproof mascara and water resistant eyeliner and a lot of both everyday and the oil takes it off no problem and doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Also, I add a little bit of the oil and mix it with aloe and use it as a moisturizer for my body and for my eyes as an eye balm at night and it is really good for that. It works really well as a moisturizer in general and I love that it is just as affordable as makeup remover or other moisturizers but it does such a better job and best of all its natural no chemicals. Also I have acne-prone skin and this doesn't break me out.
Conditioner -TRESemme - Vitamin E Moisture Rich Conditioner
angelixia07 11/13/2009 2:21:00 PM
My hair gets dyed every couple of months and its not in superb shape and this shampoo does help or make it worse I guess. I mean it is called moisture rich and says its made for damaged hair but I find that it is not too moisturizing for a shampoo. The consistency is like a light watery gel and personally I am looking for something creamier. Bottom line-did nothing to moisturize my hair and after I shampoo it feels dry and stripped.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. It's a really pretty warm peachy coral and it looks great on my skin because I am lightly tan and have overall warm skintone. I think if you have warm skintone with a yellow or beige or pink base this will look sooo great on you.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Original Glo Formula

I like this okay but not as much as the intensive formula from this same like. I like that their foundations don't break me out even though I am super acne-prone. I like that they have a good color selection and the shade I found matches me very well. I like that this has more of a glow effect to it not glittery but gives you more of a glow than the intensive, its not matt but I don't like that the coverage isn't as good as the intensive but I guess its buildable.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation - Intensive formula [DISCONTINUED]

I've tried many different mineral foundations and this is by far my favorite. I have super sensitive acne-prone skin and this doesn't break me out. The color I use is winged butter and its the best match for my skin color I've found because I have a strong yellow undertone. The coverage is great and it stays on very well. It is on the matte side but if you have oily skin, it will turn really dewy pretty in like four hours. I've had problems with getting this to have a good finish like it looked spotty in some places but later I found out that it was because I was using too many layers of skincare, which was balling up with the brush strokes and then the makeup settles in the stuff. I was using aha and two moisturizers on top and when I cut down to just the aha and one moisturizer, the finish is amazing, great coverage and doesn't accentuate dryness. If you buff it in really well, you don't need much at all and you get great coverage.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Lipstick in British Red

I like this bright red shade a lot. It's nice and not tacky looking for a drugstore lipstick shade. I like to wear it bright red and apply many layers. It had pretty good stay power too.
This is a heavy duty scrub that exfoliates very deeply. It's dense with scrubbing particles and they're not large and coarse like the St.Ives scrub particles. I usually use this right after I wash my face and dry down some of the water left. I find that it can drag if there isn't enough water on the face but you don't want to thin and water it out. This is one of my HG scrubs, along with Clinique Super Exfoliating Scrub. I use the Clinique one more often because it is cheaper but Modern Friction works better if you're looking for a deeper scrub.
I've used this product on and off for a few years and it's always been great especially when I used to have a lot of acne. I don't right now because I use a really solid acne treatment. When I had a lot of acne and was using proactiv, which didn't really make me acne free twenty four seven but using this twice or even three times a week really did help clear up my skin more. I still use it today to clean out my pores and I feel like right afterwards, my skin feels decongested and looks a bit more radiant. I feel like when my skin is more congested, the mask feels more tingly and strong than it does when you skin is not as bad.
I think this would generally be a good powder foundation for most people that don't get acne but for those with ACNE-PRONE OR SENSITIVE SKIN, STAY AWAY from this powder because it broke me out soooo badly over the month that I used it. My skin was the worst it ever was in my life and it took months of acne treatment to fix and the scarring from it afterwards was terrible.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
angelixia07 11/12/2009 9:17:00 PM
I used this product religiously for years but as I get exposed to more products I realize that this is sort of crappy. The formula is so dry that it is hard to spread on your lids with out tugging, which is bad for the eyes. I have to admit that this makes my shadows creaseless for longer than any other product but the shadows also don't come out as strong as it does with an NYX jumbo pencil, which is dirt cheap. I do have very oily lids by the way but I find myself reaching for my NYX pencils way more often than this. I have had my tube for at least six months now and I use it infrequently but its dried out so much that it is almost not usable. I have a tube of this with a UD book of shadows volume II and I think the formula is different, its runnier and easy to spread and offers the same effect. I don't know if that is a formula they still have but its much better than the dry one I have been buying.
I think this is one of the better drugstore shampoos I've used. The texture is thick and very moisturizing but there are still better ones similarily priced like the Aussie Deep 3 Minute Miracle or the Neutrogena Triple Moisture conditioner.
This stuff really sucks as a conditioner, which is suppose to moisturize and put the life back in your hair. This stuff is too light and watery for my likes of a conditioner and if you want it to condition your hair at all you will have to use at least three pumps on my medium length hair, which is probably more than you are supposed to use but I guess thats what you have to do to get a crappy conditioner to do something at all.
