Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Generic Value Products Hydrating Shampoo (compare to Biolage)

I had used this product for a while until my hair started thinning (which was due to stress). I have since gotten rid of the stress and this shampoo. It didn't tend to really do too much to rid the buildup that the conditioner caused.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
Miaoudeminou 9/27/2010 3:42:00 PM
There is an odd scent to this mascara (a warning to those of you who are sensitive to smells). Over all this mascara is okay. Volume isn't amazing but it gives a little, it doesn't clump my lashes, and it looks nice. I've used others since and this one just doesn't WOW me anymore. I'll use it until I use it up but I think there are better out there.

Hair Styling Tools -Revlon - Perfect Heat ceramic hot air styler
Miaoudeminou 9/26/2010 11:15:00 PM
I will be returning this. I have chin-length hair and this doesn't get hot enough to straighten my wavy hair at all. I guess it'd be good for women who barely have waves or stick straight hair. They could use it to straighten what they already have. I haven't tried this on wet hair so I have no idea how well it'd work.

Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - hair endurance for men
Miaoudeminou 9/20/2010 1:56:00 AM
Once I use this up I will probably not buy it again. It's a decent 2 in 1 but doesn't do anything special. I have not noticed my hair getting thicker at all nor have I noticed any dandruff disappearing. My hair gets oily within a day which doesn't happen with most shampoos.

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - InStyler-Tre Milano brand

If I could give this a 0 I would. I got it for X-mas so I wasn't the one who spent the money on it (thank goodness!) Pros: Can't really thing of any.... looks cool...? : Cons: -Burnt hair and scalp -didn't straighten as well as a flat iron -difficult to use -expensive for such a POS "straightener"

Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Veet's Bladeless Razor hair removal kit
Miaoudeminou 9/20/2010 1:39:00 AM
I've bought it more than once in the past. It's the best hair removal cream I've found. I personally don't like shaving as I have stubble at the end of the day (yes same day I shaved!) This is okay but I'm not going to buy it anymore. The smell's pretty awful too.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength
Miaoudeminou 9/20/2010 1:34:00 AM
It's a decent deodorant. Not HG status but a good daily one. I get the travel sizes 'cause I don't use much and it's cheaper. The only problem is that when clicking this up sometimes the plastic guard comes with. Thus I get it all over the place. 5/20/12 update: I have since discontinued using this and have switched to Degree Clinical.

Other -Sephora - Ratings & Reviews Section

This is a fun store to go into once in a while. The employees however don't really seem to know much about make-up. I do have to say this is better than Ulta. At Ulta the employees treat you horribly. 7/18/12 update: Went into a Sephora looking for a concealer & foundation that'd work (tired of spending money on drugstore products that don't work). First of all I wanted a MUA who know what they were doing. Oh boy did they give me the wrong person. I didn't find out, until she was giving me samples, that she was a SKIN CONSULTANT not a MUA. Yet here they had her doing my make-up the entire time...clueless. Yep she had no idea where to start with me. When I had even recommended trying out MUFE HD concealer she went somewhere else first. I had the MUFE HD foundation caked on my skin because I told her I wanted coverage. I never knew that when a woman wanted coverage she wanted her face looked like it was dipped in the foundation. I wanted natural so she moved on to the Laura Mercier TM. As for concealer she tried the NARS concealer stick first and caked that on. Then when I said that didn't work she finally listened to me and tried the MUFE HD concealer on me. None of it worked. When I looked in the mirror I could see I was wearing make-up but my flaws were showing right through. I didn't know I had two choices with make-up: 1) being a cakey mess but having coverage or 2) looking very natural & glowy but all my flaws showing through. I was disappointed and thought a MUA at Sephora could help me. Then when I had told her I was unsure she badgered me to buy something. I was going to buy the TM but saw it was $45. So I went with the HD concealer but I still hate it. I shouldn't have bought it and it's going asap. Then I'm heading over to the Bobbi Brown counter to see if their corrector can help my under eye area. For the mean time I'm using NYX Stay Matte Not Flat as a foundation but there are spots it doesn't fully cover.

Treatments (Eye) -Boots - Expert Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream
Miaoudeminou 9/19/2010 1:44:00 AM
At first I liked this. Then after using it for a while I noticed it just didn't work. It didn't moisturize, it didn't lighten dark circles, it didn't do anything but just sink in. I'd probably recommend this to tweens, teenagers, and other young ladies that don't really need an eye cream but just want to use one.

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - black tea
Miaoudeminou 9/16/2010 5:10:00 PM
Buy a 100 bag box of black tea and a spray bottle (~$2 USD). Take 10 tea bags, 4cups of water, boil the water, and once the water's at a rolling boil add the tea bags. Let that sit aside to cool. Once it's to room temperature or cool to the touch, pour that into the spray bottle. For the next step you'll want to jump in the shower/tub. Spray the tea all over your body, rub in any droplets (these would cause spots other wise), and let yourself air dry before putting on clothes. Once it dries you see instant results. It gives me a nice glow to my pale skin in the winter but probably won't give you deep tan like a spray/lotion tan will. I do like that this isn't bad for you and doesn't contain chemicals. It was a PIA to upkeep this though and it washes off slowly in the shower. In about a week's time this has obviously faded.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Wear Infinite in "Iced Latte" (like MAC's Coco Beach)
Miaoudeminou 9/8/2010 12:37:00 AM
This is for L'Oreal Wear Infinite Smooth Latte. I love the color and it works great for filling in my brows. I have dark brown eyebrows and the color is perfect for filling in but not being obvious.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Single
Miaoudeminou 9/8/2010 12:17:00 AM
I love these and wish they came out with more colors! The color pay off is great, they last a while ( with a primer underneath), and they blend nicely. I also use one to fill in my brows a little (which they recently discontinued). 9/18/11: They recently changed up all the colors & the packaging for this. I miss the old colors they had. If they were to change these why didn't they just keep the old colors and add the new? I hate when they discontinue good eye shadow colors.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Paradise
Miaoudeminou 9/8/2010 12:08:00 AM
I'm a pale olive skinned gal and I LOVE this one! It glides on nicely, lasts a while, and the smell isn't like that of others (a.k.a a smell that lipsticks shouldn't have).

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Pure White
Miaoudeminou 9/8/2010 12:05:00 AM
This was okay for my waterline at first. I have over the years switched it up. I recently got a L'Oreal pencil that has two ends to it (one's a liner the other is a pale tan for the water line) that works better than this.
