Primer/ Corrector -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless Serum Primer

This went on smoothly and felt similar to Monistat. It didn't act as a primer and did break me out in acne.

I'm in love! I bought this at Sally Beauty Supply Store after reading the reviews of it on their website. I bought mine for $11.89 USD after using my green Sally card. If you have dry skin, wrinkles, redness, uneven tone...etc. This is the night cream for you. I apply this all over my face at night and during the day I add a little to my moisturizer. I have not had a single pimple from this (drug store company night creams give me pizza face). I noticed results after the first use. Results are more obvious the more I use it. I'm 24yrs old and, however sad it sounds, I haven't seen my skin look this great since I was 19! Edit: After using it for about a month or so my skin started to get used to it. I didn't get the same results and I even started to break out!

Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV Lotion SPF 15
rated 2 of 5

Review (10/11/10): I personally didn't notice a smell. I probably won't unless it's obvious and awful. That's me though. I've been using this for about the past week. It's a good moisturizer, a little goes a long way, the bottle can "close"/"lock" shut, and I haven't seen a single pimple. 9/19/11: I have since stopped using this. I had clogged pores like no other and got tired of feeling like it did nothing.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm
rated 1 of 5
Miaoudeminou 10/11/2010 4:07:00 AM

I personally didn't like this. It feels as if I'm getting spit all over my lips. It's that watery. Because of that it didn't feel moisturizing to me. I do have to admit that I like the smell/flavor of it though. I won't buy it again but don't knock it till you try it.

I liked the change from my regular Blistex (dark green tube). I have to say that these don't feel as moisturizing. They go on a bit more waxy (?) than the regular Blistex does. It's still nice but I probably won't be buying them again.

I always have about 3 of these at a time. One for home, one for my purse, and one at work (can't have purse with me). It's about the best out there for the price. Others seem to be oily, sticky, smelly, or taste awful. This one is none of those. I never have problems with dry lips with this lip balm.

Brows -NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder Taupe/Ash
rated 3 of 5
Miaoudeminou 10/11/2010 3:52:00 AM

I got mine in "brunette" (05). I used it for months on end until I found something better. I want a more natural look for my brows so I opted for WNW's brow pencil (which looks like your brows but better). Over all this is one of the best low-priced budget powders you can find. It's good but I felt like it made me look fake (hence the 3)

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Andis Ceramic Flat Iron
rated 4 of 5

This is one of the best straighteners out there. It does not burn my hair like others, in the past, have. I have it set on a little above 10, because of my natural wavy hair, and it comes out stick straight. I love how my hair is silky and not frizzy from this. I love this straightener so much that after my first one broke (looked like it turned on but never heated up), I bought a second. FYI it took my first one about 3yrs to die on me. This does have an issue with the plating coming off. I never cared about it because it fades off and doesn't chip off like others do (I had one that chipped off where the spots where the plating was missing would catch my hair and pull it off my head). For $20 USD you really can't be beat.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Eden

I really tried to like UDPP over the years. This color is nice for the lids but I just don't like how drying the formula is. I have since quit using UDPP and have switched between NYX HD primer & CG.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
rated 3 of 5

I've purchased this twice now. The tube lasts me about 9months to a year. That's not that bad for $18 USD. I just have to say that I never noticed my eyeshadow looking better or lasting longer with this. It's just okay and I bought it twice now because it's better than UDPP.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 3 of 5
Miaoudeminou 10/7/2010 9:54:00 PM

I've bought this once. I tried almost a whole container of it. When a friend wanted to look nice one night I gave it, what little was left, to her. She's really happy with it and I'm happy to be rid of it. It did not work for me because it was drying, my eyeshadow would crease, and I never notice it helping my eyeshadow stay on. It may work for others but I just don't see what's so HG about this product.

Tinted Moisturizer -Sephora - Tinted Moisturizer
rated 1 of 5
Miaoudeminou 10/7/2010 9:49:00 PM

I bought this on clearance for $8 USD (it's originally $18 USD according to the website). I bought it in bronze and I'm happy I didn't pay full price. I'm pretty pale and this was nice for the glow it gave me. It's fine as a liquid bronzer but as a TM it completely fails. This product also looks grainy when coming out of the bottle (like there's bits of something in it..?) It was very sheer and had no coverage at all. I've had better drug store TMs. Also the tube sucks. Right after opening the lid some squirted out without me even trying to get product out of the tube. Yeah I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone. No wonder why it's on clearance!

Pressed Powders -Wet 'n' Wild - Natural Blend
rated 3 of 5
Miaoudeminou 10/7/2010 9:33:00 PM

I bought this because it's cheap. It's about $4 something USD at Walmart. Pros: -Went on smoothly -covered pores -doesn't cake/chalk Cons: -smelled (make-up smells usually don't bother me but this is just so obvious) -in my purse it crumbled to pieces without me dropping it or doing anything that should cause crumbling/breaking -transfers easily I gave it a 3 because it isn't the worst powder I've tried. Our of all the powders I've tried, this one actually had something positive to write about it. The cons were the reason why I rated it so low, gave the package rating a low one, and wouldn't buy again.

Styling Products -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray
rated 2 of 5
Miaoudeminou 9/30/2010 8:55:00 PM

It's an okay hairspray but it doesn't hold hair through humidity. I straighten my hair almost everyday and I'd like something to hold that style. Well this did not hold the style even on a non-humid day. Then one day, between rain storms, I went outside and my hair went completely frizzy on me!

Shampoo -Burt's Bees - Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
Miaoudeminou 9/29/2010 9:37:00 PM

This is a really drying shampoo and takes a lot to suds up. If it weren't for those two major problems then this would be a HG shampoo for me. While I have hair (it's not thin), there's a lack of volume. This gives more volume than I knew what to do with! Just be aware of the downsides to it. I'm sure there are better products for volume out there that don't dry out hair.
