I'm taking this back. This one was no good. Way too metallic and shimmery & not in a good way at all. Can't wear shimmery eyeshadow with it either. Such a waste

Lipstick -Shiseido - Perfect Rouge Lipstick

I picked this up in RD415 and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is so creamy and a little goes a long way. I actually can just use this lipstick with a nude if I don't want to be quite so red, and depending on the proportion I can get any shade of pink or red that I want! It lasts a very long time and wears very nicely even as it comes off. Leaves a nice natural stain. I will repurchase over and over!

Lipstick -Illamasqua - Scandal

Scandal is a bright matte warm pink. It attracts attention. Creamy, pigmented, opaque and a little goes a long way. I really like that I don't notice any scent or flavor to it. Best of all, as it fades, it leaves behind a nice stain that fades into my natural lip color nicely. I always wear it over a lip primer like UD Lip Primer Potion or Guerlain Kiss Kiss Liplift, it allows you to use less product, lips will appear smoother and less will settle in your fine lines. For reference I'm a NC35.

Liquid -Shiseido - The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation SPF 17

YES!! This is my HG foundation. I've tried so many others (Dior, Lancôme, Urban Decay, MAC, NARS, Laura Mercier) and keep coming back to this one. I've bought 6 of them so far. The O60 shade matches my NC35 skin perfectly and isn't too drying or too oily. And my face matches my neck! It's a medium coverage so I use it over a primer & concealer, but it really smoothes things out perfectly. I set it with a powder too, NARS Mountain or Shiseido's O60 powder foundation. Love!

HG concealer! Great coverage but no greasy feel like some other brands I've tried. Buildable and excellent color match. I use the shade 3 medium and have 2 backups.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Golden Frenzy Color Design Palette

This is the eyeshadow palette worn by Kim Kardashian on her "wedding" day. My thoughts of the wedding aside, Kim and I have similar complexions (I'm a NC35) and this palette is just smoldering! This makes such a sexy golden smokey-eye kind of look. The black liner is extremely pigmented and blendable and works PERFECTLY with false lashes or to line your eyes. Be sure to use a primer ahead of time to extend the wear and provide a smooth base for application. The highlight color is really nice, as well. One of the only Lancome products I will rebuy, the other being their Cils Booster XL mascara primer.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

Yuck. Maybe I'm spoiled from my Dior mascara collection of Blackout, Iconic and Extase, but this mascara felt like it was straight from a drugstore. It has a roughness to it when it starts to dry and doesn't allow multiple coats without starting to clump, even if used over Lancome's own mascara base. It has the feel of say, L'oreal Lash Blast. Which is no good when you're going for a dramatic fanned-out, long, doe-eyed look. Save your $25 and put it toward a Dior mascara.

HG blush/bronzer blush!! I have searched high and low and FINALLY found what I believe to be the most fabulous blush brush that money can buy. This brush is shaped just perfectly, doesn't shed a single hair, washes well, and is soft as a feather on my face. Typical for Dior, it is packaged nicely, and the brush just feels like quality. Nice weighting like a nice pen. I can't say enough good about this brush and will buy a backup just in case the dc it!

GIRLS - SAVE YOUR MONEY! This product was a complete rip-off. I bought it 4 months ago and finally got around to opening it up and trying to use it. Well, the active ingredient packets had each individually opened up and oozed all over the inside of their package, AND when I took it back to Sephora, I didn't have to even explain, the SA guessed what was wrong because they had so many come back. Buyer beware - Thank God for Sephora's return policy, because $300 is no small loss.

Beautiful colors, TERRIBLE quality. Even over TFSI or UDPP, they look pretty when you first put them on but the color somehow fades into something awful by the end of the day. It was hard to make the decision to return these, but a nice shadow should maintain its pretty well into the night. Btw I have NON oily lids and UD's shadows stay put beautifully all day over the same primers for me. UD Naked Palette over this, for sure!

Nice colors & packaging in an attempt to disguise the horribly poor quality of the actual makeup itself. Even with skilled application and over TFSI or UDPP, these shadows can look pretty when first applied, but that's where the accolades end. Give it 5 hours, but definitely by 10 hours the colors actually seem to change init an ashy, garish kinda look, leaving your eyes & face looking exhausted and worn down. It was difficult to decide to return this, because it always looks so deceptively good when worn at first, but really...pay attention to the long term. And return it if you decide to, preferably exchanging for UD Naked or 15th Anniversary palette...trust me, UD palettes are high quality and worth the price difference!

My first EA purchase, I was looking for a color to perfectly match the bright pink Shellac nail color I was wearing, and Pink Vibrations was the perfect one! Turned out to be everything I wanted, bright, matte, full coverage, long lasting & satiny. Great staying power...doesn't kiss off on my bf's lips! UD lip primer underneath makes a great base, with EA's 05 Blush lip liner and then the lipstick...perfect with that bright pink Shellac nail color if you crave a bright pink mani that just stands out. Awesome with my brown hair & eyes.

Not as long lasting as Laura Mercier's eyebrow pencil, and too warm toned in color. Not enough product to justify the price of $28. Mine went back.
