I have never found such colour payoff, wonderful texture and unbelievable price in any other brand.Yes,it is mmu so there will be some fallout and it is a loose powder product. But the range of colours is better than Mac and Nars and you have the option to sample.Where else can you do that?! And every month Miss K puts out lovely limited edition collections that are fun to sample and buy.
Just wanted to give a shout out to one of my favorite multi-purpose,cheap beauty products.I actually usually just get the Target brand, unscented aloe wipes b/c they only $1.44 and have the exact same ingredients.I love these for taking my mu off.Especially on nights I do not feel like washing face but don't want to sleep in my mu.I just grab one and head to bed! It will be especially multi-purpose when the baby arrives:)
Treatments (Eye) -Burt's Bees - Radiance Eye Cream with Royal Jelly

This product is so-so.It didn't work wonders for me but it also didn't irritate me either. It slightly brightened but doesn't do enough for the dark circles and puffiness I am experiencing during pregnancy.I try to keep some of my face products in the fridge and this does work better when it's cold(for obvious reasons). I did my frozen peppermint tea bags over my eyes the other day and noticed more of a difference.Sorry B.B.s but I will not repurchase.
Eyes -Aromaleigh - Gel liner - black cherry [DISCONTINUED]

I am soooo in love with this gel liner!!! Let me preface by saying that I have tried several from Mac and none of them have the texture of this.I found that Mac dried out in the pot fast and was not a creamy as Aromaleigh. Not only was I able to tighline with this I was also able to do my waterline and just smudge it into my lashline like a regular eyeliner.I have oily eyelids and this did not leak or smudge.Chocolate Mousse is my favorite colour right now.Just adrk enough but not quite as stark as a black.
I usually like Lush products but this just did not do it for me.Maybe I would like this in the winter when my skin is more dry but as we move into summer and I get more oily this broke me out like nobodys business.I also really didn't feel like it cleaned my face.I am starting to move away from Lush b/c the fragrances they add irritate my skin.Don't forget Lush is not all-natural.They are Mostly natural.I am going to go bar to my tea-tree oil soap that is 3 dollars for the whole bar.
Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
redlipstickbandit 4/25/2009 7:32:00 PM
NOTE: I have tried Jergens but I am reviewing the Target brand. I was recently in Target and saw that they had the store brand for Jergens.I have never had any problems with Target dupes(and I love Daily glow) so I figured I would give it a shot.I like more (if not better b/c of the price!).I am very pale but I figured I would go for the medium b/c I needed some colour and it was perfect.I got a slight touch of colour in a few hours and it wasn't orangey or brown. It just looked like me when I get some some.I will be using this all summer esp. since I am pregnant and don't want to get the "mask".
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Monoi de Tahiti oil
redlipstickbandit 4/23/2009 7:34:00 PM
Let me preface this by saying that I love the scent of Nars Monoi oil and some others that I have tried. But this is absolutely disgusting! Waaay to perfumey.I wound up just buying a huge jar of organic Coconut oil and some gardenia oil to make my own monoi oil.Unless you like old lady perfume I do not reccommend this.
I loove this blush!!! this is the perfect shade of pink with a touch of peach and just the right amount of shimmer.I usually use a fiber optic brush for blush but I do use a more dense brush for this b/c it is a touch sheer for me ( I am NC 20 MAC and a level 2 in AL).I actually prefer this over Orgasm.
Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dr Feelgood
redlipstickbandit 4/23/2009 11:56:00 AM
This is not a product I would use all of the time but I do like it.I am not a fan of most primers as they tend to break me out and this does not.I wouldn't use it in the winter though b/c I do tend to go more dry I don't feel this looks good.I do use it on my t-zone in the summer. For application I let my moisturizer fully sink into my skin and I only apply a very sheer amount.
I love this mascara!!!! I have tried everything from Diorshow to YSL to Givenchy and this is by far my favorite. My lashes aren't super thick but they are not thin either.Same for the length. The colour is a nice glossy black.I hate it when mascaras are dull or look grey.I also like that the texture lends itself to being buildable.I am one of those gals who puts on several layers and this doesn't clump or look funky. And the price is juuust right.
This is my go-to neutral blush.I love that I can use it as a contour shade under my cheeks or just as a neutral, but not washed out colour, for when I do heavier lip/eye mu. Just for reference I am NC 20 in MAC and a level2 in Aromaleigh.
