Eye Shadow -MAC - Carbon

I like this eyeshadow for a lot of reasons. it's absolutely perfect for those of you looking for a basic smokey eye, & lasts a long time. However, do not, I repeat, DO NOT get water in this or it will ruin the eyeshadow. i made this mistake when I first got it, & i regret it. other than that this eyeshadow is great for a variety of reasons. i wouldn't suggest using it as a liner though, because it smudges bad on me every time (I use it everyday actually, & just touch it up every hour or so). it might be because I use an eyeliner underneath that smudges bad too, so i'm going to try fluidline in blacktrack to see how it works. anyway, i suggest this e/s for anyone looking for an eyeshadow to create a basic smokey eye or to line the eyes with (only if you have a good eyeliner underneath). it lasts a long time, so it really isn't a lot of money in the long run. I had maybellines black eyeshadow & spent $12 because I had to re buy it because I had to touch up the eyeshadow so often, even with UDPP as a base. This shadow pwns all others. Also, it is VERY easy to blend & work with, so whoever says it isn't needs makeup lessons or better brushes.

Mascara -Revlon - Beyond Natural Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

I really like this mascara for quite a few reasons. The first is because it both thickens, & lengthens my eyelashes immensely. I have naturally long eyelashes, but they are very thin. When I use this mascara, it instantly lengthens & lifts them up, & not only that, but it also thickens them like *@%#. the only thing I'm not too fond of is that it dries them out a lot, so you may want to put a clear mascara or something over it (some people may not be willing to buy two mascaras for it to work). It does last all day for me though, which I like. I don't like touching up my makeup at all, & this seems to be one of the few makeup products that i don't have to touch up.if you're like me & you're too young to get a job & don't have a whole lot of money, this is a good mascara to consider. It's at least worth a try :)

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

When I heard the rave about this I had to buy it myself to try it. It was the first primer I had ever gotten, & i thought it would be my last. It wasn't bad- I actually loved it. No creasing, brighter eyeshadow, & longer lasting. HOWEVER, the product ran out quickly even after I cut it open! I now use macs paint, & it has lasted me twice as long so far, & i still have only used half of it because you only need a small amount, because it spreads from the oils of your fingers. Saying that, it is cheaper in the long run, A LOT cheaper! Plus I honestly like it just as good as UDPP. Sure, it isn't AS bright, but I can't even notice when I tried using UDPP on one eye & the paint on the other. it's much more worth it to buy the paint rather than UDPP IMO. try macs paint if you're not sure, it will last a long time even if you don't like it as much, so it really is so much more worth it & less expensive.
