I just got this lipstick in a swap after lemming it for like two years and I love it! Totally lives up to the hype. When you first see it in the tube it appears to be a peachy-pink midtone that looks pretty bright. When you apply it to your lips it's a sheer, gorgeous wash of peach and you can really see the green duochrome. Because this is a Glaze it doesn't appear as bright as it is in the tub-which I thought would be a downside, but I actually like the way it looks on the lips. A bit more downplayed but still true to the color. I hope MAC makes this permanent and I definitely plan on buying a backup if I can find it. Definitely a must to add to your collection. For reference I am NC20 and I like to use this with Subculture lipliner.
I can't believe I have owned this polish for almost a year and never tried it! I had swatched it once and thought it was way too sheer. I tried it yesterday and I actually love the sheer consistency. It makes the polish easier to apply and it gives it almost a jelly-like tone. This is a beautiful true orange/red and is such a hot color. This polish does take a bit longer to dry than other Chanel polishes though. I used three coats and finished off with Essie 3-Way Glass. I can't believe I almost swapped this away without even trying it. I love Chanel polishes and would buy this one again.
I got this for $4.00 on clearance at Ulta. I have never tried a CHI polish before but I was drawn to this because I love sparkly taupe polishes! This is a mid-town cool taupe with tiny silver microglitter. This took three coats, but looked exactly the way it did in the bottle. Would buy this again if I could find it and would like to try more CHI polishes.
I picked up this product as it was 75% off at CVS and I love light pink lippies. This is the "Inspired by Carmindy" Brand. I opened up the tube and it was a light bubblegum pink color. I applied this with Lancome Natural Mauve liner, and wow! The lipstick applied very smoothly and is a cream pink with no shimmer. This is nearly identical to VG Gaga, only a tad bit brighter. I actually think I prefer this to VG Gaga. I put a Giorgio Armani light pink gloss over the top of this and received several compliments that day. For the price, and the fact that this is a great dupe, I will buy this again.
I got this at Ulta for $4- I picked it up because it caught my eye as it is a very unique color. I had been eyeing the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter liners and decided I didn't want to spend that much money on a liner I wouldn't wear too often. So I started checking out the NYX liners and this jumped out at me-this is a glitter liner in a red base with red, green, blue, and irridescent glitter. I put this on over TFSI, MAC GreenvBrown Pigment and Springtime Skipper and it popped the Green Brown-somehow the red and the green were picked up perfectly against this liner. I will buy these again-you get more than twice the product you get with MAC liners, and I got a solid line of glitter from one swipe. For the price, you cannot beat the value of these!
I got really excited when I saw this at my local MAC counter, because I didn't know they had made this a part of the permanent line and I had never tried it the first time around. What an unusual color-it's a lime green with beautiful shimmer and it's almost got a bit of gold/brown shot through it. This looks great with a deep brown liner-I wore it under my eyes with a deep smoky brown shimmer on the top lashline and a pop of this in the crease. Really made my brown eyes stand out. I love greens and I am so glad I got this one-I can't wait to try it with some contrasting colors like pinks.
I just got this in a swap and wore it ti work for the first time today. I have deep brown eyes and this really made them pop. This is a medium shimmery green that has an awesome duochrome of gold-I kept looking at myself in the mirror and noticing the gold flashing. I wore this with Swimming in the crease, Oceanique as a highlight and Skipper all over the out 2/3 of the eye. This color is great plus the Veluxe Pearl formula is so buttery and smooth. I hope they bring back this color sometime soon.
Lipstick -Lancome - Le Rouge Absolu - Pink Diamond

I really like this lipstick formula and the color. I got this in a GWP and this is a pretty baby pink with tiny silver sparkles; the color is more on the neutral side but still pink and perfect for my pale complexion. The formula is very creamy and lasts a good four hours on my lips. l usually use this with cooler toned or nude shadows. Would buy this again but I'm sure it will come in another GWP at some point.
Got this at a CCO and loved it in the store. However, when I got it home, I thought, "oh no...way too dark for me." I tried it on with a blush brush over foundation and thought it looked horrible and way too bronzy. However, the second time I used it I picked up a tiny amount with my 187 and swirled it on...and it made my whole face glow and look alive. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I have to say this is my favorite MSF...it's very glowy and just wakes up my whole face. Love this with nude glossy lips and a smoky brown eye. So glad I got this and didn't swap it away before making it work!
Blush -L'Oreal - True Match Superblendable Blush in Baby Blossom

I really like this blush and it is one of the better drugstore blushes I have tried. The size of the blush is nice and the compact isn't bad. This truly is a "blendable" blush and I have found I can get a sheer pink glow with one dusting or build the color up for a bit more of a pop. I also really like the tiny gold shimmer. Very wearable and I would like to try other colors in this line as well.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Metallic Duo - Gilded #806

This is the second duo I have gotten from the HIP line and I am not disappointed. For the cost of this product this rivals any MAC shadow and the quality is just as good. This is a duo with one side that is a true gold. The gold is a bright metallic and the kind of gold I have been looking for-it has that kind of "leaf" metal effect that a lot of other lines' gold shadows don't have. The other half is just as gorgeous but is a deep brown/metallic black shot through with gold glitter. Very glam and dramatic. I would love to pick up a few more of these duos to try them.
Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation

I LOVE this foundation and can't say enough wonderful things about it. Yes, the price is very steep but I believe you get what you pay for. I first tried this a few years ago when I was working at Macy's as an MA and loved it but I never bought it. Last week I remembered it when I was looking for a new foundation and purchased it. This gives amazing light yet even coverage that does not look cakey. This lasts all day on me and I love the creamy texture. No foundation looks as airbrushed or makes my skintone look as even as TI. The compact is beautiful and I would definitely purchase this again once I run out.
This is kind of an 80's blue based mauvey-fushia color. As usual with Chanel the gloss is a high quality and very long-lasting with no scent. This is a sheer pink and has blue tones and teeny bits of glitter in it. On my lips this looks amazing alone and also over a fushia or cool-toned lipstick. As the below reviewing mentioned Chanel has a habit of making very unique gloss colors. I would probably repurchase this again but there so many other fun Chanel colors I haven't tried yet!
Great product with good packaging. This is a pretty, creamy pink/nude blush that looks best on fair skin tons. I use this either with a foundations brush or my fingers and get a lovely, glowy look which usually wears about six hours. I would buy this again and I would also love to try more NARS cream blushes as this is the only one I have tried so far. Again, a wonderful staple light pink blush, definitely worth trying and worth the money.
Whoa, this looks hot! I never even thought about wearing fucshia (I'm really pale and love reds but can't pull them off) and this seems about 10x better with my skintone and is still a lovely, bright color. This has a very slight shimmer, a sheen finish and gives full coverage. I would wear this one with matching lipliner and a lipbrush.
