Lipstick -Aveda - Natural Colour Lipsticks

I bought one called "Kalahari Clay". I'm not sure if it's the Natural Colour line or not... It's a gorgeous deep red/burgundy but not too overpowering for my pale skin. It goes with my new reddish hair. The texture is not bad, but better with a little lip balm as a base. Otherwise, a teeny bit of clumping going on there.

I am smelling it right now. It's one I always go back to because it smells so fresh to me. And yes, preppy. But I don't consider that a bad thing. For me, it's a classic summer scent.

Smelled great on a friend and in the bottle so I bought some...smelled gross on me. Gave me a headache. I have no idea what the "notes" were. Just yuck.

I liked the name, good reason to buy a product, huh? It's ok, probably as an addition to a more intensive treatment. A bit waxy, but smells good. Kinda Aveda-ish; that herbal/spicy smell.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Smooth Hair

I have Frederick Fekkai's book "A year of style" which is full of good advice. So, I thought, ooh. I'll try one of his hair products. Wrong answer. Doesn't do anything the cheaper stuff can't do, and stinks. Has a sour/plastic/apple smell. Bleah. Very disappointing.

I don't normally like Vanilla scents, but this smells good to me. I don't detect any chemical scent like some reviewers mentioned. I love it and plan to get some more for fall this year.

Smells pretty good; a little sweet at first but then nice and yes, very much like fresh laundry. NO lasting power, though.

I thought it smelled kind of old-fashioned, but surprisingly the hub liked it and commented on it. he never comments on the many perfumes i wear. so even though it's not my fave, i would wear it for him, i certainly don't hate it.UPDATE: yes i do. Got rid of it. sorry, honey!

Love these colors; I'm pale and don't want something too overpowering, but I want the colors to be noticeable. This was perfect. The consistency is nice and creamy without being too greasy. i always have trouble opening this, though.

got a small sample size as a gift and wanted to like it, 'cause hey, Chanel! But no. It was too heavy and smelled terrible on me. Headache-inducing.

It's ok; for $10 i didn't think it was really any better than plain old chapstick--UPDATE 1/3/04 I had to revise this review... It does have a nice texture and I keep going back to it, so...my bad! I'll give it some more lippies!
