Cleansers -Aveda - Botanical Kinetics Purifying Creme Cleanser

The only good thing about this product was the pump and nice glass container. It was otherwise a disappointing cleanser that did not clean well or took off my make up well at all. On the plus side, this didn't break me out.
This was a really disappointing lipstick from a high end brand. I was on my way to get MAC's Frekletone lipstick when I walked past this and decided to purchase it in the color Elegant instead. At the counter the color seemed to match and the wear seemed soft and nice. When I got home though, i hated it. It washed out my nc42-ish skin and the feel of this on my lips actualy make me want to bite them off... it annoys me--not itch, not burn, not irritate---just makes me want to pull my lips off my face. it's weird.
Masks -Olay - Daily Facials Deep Cleansing Clay Mask [DISCONTINUED]

Eesh, I had to come here and counter all the positive reviews. This mask itches and burns, is difficult to take off, and does not produce results. I was really looking forward to a radiant, fresh face... just something! Though my skin is slightly more smooth after this, that's as far as it goes. it doesn't calm redness or make my face feel fresh. It felt like a waste of time and money.
I wanted to love this and was very excited to purchase based in the positive reviews and nude attributes. Unfortunately it's too silky.. If that's possible. The color was indeed a pink purple that just didn't really flatter my nc42 skin. Good enough go carry around yes but when I lost it a few days after getting it my heart was not broken
Liquid -Almay - Nearly Naked Touch-Pad liquid makeup

This was an awful, awful product. very greasy, waxy coverage. This was a very strange product all around... i have no idea how almay thought they could make this a hit or fill a niche. I'm pretty sure they've been discontinued.
Foundations -New York Color - Smooth Mineral Pressed Powder Foundation

I was in a rush to find makeup for work after sleeping over at a friend's place. I thought hey it's cheap and I have Evian face mist in my car without expecting much. I'm happy to report that I like it a lot. I used a stippling brush to apply it (didnt even bother with the "kabuki" brush they included) and then I misted some Evian water on my face. I highly reccomend this method, as mineral powders can be very drying and chalky or mask-looking. I have to say theend result is pefect and the color (medium) is nice on my face. I can see this as a stand alone foundation or finishing powder for extra coverage. Under $5 so this stuff is excellent. I'd consider this medium coverage. I wasnt breaking out so this worked great.
I'd buy this again if I can't find anything better. Moisturizers are an after thought for me, usually one disappointment after another. But I actually like this..it was a little high for drugstore brand which is why i hesitated but i needed a new moisturizer and particularly one that had SPF and UV protection. Feels nice on the face, smells good. It's perfect in that it isnt too drying and not shiny and not sticky. The selling point was the "this is good for you provides good benefits to prevent aging" claim, whatever that was. I dont really believe it but i hope it's true
This product is only OK. I'm only 24 so lines haven't popped up yet and I dont have issues with dark circles so for me, this simply moisturized them and kinda poorly at that.. I would have liked to see the dramatic difference the others raved about.
Based on the positive reviews here, I mustered the will to buy the $38 piece of clay at my local sephora. I would never buy this again even though I didn't hate it. It still only deserves one star for unfulfilled promises and difficulty of use (or more it's annoying to apply a product that doesn't event work). I've tried dabbing it onto pimples in hope that it would shrink or something. I tried convincing myself that this product was worth the money but it simply isn't.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

I was very apprehensive about purchasing this product, mostly because I used Revlon Colorstay years ago when it was still the old formula. It wasn't bad then either but it dried way too fast and I'd end up with weird streaks from applying it in a hurry. Recently, I got this in the comb/oily skin formula. I don't apply it with my fingers or even a foundation brush in fear that the formula will again dry too quickly. Instead, I have one of those beauty sponges and I dampen the whole thing first, squeeze it out, and then add the Colorstay foundation and dab it all over. I get absolutely perfect coverage. I'm very impressed and I'm happy I got it. Unfortunately, I think Revlon is really lacking in the shades department. They need more natural colors for olive/yellowish toned skin. The shade I selected is perfect at first but as the day goes on it seems ever so slightly too dark. I don't mind it that much though. as with most drugstore makeup, the color is really brown/gray. wish it was more golden/yellow :)
Like most people, I really wanted to love this product and I was very, very excited to get it. The pictures online, the swatches that are out there--all look pretty neutral and wearable. In real life, however, it does get very dusty but I didn't mind that aspect of it as much. My problem with the blushes (all of them) is how fake they look in natural light. I'd do my makeup and get in the car (where you REALLY get to see your flaws and make up color in all its glory...) and it looked awful... I wont be purchasing again but I would still like to mix this up with something else and make it work for me. Short story: great colors, but not for a natural look. For clubbing or the runway, maybe!
Yikes, this is one of the ineffective products I've ever tried. It didn't do anything for my face at all, I used it consistently for weeks but the results were as if I had put nothing on my face at all. The gel consistency might be liked by others, but it didnt do anything for me. At least it smelled good. I was extremely disappointed by this!
At first I loved this lipstick. The shade is still to die for, if not just a wee bit TOO pink. There is glitter in the formula so the application is a little grainy. I didn't notice this when I first tried it on, otherwise I would not have purchased. It also melts easily. Sadly, all MAC lipsticks tend to do this to me. For a product of this caliber, you'd think MAC would have found a way to make their lipsticks solid enough to not break and melt so easily.. it does smell like cake batter!
LOVE this lipstick and the color... Mostly! It truly is the perfect nude lipstick. Here's what I don't like about it: *It melts way too easily--as in, in your pocket or when left in the car in the summer. *Also, all formulas are not created equally...some Frekletones are more or less brown than others *The caps don't seem to stay on that well. It's OK, but prone to opening by themselves in your purse
Quality = Nice. Smell = Like your old high school teacher with the beehive hair, blue eye shadow, hot pink lipstick, and cheap perfume. If that image comes to mind and you know what I'm talking about then it's a NO on this one, eh? I was SO excited to get this and had hoped it would live up to the hype. No one mentioned the awful smell.
