Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen Mascara Blackest Black

I like this mascara. I think one really good coat while its wet is the best application. I have had some clumping issues when trying to do 2-3 coats so taking the time to make the first application go on well pays off. It gives long dark lashes. Not fake looking but definitely enhanced and very black. It holds curl really well all day and is super easy to take off. Leaves my lashes feeling soft and not crunchy.
I didn't like this color when I first saw it because I saw someone on youtube use and it looked terrible...way too purple! I was browsing around and picked it up, swatched it on my hand and loved the color..I was surprised to see it was this color! I tried it on and that sealed the deal...this does not look purple on me at all since I have pretty pigmneted lips it looks more pink or mauvey...but I live how pigmented it is, a very good contrast for fair skin!
Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black

So, I gave in to this product though I am a long time liquid eyeliner user. The first time I tried to use the brush it came with I immediately regretted my purchase...its like using a broom! Why the heck is it so thick n hard??? Anyway, I tried it with my ecotools liner brush and WHOA what a huge difference. Looked great, stayed in place a little too well since I have issues removing it even with oils...but I still like it and will continue to purchase it.
I really like this brush, it is so soft I just like touching it! I use it for all over setting powder as well but I do wish it were denser in order to help it buff more but I still really like it and would buy again.
This brush is okay. It is very soft but when I first got it has a weird plasticky feeling to the bristles that took a few washes to get rid of. I know its synthetic but I have other synthetic brushes and they never felt like that. This does well for blush but it is kinda flimsy so I don't know that its a necessity in my brush collection.
This is by far the best item I purchased from elf. The other brushes are good quality but this applies liquid foundation well and even makes powder look good over my skin on days I don't feel like wearing full foundation. It buffs on blush and is extremely versatile, not to mention soft on the skin but dense enough to buff. I love it.
This was the main display when I walked into BBW and they had a oil burner going as well...it smelled so...ugh!! Like baby powderish and heavy florals. It was NOT what I was expecting after hearing people say they liked it. I wouldn't buy this scent in anything.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

This curler is pretty good. It does take some getting used since you have to use more pressure than most curlers but it does the job and I don't feel like I am going to catch any lashes with this.
Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Face Powder

This is really good for coverage and setting when you don't have a lot of time. I have dry skin and it doesn't cake up or settle into lines. A good cheap staple.
So, I first bought this after reading about it on here. I have dry sensitive skin and usually use Oil of Olay but was curious. I bought this when I was having no issue with my skin so it didn't really...DO anything that impressed me. Fast forward about 5 months later when I was dealing with irritated skin, which I get on the sides of my nose/cheek area sometimes. Oil of Olay was more irritating than helpeful so I used this and the yogurt mask and within a day or two my skin was back to normal. This is VERY soothing and more moisturizing than I originally thought. glad I have a huge tub of it.
My biggest issue with this is the packaging, you have to twist and wait for it to travel up the plastic applicator...too time consuming. I feel like I have to use too much product to cover decently and my undereye circles aren't crazy dark either. I ended up getting the Bobbi Brown one which I much prefer and returning this.
Seriously...this is the most disgusting smelling hair product I have ever used..it smells like those pincher bugs that give off a scent when you squish them..they couldn't add SOMETHING of a scent to it??? It lingers too so I would never buy this for that, also I live in a humid area and my hair DID frizz up so...neh
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Superior Preference Hair Colour
IdetteB 8/21/2009 5:19:00 PM
THIS MAKES MY HAIR FALL OUT!!! I don't know what it is this particular formula has but I have tried it twice in my life and never again...both times it made WAY too much hair come out when being washed and I already have thinnish hair...I'd like to keep most of it. I have been dying my hair for years and even with other L'oreal brands and this is the only one I have had this issue with. Too harsh...no color is worth it.
This also reminds me of Carolina Herrera which I love so I really like it. Its also pretty affordable compared to most fragrances.

I've used this for years. I stray now and then when something new peaks my interest but I always come back to this because I know it works. My skin feels smooth and hydrated when I use this and I love the scent! I will always buy this product.
