Makeup Brushes -Alima - Foundation Brush 25

I have 2 MAC 187s and the EM Flat Head brush so I didn't think I needed this. When the EM brush fell apart after washing one day I ordered Alima's 25 and will never look back. Another rave for how soft this brush is and how it improves application. I've tried it with MMU and liquid with flawless results.

Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Lip Color - Uber Pink

I have tan skin with somewhat pigmented lips. This is a soft pink with shine on me. Unique moisturizing formula. Don't let the "creamy" fool you, this doesn't slip off your lips. It goes on smooth and stays well. I do notice the stick of color starts to build up around the tube. I have to clean it up well. It shows what a thick product this is. I usually wear more MLBB colors but when I wear pinks or pastels I always reach for this.

Lip Treatments -Smashbox - Tinted Lip Treatment in Beam

Most moisturizing lipsticks just slide off my lips within 30 minutes but this one holds up much longer. The color is pretty sheer, just a MLBB with a hint of shine. I pair it with MUFE's Aqua Lips Lipliner in 2C for more pigment. The only thing I don't like is as the tube wears down you are left with much more moisturizing center than color. I alternate this with Tarte's Inside Out Vitamin Lipstick in Sweet Dreams which is another one to try if Beam doesn't work for you. UPDATE: I love the color but it's too drying on me.

I've been wearing this for years and never reviewed it. Last night 2 women stopped me in Nordstrom to ask me what I was wearing (about 10 hours after I applied it) and said it didn't smell that good on them! So I know it works for me. It's so popular it's sickening but it's still a summer staple for me. It's fresh and clean and very long lasting. The large bottle could have a hand friendlier design. I try to save a few bucks with Scentiments or ScentMonkey which both have decent deals.

Blush -Cargo - Rome

For tan skin, this is a beautiful blush. Really brightens up my face and makes me looks like I just returned from a tropical vacation! Doesn't show as orangey or shimmery on my skin. Just a pop of peach on my cheeks. Goes well with Cargo SuedeBlush in Gold Coast used as a highlighter. I like the Cargo tins, they are easy and last forever. UPDATE: I prefer Cargo SuedeBlush in Gold Coast for my skin tone.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Mascara - Blackest Black

I thought this would be a nice alternative to Maybelline's Full 'N Soft but it was just a mess for me. The brush was is too big with large spaces causing the product to get all goopy. Wiping the wand is a smeary disaster. I got natural looking lashes with no clumping but a lot of flaking. Also, did not hold a curl at all. Was $8.19 at Walmart, high for drugstore mascara.

Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

This did nothing for me. I was looking for something to keep my nose matte in the summer. This didn't absorb or prevent shine at all. It was hard to use the small container plus some powder gets wasted when it just puffs up in the air. It was pretty much like applying a cloud of air.

Got this in Soft Peach. This is a gloss and not conditioning to me. It's a lovely peach color and not too sticky. Over-priced. I hate the tube and the process of getting the gloss out.

Shampoo -Oscar Blandi - Pronto Dry Shampoo

I've always used spray dry shampoos, afraid of the powder mess but now I'm hooked on this. I bought the small travel size since it's something I will only use on a really, really bad dirty day. lol It's actually pretty easy to apply the powder from the little tip and it doesn't leave a white residue. The smell is really nice. It soaks up oil and at the very least leaves your hair clean smelling.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Naturale

I love original Voluminous and Maybelline's Full 'N Soft and was thinking this would be a decent hybrid. Not exactly but I still like it a lot. It doesn't give much volume like Voluminous but it lengthens and holds a curl really, really well. It's not as soft looking as FNS because the lengthening steers it away from a natural look. No issues with flaking and separating is good as long as I don't wiggle the brush. This is one mascara where it's best to apply just straight up. I adore the yellow sunshine tube. Misleading name, good mascara though.

I've gone through a lot of leave-in products. I have very long, very thick hair and really need detangling and moisture. My hairdresser suggested this and I'm glad she did. I much prefer the spray rather than creams. This allows me to cover all my hair evenly instead of having to comb through over and over to spread a cream. This product works very well to detangle and keep my ends from damage between trims. It never feels heavy or greasy-even when I over-spray. Cute little bottle for the vanity table. My hair salon always has a 20% coupon so I pay about $16.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Clear Mascara

I use this as an eyebrow gel only. It's such an easy way to save some money. I was using Anastasia's clear brow gel but have no problems downgrading here. Very simply, holds brows in place. Slightly sticky or wet look if I use too much. I only find it in a curved brush, a straight brush would be better.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Differin Gel

I've been using Differin almost nightly for about 4 months with excellent results. I love how it comes, clear and odorless in a neat tube. It's a gel but not sticky so I can smooth it on my face and it's comfortable to sleep in plus it's invisible. It is very gentle. Does not dry my skin or make it peel at all. For me, it treats better than Benzoyl Peroxide and clears pores better than AHA/BHA. I'm noticing fading of my scars too. I did not experience any purging. I hope it will be an effective anti-aging gel as time goes on. I've been purchasing from InHouse Pharmacy for much cheaper than my insurance co-pay.

Where have you been all my life? This is the perfect cleanser for me. Attractive bottle with makes my life easier pump. Gentle ingredients. Thoroughly removes make-up and cleanses my skin. It may be drying for some, but I'm super oily so this is not a concern for me. Rinses away completely. I'm very sensitive but have not had any problems with irritation or break outs. I'm thrilled to have found this and will certainly re-purchase.
