Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles

I am in the minority but I really adore the sponge applicator for dotting on my circles! This product is a great value; effective, lasts 6 hours, and a nice combination of brightening and concealing. I use the Medium shade on my NC30/C4 skin (I use the Sandy Beige 220 shade in the Instant Rewind foundation) and it is a good match. The texture is slightly fluffy and finishes satiny, but a touch powdery too, which is why it I took off 1 lippie, along with the satisfactory, not impressive, lasting power, but that's acceptable IMO for a $7 prouduct. Other than that, it is a great good DS buy!
Such a beautiful formula and #2 is a very light, hint of peach on my NC30/C4 light tan skin. The pigmentation is lovely, so when I refer to light, I mean the shade and the weight. It is a light-toned soft pinky peach that is weightless and not powdery. It is very finely milled and endless layers can be applied. It does a nice job mellowing the red in my cheeks and leaves a very soft color, does not look like blush at all. I actually like using this as a blending cheek color when I use other blushes, since it reduces my slightly red cheeks and softens the powderiness of other products. On its own, it is very "no makeup- makeup" on my complexion.

Very impressed! Maybelline foundations are becoming a surprising go-to for me and my NC30/C4 light tan asian skin. I purchased in shade 220 and use the sponge tip to dot and a sephora airbrush pro 55/beautyblender/fingers to blend. The brush is my preference but they all work fine. It's a light creamy fluffy formula, kinda like thicker cool whip if that makes sense. Medium coverage, perfectly satin finish on my combo skin and the best part is it lasts an 8 hour work day with zero shine, I was so shocked! Lightweight, medium coverage, good color match, comfortable, and incredible staying power. Love it!
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

So glad and lucky to get this mini rose balm from Sephora for my bday. On my pigmented NC30/C4 light tan asian lips, it is the perfect no-makeup but nice look. Just a hint of pink, not too bubblegum and not too red. It really is just a perfect natural pink that evens out my lips. And I love the emollience of this product; it has good moisture quality, slip, and doesn't build up weird lip gunk throughout the day. I will absolutely purchase the full size. The lil guy has lasted me about 2 months of on/off use, but it is always in my purse!
I can't believe how good this foundation is for me. I am combination dry with an oily T-zone, light tan Asian gal (NC30/C4). I picked up Fit Me in 220 and apply with a beautyblender. Amazingly natural satin finish with light medium coverage. It is like a much much better MAC F&B formula with a touch more coverage and less oil. I set with Nars or MUFE HD loose powder. The shine that happens 3 hours later is natural and pretty, not greasy, so while I powder every few hours, it is not greasy feeling at all. It lasts for 6 hours so not the best long wearing formula, but it's so comfortable on the skin and I just touch up with concealer if I need to go out after work. If you have a similar skin type as me, I really recommend trying this formula. I was so surprised.
Pretty fantastically black and stay-all-dang-day eye liner on my creaseless Asian lids, easily washing off at night. The wand is tricky though with zero bend and requires practice. I am glad I tried but my next purchase will be picking up my trusty Stila Stay All Day Waterproof liquid liner pen again; it has a more flexible tip making it much easier to use and lasts just as long.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

Very pigmented and smooth and extremely black, all great things! However, this transfers too easily and smudges within a couple hours on my creaseless Asian lids. It's not Blacktrack's fault; my monolids just require 100% bulletproof liner and sadly this is not it. With so many DS gel liner options now, since the MAC "pricier" version smudges anyway, I'd save my money and buy DS dupes. Won't repurchase.
Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professionnel Platinum Air Brush #55

The first time I tried this brush I didn't get it and returned it; it felt too floppy and my foundation didn't look that great. Well, I just repurchased it after an Sephora MUA used it on me and I finally understood how to use it correctly! I dab foundation on my cheeks and T zone or I dip the brush into a little bit of product and ever-ever-ever so lightly swirl the brush on the surface of my skin and swirl and swirl away until my skin truly looks air-brushed. Takes a bit of practice to get the correct pressure but once you do, it is an amazing tool for liquid foundation and buffs product into flawless perfection. Softest bristles ever. Love it and glad I finally learned to use it properly!
A great, subtle color on my light tan Asian NC30 lids. As a monolid / creaseless eyed lady, this shade is that perfect natural slightly warm taupe for slight contour on the outer edges of my eyes to add depth. I already had Cork so was doubtful when the MUA suggested this shade too, but it is cooler and less brown and actually quite different. It is great to add a little drama to neutral eye looks! I will use this a lot.
I am SO happy the MUA tried this on me. It is the perfect (corny, but I am going to go there...) Victoria's Secret blushing shiny pink on my pigmented NC30 light tan Asian lips! I have seriously been looking for this color in a lipstick forever. I can't believe I just found it now. It's just really the perfect, shiny, lightly shimmery, opaque warm natural but noticeable pink lipstick. It's a little too pinky for work, but PERFECT for parties and just feeling a little zexy.
Liquid -Guerlain - 'Lingerie de Peau' Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation

Without exaggeration, the most beautiful foundation I own. It gives me a flawless and poreless complexion and looks 100% natural with a satin finish. I have combination dry skin and am a light tan Asian C4/NC30 (more neutral) and purchased in Beige Naturel 03. My preferred tool is the Sephora Pro Airbrush #55, but beautyblender and fingers work fine too. I just can't believe how nice my skin looks and it lasts at least 4 hours before any shine appears and lasts for 8 before I feel I need to reapply powder foundation or concealer. It feels soft and comfortable on my skin, a first!! Most foundations feel too drying on my cheeks or too oily in my T-zone. It's an HG! Hoorah!
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Un-petroleum Multi-Purpose Jelly

Great, inexpensive multipurpose ointment I use daily on my hands and lips and on my combination-dry face as a night time moisture boost in the winter. Slightly greasier and does not absorb as quickly as Aquaphor but the moisturizing quality is just as effective. At night I use a dime size blob for my hands before bed and pat whatever is left on my face, on top of my nighttime moisturizers (Renova and Shiseido night cream) in the winter. It really seals in the other products and I awake with soft hydrated skin. Very satisfied with this $6 product!
I fell for the marketing and spent an ungodly $59 on Luminous Silk. I am a NC30 / C4 combo-dry light tan Asian and purchased this foundation in 5.5, a great match that slightly warms my skin. I hate to say it but it is almost worth the money. It is a really special formula and a very pretty foundation on the skin. It lasts the longest of any foundation I've used, even Revlon Colorstay. One pump is enough for medium coverage and I use the Armani blender blush to apply. Super light, pigmented, dries to a satiny natural finish with zero transfer and my skin feels moisturized all day. I only needed one pat of powder on my nose after 8 hours. I'm glad I tried it!
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair (Serum)

So sad my skin did not react well to this product. As a light-tan Asian woman with combination-dry skin, my skin absorbed this product well. The packaging is great, the texture is smooth and it sinks right in, leaving a dewy finish. I applied nightly for a week before my skin texture changed for the worse. It felt minutely bumpy all over, even though it wasn't visibly bumpy. By 10 days, the bumps were now visible and also accompanied by dry skin, and small milia around my laughlines and forehead. I immediately stopped the serum (the only new product in my regimen) and returned to Shiseido moisturizer for 7 days and my skin is now back to normal. Had to return Advanced Night Repair, boo.
This is a great, flushed pink blush on my NC30/C4 light tan asian complexion. It's reddish pink with brown undertones and I was worried it would enhance my broken capillaries, but instead of increasing redness (which happens with Mocha), it actually works with it and simply creates a nice pinky cheek. It looks extremely natural, like I just came in from the cold, and works with every lippie and has a fab texture. Very smooth with no powdery finish, sinks right into my skin and feels satiny. A new HG blush.
