Lip Gloss -MAC - Silly Girl
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 6/9/2007 6:24:00 AM

Silly Girl is like many people said, orange frosting in color. However, when applied on, it's a very very light orange with tons of glitter/shimmer to it... the orange doesn't really show up if you have pigmented lips... more like just a peachy color. It's also very shiny (not just due to the glitter). It doesn't look so pretty in the tube but once you try it on, you'll probably like it better than Elaborate. I wanted to get Elaborate but since I already have Wildly Lush in the Plushglass collection and they're sort of similar in color minus the glitter, I decided to get something different, which is this one. I also figure this color would match summer for the upcoming months. For $14, it's worth it to me because all I've been buying are their Plushglass collection. I don't exactly feel the grainy feeling of the glitters but they do get everywhere on my lips if I try wiping it off. The texture isn't as sticky as the Plushglass collection. I would recommend it to anyone that wears a lot of brown, white, peach, etc.

Fragrances -Juicy Couture - Fragrance

I remember back when it first came out, I wasn't fond of this perfume. I thought to myself how can this perfume sell at all? However, I recently went over the counter again after seeing how cute the bottle was and I decided to go get it for sure. I've been loving this stuff... I miss it when it wears out after about 5 hours or longer. I don't smell the fruits in this but I do smell a lot of flowers. It's a strong flower scent initially... then it drys down to a sweet woody scent where the flower scent still lingers a bit. The type of smell I'm referring to reminds me of elegance (not the old lady kind). I'm glad I gave this perfume a try or else I would've missed out. The bottle is beautiful... the best thing about it is the cap... it's huge and it comes with a necklace wrapped around it haha. I think it was the bottle of the 1 oz that caught my attention... but the 1.7-3.4oz bottles aren't bad at all. If you like a flowery scented perfume that lasts for a pretty long time, give Juicy Couture a try.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Plushglass in Full For You
rated 3 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 1/21/2007 7:03:00 AM

I was just browsing around in the counter and after a long customer service... I finally decided to grab this before I leave to show courtesy. Full for You is a pinkish color with silver pearl glitter. It has a sponge applicator and looks just like any other MAC lipglosses that's in a tube. It has sort of a Play-Doh smell to it mixed with something sour... it's not that strong though to that's good. It cost $17.50... which was a lot to me for a MAC product that doesn't even give me that much color on my lips. It's supposed to plump the lips a bit but I think it only makes the lips look and feel bigger since it's shiny smooth all around the lips creating an illusion. It also gives a small tingling sensation for a short while. In the tube... it looks really nice... a sort of bright magenta pink look. However, on the lips, it's mostly just shiny and has lots of glitter but with a tint of berry color. I like it mainly because it's very wet and its shiny look and it's not heavy and thick like some lipglosses. However, for $17.50 I would expect a lot more out of this lipgloss. I got it out of courtesy anyway so I shouldn't expect so much. I wouldn't repurchase this color again... maybe I'll try out other colors but I highly doubt they would come out the color it shows on the tube. I would only recommend this gloss to people that would want a sheer berry color gloss with above average shine and glitter. I'm sure you can find another color similar to this one or better from MAC or even other brands.

Blush -Biotherm - Blush! Smooth powder blush
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/31/2006 6:46:00 AM

I got this in 20, which is a pinkish/nudish color. At first I thought it would show up too much on my fair skin... but it turned out very pretty. I used a nude color lipstick with the blush and wow... it looked great! On my face it looks pinkish/nudish... just right so that it contours my cheekbones. It's very easy to apply since it goes on smoothly and the texture looks smooth as well on my face. It doesn't dry up my face or make it look cakey like how my other MAC blush did. I can adjust how dark I want it since it's very pigmented. The packaging is average. There's a mirror and a brush in the half metal half plastic case... but I find the blush sort of low quality. The case also looks a bit cheap and the metal part scratches easily in my makeup pouch. The mirror's a bit too small (I loved Lancome's Blush Subtil's mirror and brush). The only drawback about this blush itself is that it doesn't really last long... decent enough though. I would receommend this blush to people who wants a nude lip look to match with and something that really does contour the cheeks.

Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge Sensation (all shades)
rated 3 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/20/2006 4:27:00 AM

I got this in Exposed... it's a peachy with a slight pink nude color. It goes on pretty on me since I've been wanting to have that nude lips dark eye makeup look for awhile but never found the right color that doesn't make me look washed out or a ghost. This color does that right... since it's not completely skin color. However... the problem I have with this lipstick in general is that the formula is pretty drying. The night before my lips were in healthy shape... but after I used this product, my lips began to peel and went dry on me. This color wasn't long lasting at all (maybe because it's a nude color). I would repurchase since this color is very pretty... but I don't like the feel of it. The smell is sort of like roses but it gets annoying after awhile. It's bearable though. I would recommend this shade for people that likes that nude-ish lips look and if you feel that it's too drying, just add a bit of gloss to it.

Blush -MAC - Satin Blush - Well Dressed
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/13/2006 3:58:00 AM

My boyfriend doesn't like me using brownish/peach blush so he recommended me getting really light pink because I'm pretty pink naturally on the cheeks. My skincolor isn't like pale like crazy... just light enough to be considered very light with pink cheeks haha. I've tried on different shades of light pink at the MAC counter and some were just too dark on me... I literally look socked up. Well Dressed suits me just right I believe. My boyfriend immediately picked this one out and bought it for me. It seems to match with must lip color since it doesn't look like a generic color blush. It gives me a pretty natural glowing pink haha. I would most likely repurchase or try out some more colors. The only drawback I see is that the blush might not stay on long enough. It's still on my face after a few hours but it seemed to blended out more and looks lighter. I would recommend this color for people that wants a natural blush that doesn't look socked up.

Lip Gloss -C.O. Bigelow - Ultra Mentha Lip Shine
rated 4 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/12/2006 6:03:00 AM

This is the bright green tube No. 1122. This is supposed to be more minty and probably should tingle more. The tingling lasts probably around 15 minutues or so. I haven't tried the normal Mentha Lip Shine No. 502 so I'm not sure how much more mintier is this one but I have the tint one so I can compare those two. This lipgloss is just like the other ones in the line... it tastes sweet and smells like mint. I love how the gloss is easy to apply since the texture is pretty smooth and not all gooey. The packaging is like a normal tubed lipgloss but in general these glosses have a pretty unique packaging I would say. I would recommend these glosses to people who love minty glosses that moisturizes pretty well.

Lip Gloss -C.O. Bigelow - Mentha Lip Tint No 1137
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/12/2006 2:03:00 AM

This lip gloss is slightly tinted pink in the tube, but when applied on the lips, it's invisible. The texture is smooth and easy to apply. It's a very shiny lipgloss that tingles for about half an hour because of the peppermint ingredient. It smells like mint and tastes sweet haha. It does moisturize my lips and the packaging is just like any other lip gloss except that I find it more interesting because it's plain and simple yet catchy. I would recommend it for people that likes minty lip glosses.

Mascara -Lancome - Flextencils
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/8/2006 3:51:00 AM

This mascara is the BEST one I personally have ever used! It curls my eyelashes more than any other ones I've tried and it puts volume in it. (I'm not sure about the results if you don't curl your eyelashes with it because I usually curl it so that's the effect I got). My eyes look very pretty and I look wide awake. When looking at my lashes from the side... it looks full and lenghty and also very curly. The claim of this product doesn't lie! It does give a very nice curl and like I said, works great with eyelash curlers personally. I would definitely repurchase since it gives me volume, lenght, and curl!

Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Lipstick- Tiger Eye
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/3/2006 6:47:00 PM

I got this as a gift from Estee Lauder. I usually wouldn't try out this color, but I was looking for a color that has a more orange/bronze tone to it to match with my peachy blush. This looks faboulous with Estee Lauder's Tender Blush in True Sand. I got a few compliments from people whenever I use them together. I like the color itself a lot. It's sort of bronze with a bit of orange. I know it would look great on people that have blonde hair. It still looks great on brunettes. It glides on easily and doesn't dry up my lips. I would recommend this to someone that wants more of a bronze color type of makeup. It would look great on anyone.

Eyeliner -Victoria's Secret - Liquid Liner Pen
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/3/2006 6:17:00 AM

This is a Liquid Liner Pen. I got it in Bittersweet... stupid lady got me the wrong one. I wanted the one that's black, but this color also looks black too so I really don't know the difference 'til I go see it in person again. Anyway, I really like this eyeliner because it's easier to apply than other ones that I've tried. I like how it's like a pen. It always lasts me for a long time and not crazy adhesive when I do want to get it off. It's not waterproof which I like. I personally never tried doing the cat-eye look but I do see the potential of it doing just that. I like how the pen feature just doesn't smear everywhere if you apply too much. The only drawback I would say is that sometimes the color doesn't come out 'til I sort of shake it but don't shake too much because the liquid would get out via the holes on the side like a marker. If you want an easy application eyeliner then get this one.

Lips -Sally Hansen - Sally Hansen Thin Lip Collagen Boost
rated 5 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 12/1/2006 2:15:00 AM

The packaging of this lip treatment is a tube with golden trimming haha (not sure why they use the color gold). The color looks baby milky pinkish on the outside, but when you actually apply on the lips, it turns invisible when smudged. This product promises to give fuller lips (volume). So far, it does moisturize my lips well and my lips does look a but fuller because it moisturizes the rims of my lips as well. The smell comes out at first like coconut, but after about a minute, it smells like nothing. It's not glossy at all, which is good because I don't think that lip treatments should be glossy personally. The texture is not sticky... it's pretty smooth altogether. I'm going to try this out for awhile and see if it fulfills my needs of making my lips fuller since my lips are so thin due to me biting on them all the time. Edit: It does make my bottom lips look fuller when I'm using it, which is amazing. Something I might complain about is that it doesn't moisture my lips for long.

Fragrances -Aquolina - Pink Sugar
rated 4 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 11/9/2006 2:57:00 AM

Aquollina's Pink Sugar says it all in the title. it smells very sweet reminding you of pink cotton candy. At first i didn't like it, but my mom bought it so I started trying it. I liked it ever since. It smells really much like Britney Spear's Fantasy as a lot of people noticed too. Fantasy has a more woody smell to it but Pink Sugar is mainly sweet. After awhile it starts smelling like vanilla ice cream to me and I seriously started feeling hungry for dessert! I like the base notes better since the top notes does smell a bit generic. the dry down smells better like vanilla. I can't stop wearing it because I want to smell yummy! The packaging is also very cute! It's a tube of pink and yellow stripes. The bottle is okay... just a tube with pink stripes on it. The staying power is pretty average. It smells a bit strong at first but later on I only could smell it. If you like sweet sweet perfumes with a vanilla-ish smell to it then go for it!

Lipstick -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy perfect lipstick
rated 4 of 5
xMzxPrEcIoUsx 10/24/2006 3:08:00 AM

I got this in Shh... and it's a like a peachy-orangy color. It's not orangy like one but more towards the peachy side. This color looks nice with a light tannish blush and blonde haircolor it seems haha. I love the packaging of the Very Sexy Perfect Lipstick line. It looks very sophisticated in black and the words "very sexy" on the tube. It's pretty little also so it's good to just toss in the purse. I would repurchase on this color or if there's other colors I see later on then i would buy it again. My mom also got one called "Light It Up." That one has more of a sparkling effect with pretty big glitters in it.
