This is a great, gentle cleanser with vitamin C. It is however very runny and doens't foam much so you need more than you think. Then again, its $6 a bottle so I would definitely give this a go if you are looking to introduce vit C into your regime. Doesn't remove make up but apart from that, its pretty good. I struggle to believe that vit c deposited from a cleanser can make a difference but some is better than none and given its all natural, you cant go wrong. Mild non-offensive fragrance.
This is basically a solid cleansing oil which leaves residue so must be followed by another cleanser. I love the feel of this product but this is a complete rip off and the tube doesn't last very long. It is great for dry skins and completely removes all product. It spreads well, emulsifies nicely with water and feels incredibly smooth. I use this for heavy eye makeup and removes everything. LIke I said though, it is very expensive for a makeup remover so I would not repurchase. It is very gentle and gives something back to the skin when traditional makeup removers can be stripping. I will still stick with buying cheaper asian style cleansing oils since they do the same but at a third of the price. One lippie off for the price, otherwise a 5 star product.
This is a nicely formulated product but did nothing for me. The level of exfoliation from a chemical perspective is very mild. From a physical perspective it is virtually nil as the concentration of particles is so incredibly low. The price is high but it is nicely formulated in that you can leave it on for a long time, dries softly with no irritation whatsoever. Does not leave any burning sensation but nicely hydrated. I would recommend this to dry, very sensitive skin types. Apart from that, this was nothing but a feel good product and a rather expensive one at that.

These are not particularly strong and no way could this have a peel effect. These are more like toner pads with some fruit acids. I would say that this is overpriced for what it is. It is on par with the MD Skincare alpha beta peel which is a complete rip off so I say try these before you invest in those. BUT if you are truly after exfoliation nothing beats Alpha Hydrox Souffle, around $15 for an entire jar and it will last you far longer than this. Its quite moisturising as well, so far, I have not found anything that beats this (juice beauty apple peel, exfolikate, this, etc).
I have an interesting story about the Chanel SA who assisted me with this foundation. She looked flawless so I asked what she was wearing, to which she replied this new foundation. She was very generous and poured me 2 samples jars of this in 2 different shades. I used it for 2 weeks and while I found the formula to be very easy to wear and apply, I was somehow not sold. The coverage is light and it lasts only 75% of the day. Still this is much better than the Matt Lumiere. The main issue I have is that is oxidises about half a shade, so I recommend that you go lighter. I have normal skin. Further to this, it makes me look really dull, even when the lighter shade has darkened, it just doens't make me look vibrant. It sort of makes me look as if I have pollution on my face having spent the day in the big smoke. I went to a SA at GA and asked what he thought of the foundation I was wearing to which he replied 'sorta dull, ho-hum, you could do better, but the color match is correct'. OK, this finally confirmed what I was thinking all along, but could not admit since I really wanted to like this. All in all, this foundation is at best, on the better side of OK. I went back to the same Chanel SA to ask if there are any other options to deal with this, ie primer, color corrector, etc. She then told me her secret, she said she wasnt wearing this at all, but in fact she was wearing Shisiedo Sun Protection Liquid Foundation. She said this is what the new chanel foundation wants to be and that she has used shiseido for many years but just tell customers that she wears Chanel. She said there was no color shift issues, the coverage is medium and stays that all day, the sun protection is better and the nozzle dispenser is better and about $20 cheaper. She also said that a lower end foundation to which this is similar is the Maybelline Fit me, which I already have but have not worn. So off I went to Shiseido, got my sample jar and tried again for a week. Within the first day I wore this, it was like, YES, i have found what I was looking for. This is one of the most superb foundation I have ever used. The color selection is much better, although there are less than half the shades, the formula is easy to wear, makes me look bright and best of all, it lasts all day and gives a perfect finish. I guess I should really write this review under the shiseido section, but I guess I wanted to give you guys a comparison, which is what I always appreciate in reviews. As for the maybelline fit me, it is the best drugstore i have ever tried, i was thoroughly impressed! In fact, i prefer this to the chanel since its not as drying and there is no color shift, above all, it makes me look luminous and not dull. Before you buy the Chanel, I highly recommend that you try the shiseido and maybelline along side this. I hope you find what you are looking for. I went back to the Chanel SA and gave her some chocolates to thank her for her honesty.
This product is marketing incorrectly but is a great product if you use it for its real purpose. For the longest time I disliked this. This does not smooth anything and I cannot really see what it does for the first signs of ageing. What this really is, is a clay mask which has some essential oils and isn't as aggressive as those clay masks that dry rock hard very quickly. This is a clay mask for where you don't want something so abrasive but still want a good purge. It has a creamy texture so if you leave it on for 10min, its still soft but leave it on for longer, it goes hard and cracks. Its self adjustable which I like. There is no smoothing action but it draws out impurities like most clay masks. THis is a bit overpriced but if you can get a 3 for 2 deal, its worth it.

This is one of the best cleansers I have ever used, cleanses extremely well and is gentle. Cut through grease like nothing else and I highly recommend this for combo-oily types. The small particles dissolve and feel nice and the foaming action is good. Washes clean and the citrus scent is not offensive. Much better than anything Mychelle, Jurlique or Caudalie have to offer. This blitzes them all, packaging is great, I just have to lie it on its lid and a tiny bit goes a long way. Most of all its very cost effective.

This is neither an effective brightening product nor is it an effective moisturiser. As a whitening product, this makes zero difference. I have now used the entire tube with no results and I am going back to the Kiehls whitening moisturiser which is so much better. As a moisturiser, this completely dried me out while covering my face with greasy SPF. The age defying moisturiser by jurlique is much better. The worse thing is that this aged me, it just made me look crusty! I cannot recommend this on any accounts.

This did virtually nothing to lighten my spots, maybe it prevented worsening, but I cannot make a conclusive comment about that. The moisturiser in this line is much better and does a lot more, which surprised me. The texture of this is like a concentrated lotion and would not sink in well if you had any hint of oiliness. Overall, a no go, it just did nothing. The highly efficient skintone corrector by Kiehls is better but the kojic acid element is a bit abrasive to use everyday.
If you have never used this brand of foundations, the Rich Liquid Foundation (RLF) is much better. This could look great photographed however my foundation goals are smoothness, undetectable med coverage and longevity of wear, which unfortunately this fails. I would say that at best, this is on the bad side of OK. This is most suited to young, unlined faces with no imperfections. If you test a bit on the back of your hand, you can see the way it settles into the lines, this does not happen with RLF. I find the texture of this to be unrefined and emphasises all the imperfections on my face. I have read this complaint among bloggers and discovered myself that this is true. The degree of coverage is medium and unless you are an exact color match, it is very obvious you are wearing foundation. The girls leaving dept store demos has a clear demarcation where there was no perfect match, with RLF, this just does not happen. I find this a lot goopier than RLF, which is quite sheer when used with primer however this just made me one oily mess with primer. I highly recommend you test a small sample prior to purchase. One more thing I don't like is the fact that its MADE IN THAILAND, whereas the rest of this brand is made in Germany (this brand is made by Kryolan).
This is just OK, the face cream is much better. This is quite heavy and is milia galore! Not particularly moisturising either, I would sample first. When used under concealer, it gives it cracks which I did not like meaning that the cream is too thick and does not sink in. Very expensive for what it is. Did not diminish wrinkles or the like.
I find this to be a very average product. There is a lot of oxidation and I get very greasy with this. The main issue however is the color. I dont feel that this is brightening enough and the oxidation makes it go brown. This is not yellow based but rather brown based. At the skin shade intensity this is intended, there needs to be more yellow and peach pigment. As such, I look more and more dull at the day goes on. If the color was corrected, it would be OK but I find tarte smooth operator in agent 6 to be much better than this, if only due to the color. This is just way too brown for someone who is light-med.

I would refrain from reading etailer reviews on this since they are a lot more positive than what this product really performs to. This made absolutely no difference on me at all. I expected something better for $20. This also clogged me up thereby resulting in uneven skin and clogged pores. I suggest you exfoliate more with this otherwise you may get pimples and whiteheads. The packaging is great, airtight and tiny nozzle, too bad it doesnt work at all. I have a light-med splattering of spots so I can really tell if something works or not. I say suck it up and get the Kiehls Photo-age spot treatment, all I can say is SO MUCH BETTER!

I really wanted to like this but this is nothing but an overpriced average cleanser. I am used to using cleansers that are double the size of this at the same price or less. It foams well but I dont really feel clean after this so is probably better for normal-dry skins. I did not see any brightening action either. This cleanser is virtually exactly the same as Vichy Pureté Thermale Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser, however the vichy leaves me feeling cleaner. This is no doubt gentle and the quality of ingredients is very high, there is nothing to dislike about this really however at the price it retails at its not worth it. This is just a basic cleanser, nothing more. I felt that the Kiehls Photoage cleanser is probably the only cleanser I have used where afterwards I thought yep, this is definitely brightening. I received the full size gratis and I'm glad I didnt pay for it!
This is an average moisturizer best for drier skin types. It does not lighten or brighten in any way. It is however a very smooth moisturizer that is too much for my normal-combo skin. This is actually the same product as the clinique even better moisturizer, the only difference being the fragrance. The ingredient list is the same and I only found out since I had a slight reaction to this and the clinique one. It comes off the same estee lauder production line and if I had known, I would not have purchased this since the clinique was not effective either. The high spf is nice but no lightening in spots. The peel pads in this line are much better and I highly recommend those. Powder type make up applies well over this but it makes liquid foundation slide around too much and get oily after 2 hours.
