Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Eyelid Cleanser

I wear contacts, ever since they have the disposal ones, I developed dry eyes. Also, I have very sensitive skin (eyelid as well.) No luck for eyeliners mascara, I always end up having an itchy eye, and I can't stop myself rubbing my eyes. Anyways, I forgot what makes me bought this expensive eyelid cleanser, but it's the best eye product I've ever used. My eyes are out of itch/dryness ever time I used it, I used it after I cleaned my face with baby soap, and I can see the debris on the pad. But they are very expensive, it's about $13 for 30 pads, but each pad is kind of big and foamy. i would cut it in half, and store the other half in the fridge (hoping bacteria won't grow on it.) I am thinking getting their eye make-up remover later after I am done with the cleanser.

I have to admit that the price and the packaging made me think this is one of the best product on the planet. With that price, you usually expect something flimsy, rough and shred everywhere, but this one is not, it's durable, no shredding, and have very soft bristle!(playing the bristle gave me orgasm! hoho!) It's even softer than the MAC brushes I've had. Someone question if it can hold the eyeshadow powder, they do pick up the powder! But if you ask me if this are the best brushes, I have to say no. Sometimes when I tried to blend it with the e/s, instead of blending I can see the brush is picking up/taking away the e/s powder I have put on, which is not seen with any MAC brushes I used. Also, every time after I washed the brushes, I can see them having a hard time to go back together. You can see the groups of straws are separated here and there. Anyways, I think it's a definitely a wonderful buy, esp. when you went on a trip and you need a set of new brushes.

i am very disappointed with this SH product. the color is cool, matched with the bottle, however, its consistency is bad, looks like it's been diluted, and it's hard to produce a nice opaque color in one coat, also, the color came off by itself within 2 days!

I gave a 4 for overall rating, because it's really long-lasting, and it gave an airbrush-look if you put it on after the moisturizer. For my dry skin, this did a better job than MAC studio fix, however, for me, I have sensitive skin, and the foundation has caused me some itchy bumps. I will need to stop that. : (

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Salt

I have sensitive skin that reacts to chemical and dust mites, and my skin will got red, hot itchy whenever there's dust mites. I used to use hydrocortisone, it helps, but it's really slow. Accidentally, I found out that J&J head to toe baby wash helps to relieve the itch, whenever I got itchy at my bf's house, I rushed to clean the area with the wash. Anyways, I wonder why it helps, and I looked at the ingredients, I don't know the others but the Sodium Chloride (table salt.) So next time, I tried to add some water to the a lot of table salt and put it on the itchy site, although the redness is still there, I didn't feel that itchy any more! Then I used salty water on my pimples/whitehead before my sleep, it helps as well. What I think is the high concentration of salt water pulled out the "bad liquid" from the the area to relieve the situation. update: don't use it on open wound because the salt is going to damage the cell because salt hypertonic drawing out all the contents from the cell and burst the cell, making the wound bigger and uglier. Also, don't mix a very high concentration of salt in water.

My bf kept warning me not to buy this, because he saw how the callus remover sort of thing ruin his mom feet, made her having more and more "peel-skin" growing out. Anyways, I still want to try it since I know it has been on the market for quite some time, My logic is if it's not working, it would disappear itself. Turn out it's really good! I don't know how they did it, but they know just to take off the peeling skin! After my bf found out I am using that, he hided it, I know it's somewhere in the house, but I just didn't know where it is. It was back in December, but guess what, now I still have my nice smooth feet that I don't need to beg him to give it back to me yet!

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Big Happie Hair- Bumpits
whitebook 6/17/2009 11:32:00 PM
My head is flat, and I really need it, and finally found it at Walgreen. It grabs the hair very well, once you insert it, it probably won't fall out. However, this thing is just a rigid plastic, you either fit it or not, turns out it's too narrow for my head! (I got headaches!) Well, I tried to ignore that, and wore it anyways. But the thing is people can still see this thing through my hair! (even I am using a medium size)! I guess this thing is designed for people has lots of hair but doesn't have any volume of their massive hair. I want to email them asking them to make a more elastic bumpits (with a bottom something like a hair band), but their website doesn't seems to support that. If not, I will just put a strainer under my hair.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
whitebook 6/13/2009 4:34:00 PM
I just bought the one from Walmart which is about 1.98. I mixed it with water and used it as a toner on my bf's thousand years blackheads, haha, it works freaking amazingly, his blackheads are 90% gone, and I asked him to squeeze out the 10% (well, which is not good to his skin actually). I definitely will buy this again! update: 08/05 still loving this, also, i remember some MUAer said she used ACV to remove her cuticle, i actually tried today. Originally, I remember she said she soaked her feet with ACV, but I forgot the ratio, so I just dap a little bit ACV on my nails and then I can't wait to remove the cuticle with my tweezer! it actually work just as good as the Sally Hansen one I was using. But I used it on my chemically straightened hair, and it doesn't help! : <

Liquid -Maybelline - Superstay Silky foundation ]

First of all, what I want to say is that... if the color doesn't work on you, move on and forget it. 04 was a very beautiful shade on me (I am a NC30 with a bit of yellow-tone), but once I mis-buy the 02, it looks horrible. I used to love this foundation to death. I started to use it since 2007. It gives medium to full coverage, it covers everything even the pores, even the frown line! Also, it lasts much better than other lines, I won't say it lasts for 16 hours, but 8+ hours at least. Also, it has SPF. It gave this airbrush look to my face, that I received a lot of compliments from it, people kept saying my face looks like a perfect doll. I didn't get any breakouts from it, I don't think it clogs pores, but I think it's hard to be cleaned completely. And I consistently looked for strong power cleanser/toner and my face ended up so rough trying all these strong cleansers. So, I quit using it since last year, and I got a better face using mild soap and powder foundation. But last week, I saw it in the drawer again, and used it again, the coverage is incomparable with my powder foundation, and I am tempted to use it again. However, I don't think I will consistently purchase it. update: (6/13) No, it makes my face rough again, won't buy it anymore.

Got a H9 hard forumla stone grey 3 days ago, and had tested it on my oily face! Love it! I've been using Chanel, Maybelline and MAC, and I love this one the most, Chanel and maybelline have beautiful shade, the staying powers are both good. but they are not as good as this one. This one will stay on your face even when it's oily. It's very easy to apply (smooth), and the color seems natural on my Chinese face. I think it's a better deal when it's in pencil form since I can use it all the way to the end! All I have to complain (for now) is the price.

Skincare - Face -Johnson & Johnson - Johnson&Johnson PH 5.5 Sensitive Skin Foaming Cleanser
whitebook 6/7/2009 10:57:00 PM
I was using Johnson&Johnson head to toe wash as my facial wash, but it's too drying, so I tried this since its ingredient is very similar (just one ingredient is different), and it claims it removes make-up. However, although my face looked better right after I used it (smaller pores and clearer face), I found very tiny zits on my face. I didn't believe it (since there's only one ingredient that's different!) until I switched back to the head and toe wash. I've noticed that this facial wash always left a slippery film which I need to scrub it off or else I will have zits. I think J&J head to toe wash is drier but it won't cause me any zits.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cork

I only love this brown eyeshadow. I have medium-fair skin and this is great for contouring. I can make my eyes pop out, contour out my nose bridge! the color is just right! (other brown are too dark or too stood-out on my NC30 skin) I can't live without this shadow! (MAC, don't discontinue this please!) Also, the staying power of MAC are never questionable!
