Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Medium Plus

I'm obsessed with this powder. I have it in the color medium dark (I'm NW 25). I used to hate this powder when I first got it but I decided to give it another chance. It makes you look flawless when applied with a dense kabuki brush (I like Sephora's Bronzer brush). I put this over my Garnier BB Cream and it looks like I'm wearing full coverage foundation but much less cakey. You can also wear this alone and it's very buildable. I already bought a backup so I never run out. I have combination skin and I don't find that this breaks me out or makes me get oily. I also have the Mineralize Skin Finish in "Give me Sun" which is a bronzer and I love that as well. It is definitely worth the money.
This is my favorite gel/cream eyeliner. I have used Blacktrack by MAC and this is very comparable at a fraction of the price. Maybelline also makes a gel eyeliner that I thought I liked but it made my eyes so gloopy and I kept getting those disgusting black eye boogers all day. This one does not get gloopy or give you those nasty eye boogers. Plus its much easier to remove but stays in place all day. The color is extremely black and looks just like a liquid liner. It does dry up but at $3 I don't mind repurchasing.
Mascara -Rimmel - Volume Flash The Max in Extreme Black 003

This is the first and only Rimmel mascara I have tried & I hate it. The formula is SO wet and takes forever to dry. I opened the mascara three months ago and forgot about it. I tired it again and it was still just as wet and gloopy. I have the waterproof version which is usually great for holding curl but not in this mascara. My curl fell within minutes. It added a little volume but nothing noticeable. I would never repurchase!!
I normally don't write reviews after trying a product once but I love this primer! I like how it doesn't feel greasy and silicone like. It's a much different formula than Smashbox or the Hard Candy one I normally use. I put my makeup on at 7:00am today and it's now 7PM and it looks perfect. I'm not sure about the price or packaging as I only got a sample of this. I think I'm going to purchase the fill size once I finish the sample. My skin is combination. I get a little oily in the T zone during the day usually but not at all today!
I really love this moisturizer!! I've been using it over my L'Oreal Serum everyday and it really keeps your skin fresh and glowy. I like the the gel like texture of this moisturizer. A little goes a long way! I would definitely repurchase if I had a little extra money to spend as this is kinda pricy for a moisturizer in my opinion.
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush - Mellow Wine 833D

Pretty good cheapie blush. VERY pigmented but can be a little chalky and dusty. I have to be careful when I use this because it does come out so dark. The color almost has an orange tint on my skin? I like this blush and I think it's a good value but it's not my favorite. I prefer blushes that are more pink. I'm definitely going to pick up some more of the W&W blushes.
I really like this mascara but where is the Waterproof version!??! I can only use waterproof mascara as the regular kinds never hold my curl. I bought the nonwaterproof version because I really wanted to try it anyways. It gives so much length! This would be my new HG if it would hold my curl but unfortunately it does not. I still use it on top of my normal mascara but I have to wait for it to dry completely. Please bring the Waterproof back L'oreal!!!
Treatments -Infusium 23 - Repair & Renew Leave-In Treatment

Literally did nothing for my hair. I thought it would be a great detangler but its definitely not. Also, the packaging sucks. I had to buy a smaller spray bottle to put in. It comes in a pour bottle and its basically water. How is that supposed to work for anyone? I'll continue to use it until its gone but definitely won't repurchase.
I'm obsessed with this Lip Scrub! I tried to hold off on buying by using my own sugar and olive oil but it doesn't come close. I finally gave in and spent $9 on this scrub but I don't regret it at all. It works great to remove flakiness on lips and leaves them moisturized after. It smells really good but I could go without the chocolate. Just mint would be better to me. You can lick it off afterwards but I think that's a little gross (You're eating your dry skin flakes!). I'm going to repurchase this when I run out and I'm thinking about getting it for family members for Christmas! Lush has been winning recently in my book!
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Creamsicle
underage 10/15/2012 11:00:00 PM
My favorite lip butter! It's perfect for everyday. Not too nude and drying like a lot of other lipsticks I have tried. My only compliant is that there is not a lot of product and that it makes the flakes on your lips show. I have been exfoliating my lips like crazy because I want to wear this lipstick without my lips looking dry! I still love the color and this is definitely one I will repurchase.
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting

I held off on buying these for so long. I have so many lip products laying around that I don't use. I tend to avoid lipsticks because I think it makes me look too made up (for day time anyways) but these are PERFECT! I have 4 so far and this one is one my favorites. I'm pretty fair skinned and this gives my lips a hint of shimmer and color that is not too overpowering for everyday wear. I also love how moisturizing they are. They don't last long but that's not a big deal to me. Try these if you haven't! You will fall in love
I got the sample size that comes with Truth Creme at Sephora for around $25. I reaaaaally like this serum but I don't think I will buy the full size just because of the price. I'm 22 years old so I don't anything too heavy duty but this works pretty good. I noticed my skin did look plumper and moisturized after using this and the Truth Creme every night. I noticed that when I used this combo with my Cetaphil cleanser for oily skin I didn't have one pimple for almost a month!! I really dislike the smell of this though. It smells like fake citrus and takes a while to fade. Overall, this is a really nice product if you have money to blow but I don't so I'll stick to my L'Oreal Serum when I run out!
Hair -Unlisted Brand - Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy for Damaged and Color Treated Hair
underage 10/15/2012 10:45:00 PM
Pros +Makes your hair so soft and smooth! +Makes your hair more manageable +Smells really good and the scent lasts +Cheap Cons +Waaaaaay more hair loss than usual & tangles when I got out of the shower This shampoo would be a holy grail in my book if I didn't loose so much hair using it. Lucky I have a lot of hair so I will continue to use it. I'm not sure if it just feels thinner because it is smooth or if I did lose a good amount. Lots of clumps came out in my brush so we will see what happens in the long run!
I usually dislike Lush products but I love this one! The scrub can be a little bit harsh but not too bad. I like to rub it in my hand first and then on my skin. The smell is kind of earthy but not too overpowering like the other Lush scent. It wears off a little after the shower. It does leave a greasy feeling after but it sinks into your skin and leave it feeling so soft! I mostly like this for the moisturizing aspects not the exfoliation. I'd definitely repurchase it! I recommend purchasing the tin (for $3 I think?). It helps the product last longer and not slip around in the shower.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Head Kandy Hair Extensions
underage 9/22/2012 5:15:00 PM
I decided to wait about a month before writing a review on these extensions to be fair. I got the Manhattan Blonde in 24-26 inch (& the thickest set) so needless to say these cost quite a bit. I like how they have a good color selection on their site which is why I ordered from them. I have blonde hair with brown low lights and the bottom of my hair is a little darker. I sent in a picture to get color matched and they are very helpful and responsive. Turns out I probably should have got a shade darker than they suggested. The hair arrived in about a week (I live in the US). It was packaged nicely and I like how they had one weft you could use to test. I knew as soon as I saw it that the color was way too light but I didn't feel like returning them (even though I emailed them and they said I could). I ended up dying my own hair to match. Also the 24-26 inch were WAY too long so I had to have them cut as well. They still don't blend well but I think this is the best I'm going to get with my hair having so many tones. As for the overall quality of the hair it is nice and seems to be holding up well. Its very soft but doesn't hold a curl that well. Once I've curled them a few times and made them kind of dirty it holds better. I haven't washed them yet and I don't plan on washing them anytime soon as I only wear them for special occasions. They don't look real enough for everyday wear for me. They got a bit frizzy and do tangle easily so you have to be very careful. I wish they were a bit thicker. I also don't like that when you look at the top near the stitching there are tons of broken off baby hairs?? Not just a few but literally looks like someone cut off the hair there to be very short. Overall these are very good quality hair extensions. I don't think I would purchase again as they are a hassle and my hair is too hard to match. I would recommend these to a friend but definitely not in the 24-26 inch!
