I agree with the reviewer below that this packaging, for me, is superior to other cream shadows. I like the tube because it's hard for me to dip my long phony fingernails into a pot without getting product all under my nails! I also like this cream shadow best because it is creamier than, say, MAC's Paint Pots. This color is my HG shade - neutral but not so neutral it doesn't show up. A nice, medium taupe with a touch of shimmer that, in a rush, I can just slap on and go without adding anything extra. Also works as a base color under just about any taupe shadow or pigment. I use it almost every day!
One of my absolute favorites - more complex than solid black, a strong, vivid color, but still good for everyday wear. Great if you have green eyes.
These are the only eyeliners I wear. I wear my liner on the waterline and even though the SA's always tell me Eye Kohl is the one they recommend, those fade and smear whereas these stay put. Lasts all day without reapplying. Wish they'd make more colors, but still, I won't risk wearing anything else.
I am heartbroken about this eyeliner. If you have green eyes, nothing can make them look better! However, after wearing it for about a week my I had an allergic reaction to something in this color that made my eyes get sticky, red & goopy. It's only when I wear this particular color, though, as I have other Eye Kohls that do not react on me this way. I am so sad about it, too, because every time I wore this as my eyeliner I got compliments! I still say if you have green eyes, try it, because I haven't read any other reviews complaining of this problem. And I am even more jealous because I seem to be the only one who can't wear it!
Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Garden of Stars Lily Eau de Parfum

I had never experienced Angel when I sniffed it in a department store a year ago. I chose the lily version as my favorite and wore it a few times, then sold off my bottle on eBay to buy something pricier. After all this time without it, I found myself craving it again, and trekked back to the store where I once again ended up choosing Le Lys over all the others in the line. So, I guess for me it really is the best of the bunch. A teensy bit lighter than the original - and the rose one smelled like dirt on me, as all rose scents do.
Ack! I like both Angel (the "Le Lys" version) and Innocent quite a bit, so was curious to try this one out, but it was actually just too sweet for me in a very watermelon-y sort of way. A watery, fresh sort of sweet that just didn't sit well with me and made me actually a slight bit nauseous. Still, I can see where others might just love it; it's not as far off from Angel as Alien, and is quite youthful.
An interesting perfume - I didn't hate it, but was sniffing my arm all day mostly out of curiosity, which is not the reason I generally purchase a perfume! It has something heavy, almost rubbery, happening in the beginning, then gets incense-y after it dries down. It is unusual, and I can see why people like it, but it is cloying and overpowering and not exactly the sort of "pretty" smell I usually go for. However, the next day, when I opened up the closet where my sweater hung that I'd worn the day before when testing Alien, it had a wonderful smell left behind in the fabric. So I was left feeling a bit confused, and not completely sold on it.
When I first compared this to my favorite pigment shades - Coco and Cocomotion - I thought it too similar to keep. But then I brushed a bit of each over my hand and realized Gold Stroke has a reddish tint to it that the other two don't have, and gave it a try on my lids over the Paint Pot in Construcivist. I really like it! A nice, reddish-brown that is not overdone and subtle enough for wear during the day. I wear it with the Eye Kohl in Foxy Lady and my HG mascara (Trish McAvoy Lash Curling Mascara in Auburn) as it goes well with these, too.
Sunscreen -Paula's Choice - Pure Mineral Sunscreen SPF15

This stuff is absolutely horrible. It claims to be for "very dry skin" yet practically takes a trowel to apply and does not absorb into the skin at all. It is literally the consistency of Elmer's glue, and just as hard to wash off. This makes my dry skin look and feel ten times worse and when I put my makeup on over it I look flaky, uneven, and chalky. Absolutely the worst sunscreen I have ever put on my face. A real disaster.
Shampoo -ARTec - Color Depositing Shampoo [DISCONTINUED]

I color my black hair with bright red highlights, and they wash out/fade very quickly. The ARTec in Cherry Bark (I use both the shampoo and the conditioner) really help revitalize my color! y only complaint is that the shampoo does not lather and feels a little drying, but the conditioner makes up for it. I use this every other day, and a regular shampoo on the other days. It really does help my red stay vibrant.

I was not thrilled with this at first splash, but the drydown is just lovely and in the end I was sold. It is a bit too green on me at first, but then dries down to a lovely musk within which I can still smell the lavender and chocolate. It has great staying power, too, which is always a plus. I don't know if it smells like Jean Nate, as I've never smelled that stuff, but if it does, so be it. I have enjoyed this scent far more than I expected to at first whiff.
Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia

I love this! But when I describe it as "light" I only mean in relation to other tuberose scents, as it is still pretty powerful stuff. I have made the mistake of putting too much on (like I might do with a truly light scent) and just about knocking a roomful of people over - so be careful! But, I have always wanted a tuberose I could wear, but the ones I've tried (Fracas and Malle's "cardinal flower," I think) were just too much for me and I would feel a little sick wearing them. This is one I can do and as long as I'm sparing with it, it's just lovely. And talk about staying power! A little bit will last you all day.
I agree with what others have said about this mascara - removal is awesome as it just "rolls" off with water in little strands, very cool - but it also does not budge during the day, which has always been a problem with me. Also, I have this in the "auburn" color which I just adore; it's the best shade ever for my hair and eye color. However, I have to knock off some lippies for the packaging of this product - I don't know what it is but it's as if the tube is too small for the mascara wand; every time I dip the wand into the tube it scrapes the sides of the tube and tons of the product comes off, collecting around the lip of the tube. It's really wasteful and kinda icky, too, but overall I love this mascara enough to spend the money for it anyway. I just wish they'd fix the packaging!
Perfection - I would pay twice as much for this if I had to. I have pale, dry skin, with some ugly spider veins, unfortunately; a tan really helps conceal those and makes even the dryness on my legs less noticeable, but as I am getting older and the sun damage is starting to show, a tanning bed is no longer an option. I've used the Sally Hansen stuff to moderate satisfaction, but it actually looks like pantyhose on and creates a very matte appearance on the legs. Not this stuff. Easy to apply - I just spray it onto a sponge and rub it on my skin and it remains moist long enough to even it out. I am usually clumsy at applying such stuff, but this is almost impossible to screw up, and there is no mess like with the SH stuff, it really is a very wet mousse. At first I couldn't see the difference but then got out in the sun and was pleased at how nice and naturally bronze my legs looked (I used the Medium shade on my pale skin)! And, it does NOT wear off onto clothing at all! Everyone should know about this stuff and MAC should be making a mint off of it. The best leg bronzer ever!!
I wanted to love this, because the idea of smelling like a circus was too good to pass up. However, on my skin this smells exactly like Bvlgari Black, with which I am already in love, so there's no need to cheat on it with this one. If Black is a little overpowering for you, you might like this one instead as the rubber smell is not as strong.
