Eye Shadow -MAC - Retrospeck (Lustre)

I can't help feeling that if this eye shadow had been released by a drugstore brand it would have gotten a much lower rating... it seemed nice when I swatched it on my hand at the mac store, and I had seen it got a good overall rating here before I bought it but I have to say I, for one, hate it!!! I get glitter down to my chin when I try to put it on but not much shows on the lid (despite using a base and all) and even if I try to carefully pat it on with a 239. It's a mess and it was definitely not worth the price for me. I will update if something changes but unfortunately I don't think it will.

I like this foundation, it does not feel heavy on my skin and has a nice semi matte finish which I personally like. It stays quite well throughout the day, I just need to touch up once or so. I believe that the colour selection is rather limited, or at least they don't seem to have too many options in the department store, but no 23 is quite a good match for me so no problems there.

I love this blush! It has a very nice texture, it's easy to apply and blend, and it's very pigmented. As the name suggests, it gives a lovely natural glow. Great for every day use.
