Treatments -Sally Hansen - Wax Strips

I just used these today, so I'll update if I find any breakouts or reactions, but so far, I LOVE THIS! I have never tried waxing before, and I was scared beyond relief, but felt a bit better after reading these reviews. As others have said, rubbing it between your hands will not generate enough heat, so I used my blow dryer for about 3-4 minutes, pulled them apart and put them off. These didn't take off all the hairs, but it was because I was nervous about putting these on in case I got my lip or something. I grit my teeth and pulled them off, and surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I'll cut them into little strips and get the rest of the hairs tomorrow. The oil is amazing. I put a little on a cotton ball and brushed it around, and it really did calm it down. Yes the area's red, yes it stings after, but it is TOTALLY worth it. It's about $7-8 Canadian at most drugstores. Will definitely repurchase.

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers in Classic Pink

I love this blush, it's one of my staples. I'm a warm toned girl with strong yellow undertones, and this blush was made for cool skin tones, but when used sparingly, I can acheive the prettiest pinky glow. I have to be careful that I don't overdo it or else I look like a monkey's ass, but that's probably on the fault of my own for choosing a pinkier blush made for cool tones. The little brush is ok, I prefer my own bigger blush brush, but it's not bad, though the bristles feel kinda harsh and fall off. I'm going to try Pretty Peach and Rose Silk next.

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - WetSlicks Lip Gloss -Peaches N Gleam

A beautiful colour in the bottle! At first when I applied it, I was really disappointed. It looked way too frosty and shimmery, but I experimented and it looks really nice if I apply with a lighter hand. This is actually pretty close to my natural lip colour, just a bit more pink and slightly shimmery. I would definitely repurchase.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara

This is an okay mascara. It does give lots of volume and makes my lashes thick, but only if it was paired with another mascara. On it's own, it clumped my lashes together and made them spidery thin. If I have a mascara underneath, then apply this, it's better, but you can see little clumps of mascara on my lashes, and you can't get rid of them without rubbing the mascara off. The packaging sucks, all the excess mascara clumps at the top of the bottle so it gets on the brush when I pull it out. It does hold a curl though, and I really wish I could keep it because of that since I havn't bought a mascara that holds a curl. Boo =( I probably won't purchase again.

Eye Shadow -Bonne Bell - Shadowbox in Cafe Classics

The colours looked gorgeous in the box, a nice silvery white colour that looked like it would work well as highlighter, a chocolate brown that looked perfect for lining eyes instead of using eyeliner, a beautiful sparkly peach cream colour that looked stunning for a night look, and a lovely shimmery neutral champagne colour for everyday. What a disappointment! All of them turned into a shimmery mess on me, the sparkly one was even worse, all the sparkles smeared all over my cheekes. I looked like a disco ball. The champagne colour isnt too bad when used lightly with the sponge they give you, since the sponge is small and spreads just enough colour. I still need to tone it down with a matte taupe colour. I would never purchase again.

Fragrances -Calgon - Hawiian ginger body mist

I love this scent for summer because it's light, fresh, fruity and not so strong that it overpowers. There are a lot of names like Calvin Klein and Espirit who make "summer" scents, but I still find them waaay too strong and flowery. This is perfect for me, and it lasts long especially when I spray it on my pulse points.

Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Soft Shimmer Skin Radiance Moisturizer [DISCONTINUED]

I was looking for a shimmery lotion to highlight my tan skin. This definitely helps!! I don't know why people were complaining about the smell-- that was the thing I was worried about, but I actually love the smell! It kind of smells like soap to me. The lotion itself, when you squeeze it out of the bottle, is a yellow tinted cream with a beautiful golden shimmer. It applies really well, and has a great staying power. It moisturizes well too, leaving my skin soft and smooth. I would definitely rebuy this again!!

Loose Powders -Cover Girl - loose powder

I love this product! It covers slight imperfections and is really lightweight on your face. The only thing I don't like is that puff. If you tip the container just a bit, all this powder comes out and cakes onto the makeup puff. I usually just use a big powder brush and swipe it off the puff, then apply it.

Fragrances -J. Lo - Glow

The bottle was so beautiful I had to spray it on. It smells horrible, like a mixture of random thrown together objects liquified into a "perfume". I don't like any of J.Lo's perfumes, they have a disgusting stench to them.
