Bronzers -Jane - Shimmering Bronzer - Sedona 10

I have been wearing this every day for about two weeks and I don't plan to stop! I use it more like a blush / for contouring. Suddenly I have cheekbones - very important since I feel like my face has kind of a "chubby" look, sigh. I actually look in the mirror after applying this and think, "WOW!" The packaging isn't the best - I don't really need the mirror on the bottom and didn't even try using the included brush... but these are minor concerns. If I apply too much I do feel like I get the "dirty" look some of the other reviewers wrote about. I wouldn't try applying like a traditional bronzer (I'm pretty pale). However, when I apply it just right, I am NUTS about the results.

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Therapeutic Conditioning Balm in Blackberry Creme

My lips are in love! They're already pretty pigmented so I've used a lot of different balms over time (mostly d/s). This is my favorite for sure! Reminds me a lot of Softlips, but I feel like this lasts longer. Love the scent and how it feels so smoooooth on my lips. I like this so much I bought another one to keep at work. Price can't be beat! I had pretty good luck buying off the website (www.eyeslipsface.com) - I know some people have had problems with being short-shipped or products breaking in transit. They do just shove everything in a bubble mailer. If you are going to order from the website, make sure to search around for a code. There are usually a couple floating around! Edit: I still use and like this, but it has developed a strange texture on the top, almost pebbly... it's odd, but doesn't seem to affect performance.

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Pumpkin Nectarine Home Fragrance Oil

I wish I had bought this on TBS website's sale (it was $2), but thought it would be too pumpkin-y. Of course after doing some searching on the B&B board my interest was piqued and I had to try it! I went to a B&M store and picked one up for $4. The regular price is $7.50. I love the way this smells. Much more nectarine than pumpkin - in fact my untrained nose doesn't pick up the pumpkin at all. I mix about 50% oil with 50% water to thin it out and make it last a little longer. It really fills the room, and I still smell it faintly for hours after I blow the tealight out. I wouldn't buy it at the regular price, but on sale it's a steal.

Brows -Just for Redheads - Brush a Brow

Wow! I bought this to give more definition to my brows since they're almost so light they're invisible. I seriously feel like I have to draw my eyebrows on every day, LOL. This product is GREAT for me. I don't know how it compares to other like products, but I've always been happy with it. I got it seven years ago and have used it almost every single day since then (no joke). At the time I bought it, I thought it was a little expensive, but SEVEN YEARS! I would say I would buy it again, but I'm not sure when (if?) I'll run out. I don't remember which color I bought and the label rubbed off long ago. The hinge to the lid has broken, which isn't that surprising given how much use I've given it. The great thing about it being powder is if I make a mistake, I can just rub it off and start again. Adding, it is now 1/15/09 and I have purchased a replacement from the JFR website. I got ginger auburn, which turns out to be darker and redder than my original powder (which I suspect is ginger gold). Well, take my previous warm & fuzzy thoughts about this product and multiply times 10! I now use the brush that came with the HIP cream eyeliners - useless for eyeliner, great for brows - and I'm totally enjoying the new shade. It's much closer to my natural hair color and gives my brows good definition when I'm wearing dark eyeliner and mascara. I'm still keeping the other shade (plenty of product left after yet another year of use!) for days when I want a softer look. Adding, now it's 10/23/09 and I no longer use the ginger auburn shade - it ended up being a little too dark and too warm for me. But GOOD NEWS, I purchased a back up of ginger gold and it's FABULOUS. Same formula as my older (in fact, very old) powder and just as wonderful. I'm still using my original one but am very glad to have the back up, which I take on trips since the hinge is intact. I was hesitant to call this HG, but now I have no doubt! I no longer look at any other brow product. This is the one product besides my sunscreen that I put on every day without fail.

I use this ALL THE TIME. I blend it with my fingertips after applying. Wears great, lasts all day. Very pigmented so I don't have to use very much. I have seriously had this for years with pretty constant use, still have about half of it left. CG is inexpensive and always going on sale, so ideal for me (kind of a makeup amateur honestly). This is great for people just getting into makeup.
