My mom actually gave this to me when she bought the wrong color. I have been using mineral make up for a long time now and sometimes feel like my face is a bit too shiny. I reached for this one day and tried it. I was very suprised. I haven't used a cover girl power in a very long time (they are really dusty and powdery for my tast). This power took away any shine and didn't look like I had dust all over my face. I also like the compact this comes in. The mirror can be moved into two different positions and I like the sponge instead of a puff the other compacts have.
I wasn't really impressed with this. I got it on sale and thought the brush was interesting. I do like the brush. It is great for seperating and lengthing but I didn't notice much volume. I don't like mascara itself though. Lots of clumps and a little flaky. Won't buy again.
I like this razor. I tried the shieck intuition and liked the idea of not having to use shave cream or gel but it wore down too fast (after about 3 or 4 shaves) and I would go right bact to using shave gel again. The venus lasts a lot longer. It gives a close shave and is easy to hold on too in the shower. I like the storage holder that it comes with too. It hold the unused razor inside and attaches with sticky pad instead of suction cups which never stay on my shower walls for some reason. Will buy again.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Bobby Pin for blemishes and blackheads

This is so funny! I never thought anyone else used a bobby pin like this! I have used a bobby pin for a long time to get blackheads. I bought a tweezerman (or a version of it) and it didn't really do anything for me. Maybe I am not doing it right. I just ended up using it the same way I do the bobby pin.

I bought it on sale with a coupon. I was excited about the concept of being able to shave in the shower without having to use shave cream. Once I got used to using it and how much pressure to apply it worked well. It got my legs really smooth (they were even smooth the next day!) The problem is you only get about 3 good shaves out of it before the shave bar wears down. I did continue to use it after that but with shave cream and it worked fine. I will not buy again simply because it is not worth the price when it works like any other razor out there after just 3 shaves.
I bought these when I was staying at our family cabin one summer. They were decently priced and very pretty. I haven't cut myself that many times shaving since I first started! I could get a 10 pack of razors at the dollar store that work 100 times better than these. Terrible razors!
I bought this when I seen it in a trial size at Walmart. It is a lot like Certain Dry in the sense that you apply it at night and shower like normal in the morning. It didn't do anything for me. I tried going with out putting any on in the morning but after a couple of hours I could tell it wasn't working and put on some on. I used it till it was gone like I would use a normal deodorant (after showering in the morning) and it worked like any other Secreat deodorant. Will not buy again because I can get the same performance from regular deoderant for a lot cheaper.
I bought a couple pairs last summer in different colors. I figured I could a different pair to match different bathing suits and outfits because they are cheap. They fall apart fast and hurt my feet. You get what you pay for. I will dish out a couple more bucks for something more comfortable that will at least last the summer. Check out Payless!
Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Smooth Away hair removing pads

I was so excited to get this. I have sensitive skin so it seem like a great idea to use something that didn't involve chemicals or razors. I was so disappointed! I does take the hair off so I can't say that it doesn't work, but it took me about an hour to get one leg smooth! Once I finally got all the hair off my legs were very smooth. They didn't stay that way for long and after a few hours I was getting prickly. Also when the hair started to grow back it was incredibly itchy. As far as the package goes it does come with a lot of replacement pads (which doesn't matter because I will never use it again) and a "travel" case. However, the plastic that it is made out of has this horrible "plastic" smell. All and all a horrible product. Don't waste your money.
I have to start out by saying that I do have very long lashes. So long that they will often look fake with a little bit of mascara. They arn't very thick though so I am usally looking for a mascara that will give volume and not so much length. I bought this because I thought it would give a little bit of volume and still look natural. I love it! I just curl my lashes, put on one coat or two and go. I also use it on my eyebrows sometimes to make them look a bit fuller and stay in one place. Great clear mascara. Just bought the new Great Lash Big in black for a little more dramatic look. Will up date when I have tried it.
I have skin that is sensitive, acne prone and dry. I bought a bottle of witch hazel from Meijer for a little over a dollar. I bought it because of the reviews on here for helping clear up skin. I use it every morning and night after I wash my face and than I use moisterizer. I don't know if it cleared up my skin but it seems to prevent breakouts a bit. I is great for removing flaky dryness and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Will keep using it because I haven't had to exfoliate my skin since I started using it and that is good because most products that are used for exfoliating usually irritate my sensitive skin.
Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black

I ran out and bought this liner after I seen the rave reveues here. I gave it a three because I have tried and tried and I just can't get it to look right. It may be the brush (the one it comes with) because I always seem to get the line too thick. A little goes a long way though. It does stay on a really long time, in fact it is a little hard to get off. Even with all its staying power, it does smudge pretty easily after waitressing all night. I will keep practicing and maybe a different brush could be the answer.
I have tried many gradual tanning moisturizers and this is one is one of the better ones I have tried. It does have "smell" to it that most tanning moisturizers have but I didn't think it was as bad as Jergens' or Vasilines verisons. It gave very natural, gradual color which is nice because I am very fair. Hawiian Tropic makes a tanning moisturizer that has a very good smell and gives good color but it is a hard product to find. All and all I would buy again.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

I bought this when it first came out and still contained talc. I really wanted to try the mineral makeup that I had heard so much about. It was cheaper than BareMinearals (I got it for 13.99). It covered nicley but I didn't have much to compare it to since it was the first "mineral" make up I tried. It made my face itch and oily. And as the day goes on it starts develop a "skunky" type smell on my skin. I wouldn't buy it again. I broke down and bought BareMinerals which is pretty good and good for senstive skin, which I have. Jane makes a good version of mineral makeup and it comes the closest to the ingredients that are in BareMinerals. Jane's is much cheaper though (around 7 dollars at Walmart).
Treatments -Bare Escentuals - Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy

My mom got this for me because since I have had two kids my skin has become much more acne prone. I use it only as a spot treatment because I also have senstive skin and it can be a little drying also. It works great as a spot treatment. If I feel a pimple coming on I apply it and is heals before it get a chance to start. I also love the brush is comes with. I works as a good conceler also. It is a bit pricey though, as with most of the BE line.
