Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)
sammycansing01 6/23/2011 12:45:00 AM
I am in love with this color! I heard a lot of great things about Essie's Turquoise and Caicos so I decided to try it out. I notice that from my experience, blue-green type colors look great on me, no matter if it is clothes or nail polish. Anyways, I tried this on today and it looks gorgeous! It's this turquoise/aqua color, sorta like the ocean but greener. It takes me about two coats, as usual, to get it to be opaque, fresh, and well....beautiful! I absolutely love this color and please please please go check this baby out :D
I have been looking for that perfect light whitish-pink for a while and BINGO! This is the nail polish that is not too white, not too pink. I absolutely love the name of this nail polish and the formula is great. This color is great when you have a tan (which I don't have) but I am saying that this is a nice, summer color for any skin tones. This is worth trying out so go check it out! :)
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - HIP Jelly Balm [DISCONTINUED]
sammycansing01 6/10/2011 9:09:00 PM
I was lucky enough to find this jelly balm that I have be looking for! I got it for half the original price which was $9. They only had two different shades left and I chose Plush. This shade is a moisturizing, hot pink and makes my lips feel good. But, after thirty minutes, it dries out and I am no longer moisturized on the lips. I will not buy this again considering it is going to be discontinued.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner
sammycansing01 6/8/2011 7:10:00 PM
I have been looking for an eyeliner that would make a perfect straight line and this one does exactly that. This was $6 which was a good buy and I love how little and compact it is. It fit right into my wristlet so if I need to fix something, I can pop it out. This liquid eyeliner has a felt tip that's perfect for that straight line. I apply it along my upper lash line and I always add a little wing to the outer corner of my eye. I love how you can control how thin/thick you want the line to be. I will definitely repurchase this product for its great quality and features.
I love this product! THe scent is so nice, beachy, and warm. It does a good job staying on my skin throughout the day. This will be a repurchase.
Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
sammycansing01 6/4/2011 6:26:00 PM
I have been trying out different face scrubs to determine which scrub helps with my pores, blemishes, and blackheads. So far, this one has been the best. This scrub has a nice apricot scent which I adore. The feel of it when you apply it to the face i rough but not rough enough to irritate the skin. When I first used this and rinsed it off, my skin felt so soft and smooth. This scrub is supposed to help control the amount of blemishes and blackheads you get. I wish this could take my big blackheads out but at least they will be less noticeable. This product was only $3! I was shocked about that and I'm happy it is that price. I will definitely repurchase this product because it helps my face look better.
When it comes to curly, beachy waves, this is one of my products that I use. I use this gel on dry hair because it doesn't work on my wet hair. I scrunch until I get the look I desire. It doesn't look super dupery curly but it does add extra curls and waviness to my hair.
Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Perfect Point Plus Eyeliners
sammycansing01 6/1/2011 7:48:00 PM
I heard some good things about this eyeliner and decided to try it out. I got the one in Black Onyx and this product is great for lining the upper and lower lash lines. It says it is water-resisent (waterproof) but I have watery eyes and it disappears very quickly. But, if I put my NYX eye pencil over it, it stays for a longer period of time. I also like how you can self-sharpen it. I will repurchase this when I finish it because it gives a great effect to my eyes.
This is my HG concealer for under eye circles. I have a major problem when it comes to those dark bags and this covers most of it. The name of this concealer is just too cute and the packaging is in a squeezable tube. I'm in the shade light and it is a little bit darker than me because I'm very pale but it is easy to blend out. I absolutely love this concealer and it is also pretty cheap, at the price of 6 dollars! I'm very happy I bought this and I will repurchase this product when I'm done with mine at home.
Bronzers -Rimmel - Natural Bronzer - 22 Sun Bronze
sammycansing01 5/19/2011 9:18:00 PM
This is my favorite bronzer by far! For $4, you get a lot of product and a tinted glow on the face. I love how there is a sun on it which makes it unique and it gives me the perfect glow. I would definitely splurge on something like this, especially since it is four dollars.
THis is my first cream blush and I wanted to buy a drugstore cream blush first just to try it out and see if I like it. I chose this one because there was a lot of good reviews and it was only $6.99. When I first applied this on, it was really pigmented. I applied too much because I didn't know how much pigmentation it had. Once I got the hang of it, this blush gave me a pretty, pinky glow to my cheeks. It also looked like an airbrush finish. I love this cream blush and will definitely make a repurchase of this blush again!
Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray
sammycansing01 5/17/2011 7:35:00 PM
I heard great things about this heat protectant spray so I stopped by at Ulta today to buy it. I used it before I straightened my hair today to give me shine and of course, protection! First, the spray smelled amazing! Second, the packaging is cool:) Third, it gives me that shine and protection I wanted. When I go for vacation to Florida, I will bring this with to protect me from those UV rays from the burning sun.
Hair Styling Tools -Conair - Infiniti You Curl No Clamp Curling Iron
sammycansing01 5/15/2011 5:24:00 PM
This curling iron is the best one I have ever had. I have one with a clamp by Remington? and I was getting sick of the clamp. Once I heard about this curling iron, I was lucky enough to buy it for $23 instead of $40! This works wonderfully and I can't wait to discover different looks with the wand! :D
Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Matte in Smoked Peach 013
sammycansing01 5/15/2011 5:20:00 PM
This lipstick was in the Seventeen issue with Emma Roberts and I decided to give it a shot. This lipstick is more orange than peach. It dries my lips but gives a nice colorful tint to it. It's perfect for spring and summer. I will not purchase this again because of the wrong color or dryness.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Illuminance Creme Shadow Quad - Not Just Nudes
sammycansing01 5/15/2011 5:19:00 PM
This creme shadow quad is worth my six dollars. These shadows are a nice, neutral shadow and are nice as an eyeshadow base/primer. You can create many looks with this palette. This is worth the money.
