I really like these lipsticks. The colors aren't too bad (you can find at least one HG in the range of choices) and the price is right. You can't go wrong at $1. What I like to do is buy a bunch of these and melt them into a palette for easy mixing and matching. My favorite colors are Buff and Cameo.
I like this product. Use it for my eyelids only on days when I don't feel like wearing eye shadow. I blend on the eyelid with my ring finger to lighten up the whole area. I have fair skin, so it works for me, even thought I'm far from yellow-toned. As a base, I haven't used it so I couldn't tell you how it works in that regard.
Got this on sale, half off, but I would purchase at full price. I really love this product. I often get mascara smudged on my eyelid when I am trying to brush out the clumps. Instead of trying to wipe it off, I can just dot this on, and it's gone instantly. After each use I swipe it on the back of my hand to clean on the residue, and it's good to go for the next mistake. The only gripe I have with this product is the packaging. It's much to hard to take the cap off.
Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish - #502A - Dark Pink Frost

I really like this lipstick. The formula is nice. It goes on smooth, and is creamy and does not dry your lips at all. I colors in the collection are decent. Most are pretty sheer, with little pigment, but you can layer a bit to get more color payoff. As for #502A in particular, I really like this color. On my lip, it shows up as a darker pink (cool toned) with a gold shimmer. It's actually quite pretty and I'll be keeping this one around. The staying power is decent, and to me, it's worth the <$1.
I have this in two seperate colors. A pink and a red. The red is gorgeous against my skin tone and has great coverage and staying power. They are creamy and glide on easily but are not greasy. I pretty much always add a gloss on top to give it a shiny look. Really love these pencils, and for $2-4 they are WELL worth it. I plan on collecting several more colors. The only thing that bothers me about these pencils, is that they dont put the number or color on the pencil itself, just the plastic wrap, so I never know which "number" I'm using and could have a problem with that in the future when I want to rebuy.
I really love the brush. Its a great mascara for mornings when I'm in a hurry and I can't use my regular mascara and brush out clumps with my ELF eyelash wand. The brush really don't define and seperate well, but the formula itself doesn't lengthen very much (but that's not a huge problem as I have naturall long lashes anyhow).
I really love my shadestick in Beige-ing. It's the only shadestick I have, but I frequently use as an all over color for a very neutral color that provides a bit of shimmer. Great for under the brow bone. I don't often use it as a primer/base as I already use UDPP, but I will occasionally put it on over UDPP. This shadestick has lots of staying power and doesn't crease on me. The only probably I have with it, is it tugs a bit when applying. I will probably have to start heating it with a blow dryer to loosen it, but it definately tugs my eyelid.
Love this product so much. It is very warm toned (and I am cool toned) so I can only wear a few colors, but I love the colors that I can wear, and its great for everyday neutral wear. There is NO creasing and the staying power is pretty nice. The shadows are also very blendable, smooth and highly pigmented for the price. I'm really happy with this purchase and will continue to wear, and will continue to buy Wet n' Wild products.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

I love this balm. It is my new favorite and I carry it around with my everywhere. It is very moisturizing and smells great. I DO think it has a tint. If you apply the balm to your bottom lip only, you can clearly see a light red tint on your lip. But I love that tint. It looks like a healthy flush.
For reference: PPP, cool toned, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, very pimented lips I received this as a gift for Xmas this past year. I love it. The packaging is only so so (kind of tacky) but I don't really mind too much. I love that I can try every lip color without having to buy each one sepearately, and I really get to know how each color looks on me in different lights and settings. I actually ended up buying Viva Glam V as I loved the color so much. It's also great to have six because I'm able to mix and match a little which is pretty much my favorite thing to do. If you have a chance to get this palette now or in the future, I highly rec, especially if youre interested in the VG collection.
For reference: PPP, cool toned, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes I bought this after using it most frequently from the Viva Glam 6 lip palette that came out during Xmas. Although I like all the colors, this is by far my favorite. This is a great nude, and has a little bit of shimmer in it. The SA associate at MAC had me try on the lipglass, but I wasn't that fond of it. Like it, but didn't deliver the way the lipstick does. This color is really great as an everday color and I wear it quite frequently. The tube is great (I am obsessed with lipstick tubes and I love this one) with a splash of red, and what's great is that all $14 go to the fight against AIDS. I'm all about it.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Shine City
robynlc 4/2/2007 1:15:00 AM
I have become addicted to Super Lutrous l/g. I now how it in three colors, and I'm slowly building my collection. Shine City looks like a very very light pink in the tube, but goes on clear. The consistency is wonderful. Not overly thick or sticky, and still has pretty great staying power. This is a great gloss to go over lip pencils or lipsticks that you want to add extra shine too. Also great alone (I personally love the color of my lips) and really accents perfectly with just a little bit of shimmer. Highly recommend as your clear gloss.
This is my new HG lipstick. Louise is a gorgeous color, and works wonders on my PPP, NW 15-20, cool toned skin. The lipstick goes on very smoothly and doesn't dry at all. It's not incredibely pigmented, but it's not very sheer either. I will definately be purchasing more of these lipsticks just because the formula is great, but I can tell you already that Louise is going to be gracing my lips almost daily. Love the tube it comes in as well.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
robynlc 3/18/2007 1:42:00 AM
I am in love with this product. I just swipe some on my crease and blend with my fingers into the rest of my eye area. It turns ANY eyeshadow into a more pigmented and crease-free product. I took a shower last night and washed my face in the shower. When I came out, half my eye shadow was still on! I had to remove it with an eye makeup remover for it to all come off. This stuff is amazing and I will never be able to go without it.
Pressed Powders -Laura Mercier - Pressed Setting Powder - Translucent
robynlc 3/13/2007 8:32:00 PM
Will never use any other powder again. I am obsessed. It goes on completely clear for me (I am PPP) and I don't reapply at all during the day. I use a power puff to able and gently press it on. It's one of my favorite products and I love that I'm not adding another color to my skin.
