Fragrances -Fragonard - Secret Absolu

This is part of the aromatherapy line that Fragonard offers on their website. Secret Absolu is actually supposed to be their "relaxing" scent. I find the composition of this scent to be kind of strange. A base of pure lavender, with notes of ylang-ylang, sandalwood, jasmin, vetiver, mandarin orange, petitgrain, bergamot, bitter orange and a hint of vanilla and ginger to alleviate what could have been an overly cloying floral . The note which I find most interesting is the ginger which lends a black licorice aroma to the overall body of the fragrance. Smells really gross out of the bottle, but actually mellows out to become an interesting spicy lavender.

This is still my springtime staple. I love the green scent of ivy, grass and honeysuckles... it makes me think of a freshly mown lawn! I don't think I'll ever tire of this scent!

Lips -Chanel - Lip Blush in Lucifer Kissed

Definitely the only red lip color that I will ever wear! The color is a beautiful brick-red w/slight brownish undertones... it looks divine against my asian skin. The formula is extremly long wearing and has an almost powdery/matte feel which doesn't dry out your lips. The compact is truly a small luxury, but is typical of what I have come to expect when buying Chanel products! Love love love it!

Moisturizers -Kinerase - Kinerase Cream

Kinerase is a Godsend! I swear by this cream and would testify in court against my husband if I had to defend my judgement! No other cream in the world has helped ease the dry patches of eczema that I had started getting on my temples. I have tried everything, including the world famous La Mer cream... to no avail! Everything just made my eczema flair up even more. Kinerase actually soothed my irritated skin and helped to quell my rash! *UPDATE* I have discovered something even better for my dry skin, and I plan on staying faithful to my new product. Sorry Kinerase... it was fun while it lasted!

Lip Treatments -Estee Lauder - Clearly Citron Smoothing Lip Balm SPF 15

This lip balm is not available in the States so I had to buy it via a pal in Canada. This is definitely not a favorite of mine. It goes on smoothly enough, but doesn't last very long and isn't very moisturizing. Tastes somewhat like saccharin, but I like the taste of saccharin (Don't tell my mom, but I used to love to eat my pancakes w/heaps of Sweet & Low piled on top!). The packaging for this balm is way cool... it is a clear plastic case with a metal body embedded into it. The top is somewhat iridescent and there is a mirror inside. It's just to darned bad that the packaging will not be enough to make me want to buy it again!

Fragrances -Robert Piguet Fragrances - Bandit

O.K. So I'm not a very big fan of "smoky" fragrances... sue me! This one actually made my eyes water, but I decided to give it another chance and guess what?!? I think it actually earned another lippie since I can see where the sex appeal in this fragrance comes from. This miraculous epiphany is still not enough to make me want to buy it though.

Fragrances -Terra Nova - Bamboo Rain

A lovely take on Terra Nova's traditional Rain scent. Bamboo Rain weaves peony with mandarin & lily over a base of sheer musk, ginseng and white birch. The scent is very long lasting and wears beautifully. A nice summer scent.

Lip Treatments -Good Home Company - Seriously soft lip balm

I am also a huge lip balm junkie and found this one to be quite plain and forgetable! Good thing I bought it on sale for $2.50, instead of the regular price of $5.00 or $6.00. I think I'll be sticking to my current fave Inara.

Nice feel, but the scent & taste is not the best. If you like the taste of cortisone, than this is the lip balm for you. Packaging was cute enough to earn the extra lippie.

This color is absolutely lovely! It is a very earthy berry color that wears beautifully! The smell of figs is out of this world! This is definitely one of my favorite lipsticks along w/the Copper color! Pair it with the Estee Lauder Automatic Lip Pencil in Terra and you're all set!

At last!!!!! A lipstick & lipliner combination that I love! The lipstick is so wonderful! It is a matte formulation that doesn't dry out your pucker and lasts forever! This is well worth the 20+ dollars that I've spent on it! I definitely plan to buy again!

This is my current fave! I just recently kicked my Annick Goutal addiction when I sprayed a bit of Cielo on my wrist! I intend to wear this one through summer, autumn, winter and onto NEXT spring!

Hate this with a passion!!! Every time I get a whiff of this I think of bug spray... very pricey bug spray!!! Stay away from this... if you want the original scent which J-lo herself knocked off... try TerraNova Rain Perfume Essence (She used to buy this in bulk from one of their stores.) and TerraNova's scent is tons cheaper.
