Hair Color -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme

I have been using Excellence for years, and I wouldn't use any other hair color brand. I've used various shades of blonde over the years, and have had great results and very little damage with consistent conditioning aftercare. I have strayed to other brands (Nice n Easy, Natural Instincts, Revlon) and have regretted them and come back to L'Oreal. There is a reason why they have been famous for hair color for over a hundred years - because they nailed it! I always get compliments on my hair, no one ever believes that I do it myself at home! I use Excellence #9 Light Natural Blonde.

Conditioner -L'Oreal - VIVE PRO Nutri Gloss Med-Long hair DAMAGED

Impressed! I used to use L'Oreal Vives when they first came out (cream bottle, orange cap!) and they were really good then. I tried the newer formulas awhile ago and they left my hair dry and difficult to detangle. I gave this another shot and it is very similar to their old vive formulas....easy to detangle, left my hair soft and very shiny....and I've been coloring for 20 years! Definite good drug store buy.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic: Clean Definition

I'm actually impressed with this one! I've used the original Telescopic, and had issues with it due to the brush. This brush is MUCH better than the original, and the formula is great too! Defines well, adds some volume, and no flakes or smudges. A nice addition to my makeup bag and will repurchase! You can swipe once and look natural or build it up with multiple coats for separated volume. No irritation with this either, this is a keeper!

Treatments -Biosilk - Silk Therapy

This product has made such a difference in my hair. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way with this product. Leaves my hair soft and silky, and I no longer have to use spray-in leave-in conditioners now, which I had been using for years. This is great and worth spending the money!

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Damage Care

I was shocked with this product! I remember using some Suave products and having my hair completely dry out. I have mid length bleach blonde hair and I tangle easily and have damage from coloring. This didn't strip my hair and left it pretty soft. I will have to try the conditioner as well. Considering I'm trying to cut my spending on products, this is a good buy for the price!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

This is a pretty good powder. True color match to my skin, finely milled, and decent staying power. Doesn't break me out either and controls oil pretty well. Keeper!!

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara

I was amazed with the look I got from this mascara....full, separated lashes. However, the smell was horrible and lingered all day.....surprised it had a very "chemical" smell to it, considering the formula is supposed to be organic. I did have some smudging and flaking at the end of the day. If the smell wasn't so overpowering, I would consider repurchasing this. I wouldn't say I would never buy it again, but it wouldn't be on the top of my list either.

These are great eyeshadows. The colors are gorgeous, the lasting power is great, and no irritation whatsoever, and they go on smoothly. Good product, highly recommend!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Liquid Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Formula

I'm pretty happy with this one! I have been using the Neutrogena bar soap for 20 years now. Because they melt so easy I've always kept my soapdish in the freezer to stretch it's lasting power. My local Wal-mart was out of the bar soap completely and I desperately needed something to clean my face, I can't use my body bar or I'll break out. I grabbed this figuring what the heck. It lathers slightly thicker than my bar soap, but works almost identical. I like the pump dispenser, and I don't have to keep this one in the freezer to keep it from melting! Will repurchase!

Styling Products -TRESemme - Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray

I have tried many, many hairsprays over the years - mist, flexible hold, conditioning, you name it. This is hands down best hairspray out there. I didn't expect it to be since it was so cheap at Wal-mart. I was using an Aussie aerosol spray before this, but hated that it left my hair cruncy and stiff. This leaves hair soft, holds the volume and style and stays! I'm converted from now on!

This is a great staple neutral color in my makeup bag. And how can you beat .99 each?? Nice pink/brown/peach shimmer that goes with everything! I love NYC lipsticks and WetnWild ones. Great quality at a steal!

Conditioner -TRESemme - Vitamin B12 & Gelatin Anti-Breakage

I was very pleased with this conditioner! I have used some TRESsemme products in the past, and they only dried out my hair so I didn't think twice about repurchasing them. I happened to see this in Walmart and decided to give it a try, since I am trying to downscale my beauty supply spending, and this was only around $3 for a huge bottle. I have baby fine long blonde hair that tangles easily. This detangled very well, and left my hair pretty soft. Pleasantly surprised and will be repurchasing!

Fragrances -Coty - Dark Vanilla

Another good drug store classic. This is definitely a "dark" very culty sensual vanilla scent, nothing innocent at all. Stays on my skin all day, and I always get compliments when I wear it.

Fragrances -Coty - Sand & Sable

Ah, good old Sand & Sable....I used to wear this many years ago when I was 18 or 19, and it brings back memories of that time in my life everytime I smell it. Has a wonderful beachy/sexy smell. Although I am not particular to floral scents, the florals that are in this are sexy not powdery or overpowering like some floral scents. I go back to it now and then, it is a classic scent in my fragrance collection.

Fragrances -Coty - Wild Musk

LOVE, LOVE this stuff!!!! I recently purchased a bottle of it at Wal-mart. I have used Bonne Bell's Skin Musk, and figured this would be just as nice. I have to say, I like it better than Skin Musk!! I love musky and oriental scents, I was never a floral person. This fits the bill (and doesn't kill my wallet!) and actually stays on my skin all day. It wears much better than some of the more expensive department store perfumes I have purchased in the past. Has become a daily fragrance for me. I cannot tell you how many comments I receive when I wear this!
