Concealers -L'Oreal - Magic Lumi
rated 2 of 5

This is marketed as a concealer on the packaging, it's not. In terms of highlighting, it doesn't do much,it just blends into my skin and disappears. I think I accidently bought this instead of the maybelline lumi. Do not bother getting this one, does nothing.

Concealers -Bare Escentuals - Well-Rested For Eyes
rated 2 of 5
pinkbrush 3/10/2012 2:54:00 AM

This gave me milia under my eyes, would not recommend it and another product that I fell into the hype and it wasn't worth it.I used it overtop of concealer for a few days, it was okay I guess, then I got these awful zit-like things under my eyes (in the "bag" area). I have never ever broken out around my eyes, so I am sure this product well rested did it. I wonder how long it will take for this to go away. Returned this product immediately.

Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer - Hydrating
rated 1 of 5
pinkbrush 3/9/2012 10:20:00 PM

I had such high hopes for this, reading the awesome reviews that it gets. I received this in the mail today and it seems like just water. I poured a bit on the back of my hand and it just oozed water. I shook it like a mad woman (I understand that products separate and it might just have done that) and it's still just water. The stuff oozes down my hand, how would I ever use this on my face? Clearly I got a bad one,but this is definitely going back.

Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume
rated 1 of 5
pinkbrush 2/14/2012 2:29:00 AM

One of the worst mascaras I've ever used, this does not add volume, maybe some length. The formula is very wet and the wand is hard to work with, the ball on the end does nothing b/c it just gets filled up with product. Do not waste your money on this.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #116 Blush Brush
rated 2 of 5
pinkbrush 1/29/2012 1:24:00 AM

I remember a time when MAC brushes were the highly coveted brushes. I waited forever to get this, thinking that my drugstore brushes, sigma, ecotools, posh, gosh etc would replace this blush brush, but I caved one day recently and bought it. It was $41 CAD, brought it home and noticed how pokey on my face it was, definitely not as soft as I imagined. This one went right back. I gotta say my Sigma dupe is softer and nicer, that is my honest opinion.

Liquid -Chanel - Perfection Lumiere
rated 2 of 5
pinkbrush 1/17/2012 2:04:00 AM

I bought this right away as I was so excited about a new Chanel foundation. I had previously used vitalumiere and pro lumiere (and since vitalumiere aqua too) and loved them all. Perfection Lumiere was touted to replace Pro, but oddly enough it's NOTHING like that one. This is a nightmare on dry skin and for whatever reason it oxidizes like crazy, which I have never had a problem with until now. I wear the lightest shade and within 30 minutes the colour changes dramatically.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
rated 4 of 5
pinkbrush 7/22/2011 9:48:00 AM

Love this product, although it's not meant to be an everyday moisturizer because it does not moisturize, it's more of a drink for your skin, feels hydrating on your skin initially and then does nothing for the rest of the day. I love this, like I said, but can't justify the hefty price plus it's non-performance type of quality. My drugstore "dupe" is the garnier moisture rescue gel.

Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Airbrush-Effect Dry Mist BODY
rated 2 of 5
pinkbrush 7/1/2011 2:40:00 PM

I have this in medium, I like the colour, I like that it's a mist BUT... it takes forever to dry, takes overnight to process, spots all over and clings to areas more than others. Would not repurchase.

Lovely colour, but not a fan of the lump formulation, agree with the reviewers below me.

Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream
rated 5 of 5
pinkbrush 5/26/2011 2:17:00 AM

I am on my second package of this. I love the consistency and how it feels cooling on the skin. I have dry skin and it's not particularly moisturizer, but it feel so nice on the skin and makes for a nice base for makeup. Totally would re-purchase this.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer- Smashing Color Adjust
rated 2 of 5
pinkbrush 5/1/2011 4:39:00 AM

definitely would not re-purchase, it does a very minimal job on correcting redness. I think this has a much higher rating than it should since people are rating the product on it's primer properties (which are good) and not on the purchase that this particular one is meant for, for correcting redness! It made my skin look maybe 10% less red, nothing major and definitely not worthy of the high cost.

Blush -Hard Candy - Fox in A Box - Skinny Dipping
rated 4 of 5
pinkbrush 4/8/2011 12:14:00 PM

I love this, the blush that I wanted most from the Fox in a Box range. They are a bit powdery, but pigmentation is still good and they are cheap. Great product.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF15
rated 4 of 5
pinkbrush 4/7/2011 2:12:00 AM

I think I speak for all the pale-skinned girls out there, when I say.. Clinique we love your foundations BUT they are never light enough for us! I always wear the lightest shade in Clinique foundations and they are always a tad too dark, too pink, too ompa loompa etc. This isn't a bad tinted moisturizer, it's great for my dry skin. Although judging by the name I was expecting more of a gel-texture like the cream, but it feels like any other foundation to me. Coverage is decent for a tinted moisturizer, but I will not repurchase.

Foundations -Rimmel - Clean Finish
rated 4 of 5
pinkbrush 4/6/2011 8:55:00 PM

Great drugstore foundation, one of the best that I've tried. I use 120 Ivory and it's a nice match for NC15, coverage is light-medium, best part is the spatula that comes in the bottle, it's a nice different applicator, I wish more foundations had it.

Treatments (Eye) -Olay - Regenerist Eye Touch of Concealer
rated 3 of 5
pinkbrush 2/27/2011 1:24:00 AM

I got a sample of this in the brandsampler (if you are from canada, you know what I am talking about) proctor and gamble puts these out every so often. I was really happy to see this included in there. Love the packaging and a little goes a long way. It doesn't conceal very well and the colour is too dark for me (I am nc15) but it doubles up as a moisturizer for under the eyes and adds some colour to your dark circles. I wouldn't buy the full size, but will keep using this as the sample is fairly big.
