Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner

I like this color a lot (I have blackberry ) and I've recently fallen in love with Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner in Bourbon given how much thicker their color selection is, but b/c this is just light enough I apply a thin line to my lower lid just under my lashes - just a real light line - and it looks like I have a lot more lashes rather then eyeliner on. I really like it! Doesn't smudge on my super oily lids!

This is very calming to the red splotches on my skin. Very soothing, soaks in easily yet still very hydrating, non-greasy, doesn't break me out, no fragrance and a little goes a long way! I finally found my HG moisturizer for nighttime! :) ***update 3/3/09*** This is still great! Has really helped clear up my skin, love the smell and so hydrating!

Misc Beauty Tools -Talika - Heated Eyelash Curler
rated 4 of 5

This worked really well for me. Always curled my lashes and I never burnt myself with it. It was pretty expensive though. I think it was about $30 when I bought it a few years ago? Well anyway it lasted me a while but it broke this year and I didn't want to pay the price again so I went to Ulta and they have one just like it exactly, but it's got pink inplace of the blue of the Talika one. This was only $10 - heats up way faster than the other one. (one minute compaired to 3-4) and doesn't eat up the battery power like the talika one (I'd have to change the batteries every couple weeks). I like this one from Ulta much better!

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

Loveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have really oily skin with annoying blackheads and I also have acne that usually comes in 'clusters' with a few stragglers here and there. There is a small cluster right under my left eye at the edge of my cheek bone that for years I have not been able to make go away. Every couple weeks I could weed something out of that pore but no matter what it was always inflamed. Well I bought the Clarisonic a few days ago and already there is only one pore left that you can see is still inflamed, but it is 2 sizes smaller than what it was. All the other ones around it are gone. I have had a cluster of zits on my forehead (sorry I know this is gross) that have been pretty big, and have just been sitting there (ya know the kind that are big, but have no whitehead, no nothing, they just sit there) yeah those. Well I have had them for three weeks, I got a haircut recently and my bangs sit there, well they are now practically gone! It's like they are slowly just being smoothed away. All the 'lone island' blemishes I did have immediately have turned into whitehead like bumps. They aren't pink even, it's like the pores are just saying "Yay! We finally have the ability to get this junk out!". And for the rest of the acne story I have just had a lot of black heads, which are disappearing very fast. Recently I would just rinse my face off and could feel them, all dry and flaky, and just in the past 48 hours my skin feels 5x smoother. IMO this is the best thing that has ever happened to my skin! I really look forward to my shower more than ever now, it's like I get my own spa-facial session every night. It's great! And I deserve it. And so do YOU! And my skin is always glowing when I get out of the shower. I would pay the money for this again & again. Yeah $195 isn't something you can normally just pull out of your wallet. But I look at it this way... think about all the products you spend in just a few months or even if it's over the course of the year - ask yourself "are they that effective?" and then even if they are - how quickly do you find yourself going back to get more - to fork out that same dough in only a few months?!? You don't care how much it costs right? You know it works so you gotta have it - and you WILL pay over and over b/c you love it that much. Well that what Clarisonic is like for me. If this was $500 I would've still paid for it, and I bet I'm not the only one who would either after reading these reviews. :) As for what a miracle this thing has been for me so far, IMO I think you can't put a price tag on something like this. Set aside $50/week for a month and this sucker is sold! Or ask for it as a gift. But you have nothing to lose with trying this, as you get your money back if you don't like. I have the pink one and I got it at Sephora. It caught my eye and I immediately asked the SA about it, turns out she used it, and her skin was very nice, she doesn't even wear foundation (yep I checked), and then I come to find that my friend I came to Sephora with had it as well! I couldn't believe she didn't tell me she had it! I have seen some people comment that those with cystic acne may not benefit from this well let me tell you -- my friend (yes the one who didn't tell me she bought this) has cystic acne on her chin and her skin is always smashing. I didn't even know she had cystic acne until she told me that day. She only uses it once a day too - on the minute setting. And don't push too hard! Just let it touch your skin and go from there :) I will come back & write an update and I am certain I won't be disappointed. I've never been so excited about something this wonderful! Each day my skin becomes even better than the day before!!! There is a reason this was voted "Best of Sephora 2008". ***Update 3/2/09**** My skin just keeps getting better! This past week I was on my period and I didn't have any breakouts - for the first time in my whole life I honestly didn't have any nasty zits. Just the occasional blackheads like normal, but there wasn't an increase in them either even for that time of the month. My blackheads are practically gone on my lower cheeks/jaw line. I will never stop using this amazing brush. Thank you clarisonic!!!!

Creamy & very long-lasting! No smearing! Goes on so smooth. I can't wait to try all the other colors. The first 30 seconds you can play with it, but after that it's set! Will buy again & again. HG eyeliner.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

I'm just starting to try Urban Decay as they don't experiment on animals and they have some gorgeous colors! My eyelids are perhaps the oiliest ever made, and this product works extremely well! To get the best results really try to avoid applying eye cream on your upper lids in the morning (hey let's face it, moisturizing is a necessity so it's hard! lol) and make sure you apply the potion from lashline to brow (oil is sneaky!!) and I always apply a little bit on my lower lid to help keep my eyeliner in place. I will buy this over and over again. I love UDPP!

Another great product from BE!! These colors are gorgeous! I played around a bit before I finally found my color - Gabby @ Ulta. I love the light cooling sensation and my lips are already pretty filled out but I'm sure this helps somewhat. This does not hurt my lips at all, no stinging, and the colors lasts. They have sheer glosses and full color glosses, the sheer ones are more sparkly though. Gabby is one of their sheer sparkly colors.

This really irritates my skin, and not very moisturzing - only thing I changed in my skin scare regimen! Ick. Returned. I am glad it works for others though!

1) Gorgeous colors 2) go on very easily 3) Hardly crease on me! 4) Don't need to apply 5) They'll last forever I got a great deal on Ebay, but even if I didn't; I'd pay the full price to buy them all over again! These are one more reason why I love BE so much. You should try them!

Shampoo -Nexxus - Therappe Shampoo

***Update*** Still phenominal!! I will NEVER stop using this!!!!!!!! I LOVE it! ***10/28/08***I really like this shampoo, it makes my hair very soft (but not too soft to where it won't style) and it smells great!! I only need a little bit. I noticed some reviews on here said it doesn't lather well for them but it has never been that way for me... Their 'Diametress' is supposed to be their volumizing shampoo but honestly that made my hair look like greasy stringy ick. Now, their 'therappe' shampoo is supposed to be moisturizing, which it is, but for me, it's also very volumizing. I always get incredible lather with it... I wonder if they mixed up the labels between the two shampoos?!?! Now granted I have short hair, but still when my hair was long it always lathered very well with very little of this.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I had high hopes for this since it is oil free. This was not very moisturizing on my skin, perhaps better in the summer? My advice: Don't expect moisturizing benefits in the winter. Will return :(

Mascara -100 Percent Pure - Fruit Pigmented ultra lengthening mascara
rated 5 of 5
pink_rosies 1/30/2009 11:51:00 PM

This is one of the most wonderful things you can do for your lashes. This can only be sold from QVC so go ahead and check it out! You will see the reviews and how much others loved this. I was skeptical too at first but it really has made me grow more lashes and they are so long now I can't believe it. They don't fall out like they used to (set aside from the normal hair rotation we all must deal with) and the tube smells soooo good. I could eat this stuff. Yeah go ahead and laugh, but when you get a tube and smell it you message me! I have this in black berry (which is a dark purple mauve). It still looks mostly black from a distance but every so often you can tell it's a different color than tradition mascara colors. I will buy this forever & ever. QVC sells 2 at a time. Try it!!!! You won't regret it as you are doing something wonderful for your lashes!!!!

I must be the odd one out but this made me break out the worst I ever have. I really had high hopes as I've heard it's great for exfoliating... but I had so many zits on my face I could've displayed the starship Nebula. And ontop of that it took me 2 weeks to get rid of them! NEVER AGAIN!

Skincare - Face -Mary Kay - Mary Kay Oil Mattifier

Honestly----this stuff is amazing at controlling oil. My skin is great for atleast 6-7 hours. The only reason I won't buy it again is b/c it scares the crap out of me as to how it smells which makes me wonder what type of **** I'm putting on my skin. I might used it again for extreme situations like an outdoor wedding on a really hot day but not for everyday. I'm really trying to do better with more natural products.
