This is the first time I am giving a product 5 lippies. This is the perfect lipstick for me. I love the color that I got (Sierra) which is a warm, subtle red. It goes on very smoothly and stays on for a while. This is the best matte lipstick I have used.
Eye Primer -NYX - HD High Definition Eyeshadow Base

This goes on very smooth and keeps my eyeshadow in place for a while. It is comparable in quality to the Too faced primer, but costs 1/3 of the price.
Edit: I originally gave this a good review after swatching the colors on my hand but changed my mind about it I after actually trying to wear it. I have medium-olive skin. Even the darkest shades didn't show up on my skin, despite trying them on with two different primers (NYX and Too Faced) and lots and lots of layering. Also, the colors flake A LOT when you go on there with a brush. The blushes are pretty, but also don't show up well. I have another NYX palette (Nude on Nude) and that too suffers from similar problems. Neither palette is comparable in quality to NYX trios. It is a shame because this palette has especially beautiful colors.
Good pencil that gets the job done and stays on. The color selection is impressive.
It goes on smoothly and has decent staying power. But the smell is awful and I didn't like the packaging at all -- the sponge comes out of a compartment in the bottom and the top screws on and off. There is no mirror. It might work better for someone with normal to dry skin (I have combination skin.)
Liquid -Boots - No7 Intelligent Balance Foundation Mousse

I got this in Almond, which is the darkest shade they have. It was extremely yellow and chalky. I didn't leave it on long enough to experience the oil control and ended up returning it.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Line Intensifique Extreme Wear Liquid Liner

I like the felt brush and find it easy to use. The liner stays on for a long time yet comes off easily with a liquid cleanser. The brown shade is close to a true brown, which I appreciate as most browns out there tend to be too black. However, there doesn't seem to be much product in the bottle and the tip of the brush dries off quickly so you need to keep dipping and shaking the bottle repeatedly during each application. I would recommend Physician's Formula if you use it in black or are OK with a very dark brown.
Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum

This is a great liquid liner that is very easy to use. It is pigmented and consistent in color (unlike some liquid-pen liners that can be very watery). It dries quickly and stays on till you take it off, but comes off very easily with a foaming cleanser. I find it comparable to Stila liner. The only complaint I have is that the brown shade is very dark and way more black than I would like. It is definitely one of the best liquid liners out there if you are looking for black or a very dark brown.
I got this in Buff which was the darkest color available and it was way too light for my medium-olive skin. I also found the finish slightly chalky. The packaging is kind of weird. The concealer comes out in a blob way too close to the bottom of the brush, so you can't really use the brush at all. You kind of need to take the concealer off of the brush with your finger to apply it.
I use this in the morning to cleanse the oil on my skin without drying it too much and it works well for that purpose. I use a different one in the evening to take off my makeup and cleanse more thoroughly. This product is not for excessively oily skin or for getting off makeup but would work well for dry/sensitive skin.
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)
pelini 9/18/2012 12:29:00 AM
I alternate between this and Olay cleanser. It is a decent cleanser that will leave your skin feeling clean, but not too dry. It does a good job of getting off makeup for the most part.
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30
pelini 9/18/2012 12:28:00 AM
I bought this for a matte day time moisturizer/sunscreen. It is not mattifying at all, it is a standard sunscreen. And no matter how careful I was, it would manage to get in my eye and burn a lot which doesn't happen at all with my other sunscreens. I finished the bottle but am not buying again.
Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin
pelini 9/18/2012 12:22:00 AM
This is a decent foundation for oily skin if you want light to medium coverage. It evens out your skin tone. Most liquid foundations make my t-zone extremely oily within less than an hour whereas this one keeps me oil free for about as long as a powder (which is 3-4 hours.) It has a lot of staying power. The bottle and the smell leave a little to be desired. The color range looks broad at first but most of the colors are too pink or too yellow. I found that caramel works well on me when I am tanned but I haven't found a shade for winter.
This was recommended to me by a girl who worked at Sephora. I found that it didn't really complement my warm undertones and I eventually grew to dislike the excessive sparkle.
Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
pelini 9/18/2012 12:13:00 AM
I got this in Turks & Caicos, mostly for the blush. The color wasn't at all what I expected from the images on the website -- it is a very dusty mauve-pink with a lot of sparkle. The quality is OK but not great. It feels slightly chalky as opposed to silky. The packaging is nice though.
