Loose Powders -Clinique - Gentle Light powder [DISCONTINUED]

Really wanted to love this since it was the first loose powder i bought. I have oily skin and this was not a good choice since it accentuated the shine and i didn't really like the sparkle in natural daylight. I looked like a disco ball after i applied this and it seemed to wear off really quickly as well. Dissapointing

BAD BAD BAD! I dont have much high expectations for eyeliner but this one was so bad that i had to write a review. I actually loved it when i first applied it because of the fine brush which gives really great control and precision. However after i put this on and started to move onto applying eyeshadow, the eyeliner flaked off in a complete section like it was made of plastic! Ive tried it many times after and the same thing keeps happening. I realy dont recommend this at all and I dont know how the reviewers below have used this.

Mascara -Max Factor - Masterpiece Mascara

I love this mascara. I never thought this would work for me but i was desperate for a mascara and was in a rush so i stopped by in a priceline and purchased this. I never thought in a million years this would be good, but it was! The mascara seperates and lengthens wonderfully and the texture is smooth and even unlike most other mascaras that usually start to flake after the 2nd coat. The texture also stays the same for the whole day and there are never any little black dots and specks that come off during the day. Masterpiece is my second most fav mascara, the first being Ere Perez natural almond mascara. But I wear this everyday now since it is so much easier to remove, comes straight off in the shower. This has got to be the best non-natural mascara I have used and I constantly think that this is a high end mascara in a drug store brand's body! The quality is just incomparable. :) UPDATE: I have just bought a second tube of this stuff (amazing considering I never buy anything twice unless its HG) and it is still absolutely amazing...not flaking, clumps, glides on just beautiful!

Self Tanners -Coppertone - Sudden Tan

Oh my goodness!!! I can not believe this..its 12:30 at night and I just ran out of the shower to write this review. I have looked high and low for a fake tan that works. Nothing is ever right...not the right colour...flakey....streakey...too much effort. This summer I said to my self well if nothing works then i'm just going to have to kill my skin and get a real tan. YES that is how desperate I am to get the right tan. Well i have used this product a lllloooonnnng time ago. And i remember it being really orange, liquidy and gross...it was in fact the first tanner i bought. And just today my friend had a full bottle that she didn't want (she works in a beauty clinic) and i thought what the heck i'll just take it and of course not expecting anything great...throw it out later. BUT!!! It is the BEST!!!! Gives instant great great great GREAT colour....a beautiful warm brown..no orange at all and the best part is you can see the colour go straight on but it also self tans after you apply. I can't believe how great this is...the texture of the cream is just so beautiful too...i'm in love and i'm sOOOO happy I have found the best tan ever!!!! I can't wait for summer now....I wish i could kiss someone right now!! :)

Powder -GloMinerals - GloPressed Base

Love this powder!!!. When i got it a week ago i really loved it...fantastic finish that other powders just dont give. It is the only make up that made me feel like i wasn't wearing any at all. I found that by applying with the accompanied sponge, application was great. However to my dissapointment, i broke the packaging along with the entire content 4 days after. Now the powder i have left i'm using as a loose and it is so much trickier and messier. But overall i love the simplicity of this powder and its beautiful coverage. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to last very long probably around 4 hrs and I have to reaaply. I will update on this when i wear it more.

I can't believe all the bad reviews about this product!! I've been searching for a blemish concealer for like ever and I'm still shocked that this brand makes such a good blemish concealer. Its just perfect from its precision and ability to cover (unlike most other concealers where i need a brush in order to preven ugly tell tale signs around the pimple) as well as colour and packaging. I was so scared that I would buy yet again another concealer that I would add to my collection of 500 billion at the bottom of the drawer but I was so wrong, the colour is just perfect! I purchased the medium which has a yellow tone and I would say that most gals would prefer this one rather than the light since it had a pink base. Dont hesitate to buy this especially if you can return it..you wont regret ur decision! :)

Lip Gloss -Etude - Fruits Tube

I love this gloss its my absolute favourite! The colour is fantastic sheer but noticable and the texture is smooth. Its not too sticky either. The only negative is that my tube split...but i'm a big clutz everything dies on me. Even still five lippies for this :)

Mascara -Tweezerman - Fast Lash

I dont know y this wont work for me!! :( I'm so sad..ive tried all sorts of techniques and all i get in the end are lashes that are crusty and clogged looking even after i use the lash comb a billion times. I wish it worked...maybe if anyone has suggestions it would be awesome.

I found this mascara to be cloggy and flakey. The brush was the only good part since it made my lashes feel soft and full, however for the price the results simply don't match up.

A hopeless product that did nothing but accentuate the lines around my eyes. Its far too light to be a concealer other than an undereye one. Did not like the glowing finish since it highlighted my flaws rather than hide them.

I have this duo eyeshadow in black and pale pale purple. I actually obtained this while overseas so i'm not sure if they sell this particular pair in other countries. I absolutely love this and its always in my makeupbag. I use it everday as a softer alternative to eyeliner. The compact also comes with a mini tapered eyeshadow brush which is actually realli good quality. Ive had this for over a year now and its still going strong. Will definately rebuy!

A big waste of money realli...I dont think it does anything...dont know what to do with it. It looks too obvious on me and brings out fine lines under my eyes..and i'm only young!!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Volume Shocking Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

I actually bought this just for the base and I have to say i'm really surprised that its so good! The price was half of Shiseido's mascara base which i love but is just soooo expensive (it is the best base out there btw....curl, length, volume). I think i'll be sticking to this one from now on cuz it delivers great results especially in length and seperation and for half the price :) My only complaint is that i have to apply this then curl my lashes otherwise the curl wouldn't hold ( i use a heated eyelash curler). If anybody has stick straight lashes these heat curlers are the BEST, cuz if u use a base and then curl ur lashes and apply mascara over it the curl actually stays!! So as a base this mascara is good but as for the actually coloured mascara with the comb...I have no comment...u'd think it was designed by apes. **UPDATE** I have since then figured how to use this mascara!!! And it works great!..REally big huge lashes!! its a miracle cuz i've hated comb mascaras ever since i bought the rimmel one. This is the technique i use which transforms this mascara from dud to wow...First i apply the base ( i apply a few layers since it is hard to stick to lashes) then i curl my lashes using a heated eyelash curler. Surprisingly the base is still there after heat is applied. Next i seperate my lashes using a lash comb (this is crucial). I then take out the mascara and wipe the applicator comb on a tissue to get rid of the excess. After this i slowly run the comb through my lashes. At this point u might find that ur lashes stick together...dont panic...use the lash comb again and seperate ur lashes. Repeat this process until the desired length and thickness is reached. I have to say i'm so impressed with this mascara i'm speechless...one extra lippie!!

Masks -Dermalogica - anti-bac cooling masque

Cooling and soothing my butt!!! This mask made my sensitive skin inflamed and red!! It hurt and stung so much i slathered on moisturiser to help cool it down. I tried it the first time and thought it was my inflamed and irritated skin that made this mask sting so much but I tried it again today while my skin was completely fine and it stung so much i almost cried!!! Stay away if you have sensitive skin. The labelling and description of this mask is totally misleading. Very dissapointed and annoyed that my skin is still red and will probably react to it overnight :(

I couldn't believe that this worked on me!!! I'm forever trying to look darker and nothing seems to work because it just looks yellow or red or just fake. I tried this cuz i had some time to kill and when i applied it to my cheeks as blush it actually looked like i was darker, in an healthy way. The last bronzer i bought was Georgio Armani sheer bronzer in #1 and although i liked it when the sales assistant applied it, I just cant make it work now since it just makes me look muddy and red...like brick face...haha. I'm pretty pale with yellow undertones just for reference and this bronzer is golden bronzey orange....yes i said orange...i know it sounds dangerous but just try it for your self and you might be surprised. Just dont apply it all over your face..you dont want to look like a carrot.
