My HG setting powder for my oily, large pored acne prone skin! I have used so many powders it is not even funny! My Nieces come over on a monthly basis to take advantage of my failed products since they have pretty much perfect skin and anything works well on them. Not so for me, but this product, even though it is a chalky white powder in the container, when finely dusted over my foundation (I also use the primer/eraser by Pure Luxe) it stops oil in it's tracks, and makes my skin look airbrushed, which is not an easy task! A touch up in the afternoon, and my foundation lasts all day, for the first time ever! They have very generous samples, fast shipping and you really have nothing to loose by trying this if you have oily skin or large pores. It is amazing!

Mascara -Max Factor - Lash Perfection Volume Couture [DISCONTINUED]

My HG mascara! I have blonde lashes, so let me assure you mascara is the one thing I am never without! This mascara lasts all day, goes on smoothly and makes me look like I am wearing false lashes! I had someone ask me the other day if I had false lashes on, and I laughed out loud! I do not have particularly long lashes, I am pretty sure I did not even curl them that day, but this mascara is all that and a box of cookies! I was glad to see it recognized by Allure, it deserved it!

I have oily skin with very large pores, and this is the only product I have found that gives me a smooth finish to my foundation. It feels thicker than other primers I have tried and it fills up the pore potholes, and my foundation glides right over it. I have tried Smashbox, Ulta, Revlon, Sally Hansen/Carmindy, Avon etc, etc, and this is the only one that works this well, stays all day and does not break out my acne prone skin. Highly recommended!

Lip Liners -Jordana - Easyliner for Lips in Rock n' Rose

Very pretty neutral pink, goes with anything, stays well and is dirt cheap! I have every color they offer and ove them all! Find them at Walgreens at the makeup counter. Perform as well as,if not better than my Lorac liner, at a fraction of the price.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

I have oily skin, and my eyeshadow is always creased by mid morning. I have tried several different primers and none of them held up, but after I read the reviews for this one, I went straight out and bought it, and will never again be without it! Simply fantastic! I went out the other night, stayed up past my bedtime :) and ended up falling asleep with my makeup on (I know..gasp! The horror!) and when I woke up in the morning and wandered into the bathroom, I stood and stared, stunned! My eyeshadow looked like I had just put it on! I also have never been able to wear cream shadows because they slid off as soon as I put them on, one hour max! I can now wear them all day without even a crease with Primer Potion. I have not found many products I would consider HG quality, but this is one product I will never be without! HG for sure!

Conditioner -Sunsilk - Anti-Flat

My hair must just be the odd one out, but I actually think this is my HG conditioner, at least when used with the anti-flat shampoo and style creme (I have not used it outside of the product line, I bought them together, and have not been tempted to try it with anything else) . I was surprised at the reviews, rather universally panned it seems, but for my shoulder length fine wavy hair, it left it bouncy and full with a lot of shine. The smell was not the best, but was not bad either, just neutral on that, but for my hair, this has been an amazing product, and I will repurchase.

Shampoo -Sunsilk - Anti-Flat

Huh! I was surprised to see the reviews on this line of AntiFlat products. I bought this at Big Lots for $2.50, along with the conditioner and the matching styling creme without any real expectations, but I think I have found my HG hair care line. I had three strangers compliment me on my hair the first day I used the products! I have shoulder length fine layered hair, wavy, so I can easily end up with that awful poof of frizzy hair, but after blowdrying alone I could have left the house, and that has NEVER happened! My hair had shine, bounce, curl retention (hot rollers, just like I do every day) and great silky texture all day long. I will be going back to buy up the rest of the stock, at that price and these results, I am thrilled!

Styling Products -Sunsilk - Anti-Flat

I have fine long layered hair, and bought this on a whim at Big Lots for $2.50. I was not expecting much because my bathroom counter is where all lying volumizing products come to die ;) , but I loved this. My hair had bounce shine and swing all day long and felt like silk. After thousands of dollars invested in finding my HG hair product, I have found it in a thrift store. I do not know whether to cheer or bang my head on a wall!
