This mascara is just alright. There are much cheaper products out there that perform much better. Still, I don't hate it. It has a very wet formula, which I do like. It doesn't make my lashes a mess, but they don't look fabulous, either.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils in Burgundy (5)

This is a devine mascara formula, it builds up beautiful lashes. I have this in black as well as the burgundy. I was hoping for the color to be more aparent on my lashes (darker at the base, lighter as the tips). You really can't tell my lashes are burgundy unless in very specific, direct sunlight. Still, my lashes look very defined, just without the "harshness" of black. When paried with a red/plum liner, the color pulls a little more true to tube.
Treatments -Frederic Fekkai - Protein RX Anti-Breakage Treatment Mask

I received a sample of this in a recent Ulta order. It included the Shampoo, Conditioner and this Mask. This entire line did not work for my hair. I was expecting great results, but my hair actually felt gross after using each product. I let the mask sit in my hair for about 5 minutes while in the shower. My hair did not feel smooth or soft, and upon styling my wet hair (scrunching) it felt sort of gummy. My curls looked dried out after my hair air dryed. I would not purchase this mask or the other products in this line.
Powder -MAC - Pro Pastel Studio Fix - Shivering White

Applied lightly with a brush as a finishing powder for a natural look on my very fair skin, or used with a sponge for stark white theatrical makeup, this is a great product. It can get somewhat cakey if applied too heavily when trying to achieve a natural look, so I need to have a very light hand, especially because this stuff is WHITE and pigmented. I've had this for years and it lasts and lasts.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter

This doesn't seem to be agreeing with my lips. When first applied, my lips feel like they're "buzzing". About 5 days into wearing this as my go to lip balm, my lips started getting little red bumps. (Similar to what happened when I used Jack Black Mint balm) I stopped use, and went back to the Beeswax Balm and my lips have gone back to normal. This was part of the 4 for $10 pack, which is a great deal, but I don't think I'm going to be able to use this one up. Also, this doesn't last very long and I found myself reapplying frequently. Not to mention, I noticed raised bumps on the balm itself after applying it for the first time, like it was an exfoliating or textured balm. I haven't read about this being part of the balm, so I'm wondering if mine went bad and that's why I'm reacting to it? The Mango smell is also a but...rotten. Like a melon that's sat out too long.
This definately has bite to it. My skin is very sensitive, and I feel a bit more than a tingle when I use this toner, but it has not deterred me from using it every other night. Despite the slight burning feeling upon application, this does not aggrivate my skin or burn it chemically in any way. I've been using this for about 2 months, and while it hasn't completely gotten rid of my acne and clogged pores, I've noticed a big calm down from the cystic (hormonal) acne I was getting when I started using this. This says "do not apply to erupted acne", but I find it actually *helps* with that. The one down side, I'm surprised with how quickly I'm going through the bottle only using it every other night. I squirt some onto a cotten pad and apply it all over my face after cleaning, and before moisturizing.
I've been using this as my A.M. face wash since the middle of March. This product is everything I wanted MAC's Green Gel Cleanser to be. The consistancy of this gel like cleanser is absolutely devine. It's cushiony and soothing, a total joy to massage onto the face. My skin is very sensitive and acne prone, and this cleanser has not irritated my skin at all. It washes away clean, leaving no residue or tight feeling behind and leaves me skin looking brighter and glowing. This hasn't completely gotten rid of my acne (hormonal) but I did notice a big calm down from the awful cystic break outs I was getting in March/April. If you're on the fence about this, try a sample! They are very generous with the sample sizes they give out on the website.
This is my HG strong hold hair gel. I have long hair with natural curl to it that needs lots of product to look maintained and not just like a giant beast. This does the trick! I layer this on top of a thinner gel with more slip when I scrunch my hair, and then add very small amounts on the days I don't wash my hair to refresh it. I love how this smells (like men's cologne) and how it feels in my hair. A little pricey for what I like spending on hair products, but I find it for around $9 at Harmon. If I apply *just* this, I find the hold to be a little too heavy for my hair.
The brush on the new bottles (pictured in the second picture above) is just way too big for my nails. It leaves alot of polish pooled up in my cuticles and needs lots of clean up. Aside from that, these applies creamy and opaque for such a cheap polish.
This nail polish lasts longer on me than any other nail polish in my collection. Most polishes chip on me between 1-3 days of wear. This also applies like a dream. I got this in the Illamasqua Mystery Box and I am *very* interested in trying out other colors. Amazing quality. Goes on opaque and smooth in 1 coat. Lasts and lasts and LASTS on my toes. Very springy color.
I have this in Set in Stones. This is like liquid bling for your nails! I *always* receive compliments on my manicure when I wear this polish. Like others have commented, the only downfall is getting the glitter off. Even with a base coat, the glitter tends to adhear to the nail and you really have to put in some elbow grease to get it all off. Still, this is such a beautiful, glamourous, glitter! I'm interested in the other colors.
Lips -Urban Decay - Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color ALL SHADES

These go on beautifully. Creamy, pigmented and with lots of shine. I wish these were longer lasting/wore better for longer, because they really are so gorgeous. Within 3 hours my lips feel and look dryer and the color starts to flake/gather a bit.
BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

I got a sample of this in "Light". I can't even do a proper review because this turned a horrifying shade or orangey tan when I tested it on the back of my hand. It also smelled like plastic. If your skin is fair, forget about it.
I wore this for a long time before I ventured into the world of higher end foundations (and eventually tinted moisturizers and bb creams). My skin was much clearear at the time, and I definately could have gone without such a full coverage foundation, but this really worked great for me. The lightest shade worked well for my *very* pale skin and this stuff lasted like iron even through my oil. Overall, I think this is a great drugstore foundation and I would be open to trying this again.
I am so smitten with these lipsticks. With hundreds of high end lip products in my stash, I *may* possibley love these more. They are creamy, pigmented, and feel great on my lips. The finish is smooth without slipping and bleeding out of the lip line and these last great on my lips. I've done individual reviews for the shades I purchased, but overall, my one complaint is that these are not as true to color as I would have liked. I don't mean they're sheer, I mean they pull more pink than the color in the tube. Still, I love them. Drugstore lipsticks are really coming a long way.
