Moisturizers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

I bought this on a recommendation from Dr. Baumann's The Skin Type Solution. When I tried it it burned and turned me red. I think it was the fragrance. Why would Aveeno put such a strong fragrance in a moisturizer marketed to calm skin?
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel

This is my HG primer. I used Supermatte Anti-Shine before, but it didn't last all day, maybe only 7 or 8 hours. The Monostat keeps my makeup on almost the whole day-12 or 13 hours. Amazing!
This foundation is light enough for me but it doesn't cover like Revlon ColorStay with SoftFlex for Normal/Dry skin, my HG. Also, it didn't beak me out even though it contains mineral oil. I ended up giving this to my sister. The lightest shade is pale enough for PPPs.
Tinted Moisturizer -Kiss My Face - Tinted Moisturizer [DISCONTINUED]

I was really glad when I found this stuff-no parabens, fragrance, animal testing, and has sunscreen! Unfortunately this really emphasizes dry skin flakes, so was constantly exfoliating when I was using this, and It was really hard to blend. The lightest shade (I forget the name) is perfect for the palest of pale skintones like mine. This stuff just isn't for me, though.
Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser

This stuff stung my face and turned me red. Don't use a foaming cleanser on sensitive skin! I'm gong to stick to my Eucerin Redness Relief Calming Cleanser.
Moisturizers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Soothing Night Creme

This, like the Daily Perfecting Lotion, gave me whiteheads. Bleh. Not for Oily skintypes. It didn't even reduce my facial redness.
Moisturizers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Perfecting Lotion with spf 15

This stuff gave me whiteheads like I have never had before. They were gigantic. This comes in a glass bottle in a pump which I loved, but that's about all I can say about this product that is good. I guess it also has an ok sunscreen. Other than that, this was a disaster for my skin.
Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Anastasia Brow Gel
mightymcownage 8/25/2009 8:11:00 PM
This is my HG brow product. I am a strawberry blond with blond eyebrows, and the Auburn shade is perfect for me. This product is superior to brow pencils because pencils just fill in the skin behind the brow and not the brow itself. This gel colors my eyebrows themselves and looks really natural. I've tried this in Blonde, but it looks strange on me to have red hair, blonde brows and brown eyelashes (from mascara). This lasts all day but has a tendency to dry up a in about a year. You can still use it, it's just drier than it used to be.
Cleansers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser

This cleanser doesn't make me less red, but it's soothing and fragrance and soap free. It just a basic cleanser for me, and it takes off my makeup which is a plus. 4 lippies because it doesn't do what the bottle promises.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Combination Skin Moisture Oil Free
mightymcownage 8/25/2009 7:57:00 PM
This is my favorite moisturizer. It moisturizes my oily t-zone and combo cheeks. I love that it's fragrance free and oil free. If anybody reading this has read The Skin Type Solution, I'm an OSNT.
Using this daily made my pores smaller and my skin less red. I am very pale so every bit of redness shows. This stuff takes almost all of the red away (I'm not very red though, just mildly or noticeably red). I live in a dry climate and this is very moisturizing. Just be sure that you don't put on a lot. I use just enough to cover my face. Any more and I break out. HG! Update: This ended up breaking me out. A lot. I've switched to Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel, something that also has niacinamide but is better suited for oily/combo skin.
Cleansers -Good Skin - All Calm Cleanser - green bottle

I really wanted to like this cleanser. I bought it based on a recommendation from a person on the Skin Type Solutions OSNT forum. After using it for a few days, it made me break out big time. It has a nice consistency, a kind of watery cream, and it's fragrance free, but something in it gave me zits. I'm going to stick to my Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser.
HG! This is the perfect nude lip color. It's a pinky nude great for PPPs. It's very moisturizing and long lasting. I bought this at a wal-mart a few months ago but I haven't been able to find it so I can buy a backup. Love it! Update: this oxidized to a gross orange color. Buy Elf's mineral lipstick in Natural Nymph instead!
This is too orangey for a person as pale as I am. The product itself is pretty nice, it lasts a long time, conceals redness and it hid dry areas on my face well. I didn't break out from this at all. It does contain talc and mica but they didn't bother me, even though my skin is sensitive. It doesn't have sunscreen but I wear some under my makeup anyway. My only complaint is the color. I tried putting it on with different brushes because I heard that this can go on a different color depending on the brush you use. None of them made me less orange, really. If this weren't so dark it would be HG for me. it's worth the price if you buy it by itself because the container is about the size of a MAC MSF.
