I received this in a swap and am glad I did!. It's the perfect natural flush on my fair skin tone and great for everyday minimal looks. the texture of the cream is quite greasy/sticky but I don't mind as I have dry skin. It fades after 4-5 hours but it's very quick to reapply. Will use it until it's gone!

Mascara -GOSH - Supreme high speed Volume

All round acceptable mascara for natural daytime use. It gave length and volumised my lashes without clumping for 2 months and didn't irritate or smudge. It was also fine to remove at the end of the day. It didn't give a really dramatic effect, but just a boost for natural looks. I'd repurchase again for everyday use.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I caved and bought this following all the rave reviews. It's a gorgeous palette; such wearable colours and the texture of the shadows are even better than the UD singles I own, so creamy and easy to blend. The colour selection is just perfect. The price is also fantastic for the amount of product plus a BRILLIANT dual eyeliner (applies easily and lasts all day) The only negatives for me is the amount of shimmer they contain. I would definitely prefer more matte textures or demi mattes in the palette. I also think the packaging, although pretty...I expect that soft velvet material is going to get grubby over time.

Skincare -Neal's Yard - Wild Rose Beauty Balm

I have been using this product for my night moisturising face/eye balm and lip balm. It is wonderful, it seems very expensive but a tiny amount goes a very long way. The winter in Denmark means I need a serious moisturiser and this is it, but it's not waxy or heavy on the face and it absobs quicky into the skin. I love the smell too, rosehip oil...so not a sweet rose scent, but more of an earthy/herbal rose fragrance. If anything, I would recommend buying this and splitting with a friend, as you'll never use it all up before the expiry date.

Lips -Burt's Bees - Lip Shimmer - Watermelon

OMG I love this shimmer balm!. It gives immediate relief to dry lips, really moisturising and the colour is so pretty, a simple my lips but better shade. The peppermint isn't too strong (but the levels of peppermint oil in these can vary according to batch). It gives such a nice subtle colour to the lips and I can put this on in the car without a mirror, just brilliant!. A winter without Burts Bees would be unimaginable now...will repurchase as a staple.

Scrubs -Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant

I really wanted this to be great. I have dry sensitive skin and needed a gentle but effective exfoliator. I bought this because of all the rave reviews. At first I was amazed; it work better than anything else I had ever tried and my foundation went on so much better than before. After a month however, I noticed by skin was still in need of exfoliating. With daily use, my skin is still dry and getting drier. The more I use it, the more I seem to need it. I don't remember ever having such flaky skin. On the positive side there is no feeling of irritation or redness with the product. This may not work for all skin types. I can certainly say it wasn't the HG product for me, so I wouldn't re-purchase. I also think it is massively overpriced for what you get.

Lip Gloss -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Crystal Gloss - Light Copper

A great pinky nude gloss with a pretty copper shimmer. Applies smoothly, lasts on the lips but not overly sticky and no drying effect. The only negative is the perfume scent, but it disappears once on the lips.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub

OMG not for use on the face, for anyone with sensitive skin especially. It contains huge grains that would be best used on knees and elbows, not the delicate skin on the face. It can never compete with a chemical exfoliant, but for the price it is a good product for the body. It smells ok, slightly medicinal.

Polishes -Boots - No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour

I have 2 of these polishes; Betty Blues and a dark burgundy shade. I love Betty Blues - it's a gorgeous creamy blue/black and is totally opaque after 2 applications. The deep burgundy is another story, I love the colour but it goes on very streaky and take ages to dry. This makes me think there may be a consistency issue as regards quality with some of the shades. After a year, the consistency of these polishes is still good.

Mascara -Becca - Ultimate Mascara

I loved this mascara while it lasted. It gave natural soft looking lashes with a lovely sheen. Removal simply with warm water couldn't have been easier for sensitive eyes. The smell was also good (no tarmac road odour) and the packaging felt luxurious. After 2 months it dried up unfortunately and started to clump and leave fallout after a few hours. I would have liked if the formula had remained stable for longer. At that price I was unhappy to have to throw it out, full of dried product.

Lotions/ Creams -Korres - Quince Body Butter

I have this in the 50ml tube...much better than the pump dispenser option in my opinion (easier to control, doesn't get stuck). This is a very rich body cream, much like Bliss or L'occitane creams. It is highly fragranced on application, but it fades gently so I've never become sick of the scent. The quince body butter smells like fruit jam (well the quince fruit is used to make jam!). If you enjoy strong, sweet fragrances you will love this. The thicker consistency of the product really goes a long way and moisturises beautifully, especially during winter months. The 'natural products' label is a bit misleading, but at least the ingredients list do not read like a science experiment.

Lipstick -Clinique - Long Last - Blushing Nude

An acceptable nude lipstick, not long lasting as the name suggests. Also I found it drying on the lips. The colour is quite natural, but I prefer sheerer or pinkier nudes for my skin tone (NW15 /Ivory). The lid also came loose and no longer clicked into place almost immediately after purchase.

Polishes -Barry M - Nail Paint in Mint Green 304

Great colour, extremely vibrant without looking tacky. Polish doesn't chip, it lasts on the nails for 4-5 days BUT this colour will stain your nails horribly without a base coat. The polish also went thick on me after 6 months

A beautiful peachy pink with shimmer. Looks like Nars orgasm for the lips. I don't find it be moisturising,( but then what lipstick really is). It lasts quite a while on the lips, unlike the Rouge volupte formula. It does exaggerate the lines in my lips, but is fine if I use a lip balm or gloss on top. The only thing I'm not crazy with is the scent, it's smells alcoholic to me with perfumey overtones. I wouldn't buy this product again because of the price.

Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser

A no frills cleanser that doesn't irritate sensitive skin. I bought this because I couldn't get my usual ultra Comforting cleansing milk by L'occitane (which I love). Removes make up (I only wear a minimal amount most days) and leaves the skin without any residue or without drying it out. I still prefer my L'occitane cleanser as it leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturised, but it is still better than the Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser, which doesn't remove makeup so well.
