This product will help reduce the redness of stretch marks but will never completely diminish them. Yes this product does work but it requires commitment and patience. Stretch marks are not something you can fix overnight however this product will provide some relief for new red stretch marks. In my honest opinion vitamin e oil is just as effective and more versatile to have around the house but I guess that's a matter of opinion.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

This is a great everyday cleanser for girls with sensitive skin. It is gentle yet still removes your make up and leaves your face feeling clean and not tight like some cleansers do. I also love the fact that it's pretty much fragrance free. Packaging isn't the prettiest and the pump is pretty inconvenient to travel with, however they do a travel one with a proper lid too. Havign worked in a chemist for 5 years this is a brand I trust and would always be happy to recommend to anyone.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I wish I had tried this mascara earlier! This is my new HG mascara. Previously I have been addicted to anything Maybeline particularly volume express but this takes the cake for an inexpensive mascara. First impressions: oh my the brush looks scary, especially with that rubber brush! Don't let it put you off. The rubber brush makes for perfect application and beautiful separated, fanned lashes. The formula is amazing! Finally something that isn't waterproof that doesn't rub off after some exercise but doesn't take half a kilo of makeup remover to take off. This mascara builds beautifully, I normally wait a minute or two between a number of coats and I always get a great result. I naturally have long lashes but lately I have been getting a tone of people asking me which mascara I use. If you want lashes with dramatic lashes this is your mascara!

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

This concealer is currently a staple in my make-up bag. It has great coverage and staying power while still giving a natural look. Also very reasonably priced for a concealer that lasts for months. I only need to buy one every 12 months and I wear make-up every day! Con: Sometimes hard to spread particularly in the colder months. Definitely needs a primer or something to make application easier. Other than that this is a great product.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Fuchsia Fever

The perfect Barbie pink lipstick! I am a blonde so it's easy for pink lipsticks to look awful and cheap but this one looks great. It's lovely and creamy while still going on bright, I usually pop a little gloss over the top because I love a little shine. I always get compliments when I wear this! It's my go to lipstick when I want to look a little girly or brighten a dull outfit. It's not the most perfect packaging, but for the price we really shouldn't complain!

Liquid -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Serum Absolute Advanced Age-Reversing Makeup

This is a really nice mid-range foundation. Good coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. Provides a lovely matte finish which is perfect for every day make-up. Leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. Staying power isn’t great but still wouldn’t stop me from buying this again.

A great little kit! This is everything you need to create beautifully shaped brows and highlight the eyes. I am a dark blonde but opted for medium/dark as I like a more dramatic brow. This product is so easy to use, looks fantastic, stays all day. I love that it gives my eyes a real ‘pick me up’ when I use the highlighter. The girls at benefit are also fantastic! They sat me down and found what I was after straight away and even gave me a professional ‘eye brow tutorial’ so I knew what I was doing.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

This is my favourite mascara. Builds lash’s to create volume and length. Doesn’t smudge, flake or fade away during the day. Prior to this I used the regular volume express and this is a step up to create a more dramatic look. Tip: Walk away for 30-40 seconds between coats for the best results.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner

This is the one make-up product I never change because it’s always a winner. I have tried pretty much every liquid liner from cheap to the far too expensive and I always come back to this. Why? It’s easy to apply, well pigmented and has excellent staying powder. This product is always in my make-up bag.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

This is such a beautiful palette! Gorgeous natural colours which can be used for a day time or night time look. There are also a number of very helpful tutorials on youtube which are a great way to learn beautiful way’s to use this palette. Definitely recommend this!

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

For such pricey mascara I don’t think it’s worth the money. The mascara was very runny making my eyelashes stick together. Even when I waited between coats I couldn’t seem to build much length and volume. Yes it’s Dior, the packaging is beautiful and it does smell lovely. But the important thing to me is that the product does what it claims, for me this does not live up to its expectations. Looks like I will stick with my trusty Maybelline!

Concealers -Rimmel - Match Perfection Concealer

This is a great product and does exactly what it claims to do. Perfectly covers dark circles while highlighting the eyes, helping to take away attention from any imperfections. The applicator is also really handy and easy to use. The only negatives I have for this product is it stays quite moist under your eyes which can make your mascara rub off making unattractive black splodges under the eyes. I find sweeping a light layer of powder fixes this problem but unfortunately takes away that lovely glow. Still a good product for the price you pay!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter

I love this product! Initially I bought one colour, loved it so much I went back and bought 4 more! They are lovely and moisturising while providing a pop of colour. They are the perfect in between for lip gloss, lipstick and lip balm. I find it's much of a natural look which is great for work. The new must have in my handbag! Definitely recommend!

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear

I have been a loyal user of Estee Lauder Double Wear for 3 years now. I try other foundations but I tend to keep coming back to this one. This foundation provides full, flawless coverage. It is great for people with acne prone or oily skin as it doesn’t become shiny, even after hours at the gym. The product goes a long way. I only need a new one every six months and I wear make-up every day. I do still use a concealer and a powder to set, of you already have pretty good skin you probably wouldn’t need to. Their colour selection is good and the Estee Lauder ladies are normally really helpful. They even give you a generous tube to trial! I would definitely recommend this for a full flawless coverage!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared

Not that impressed! I LOVE Maybelline and think they have the best mascara’s out of any brand. Unfortunately this mascara does not live up to their normally high standard. I bought this mascara on the Friday and used in Saturday morning only to find it felt like it was 3 month old already! Dry flaky and kept clumping my eye lashes’ together. The original falsies is definitely still the best from this range. I will definitely keep buying Maybelline just not this product.
