Makeup Brushes -NARS - Retractable Lip Brush 11
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:59:00 AM
im sure most retractable lip brushes are the same. i only have this one and sephora and they're only a little bit different. this one has a smaller, stiffer head than the sephora one. it's bristles are also a light color. i really only got this to match my nars lip lacquers because i love them so much, but im sure any brush would do.

Makeup Brushes -NARS - Loose Powder 01
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:57:00 AM
don't think i'd need to ever repurchase this in the near future. i was able to get it brand new off ebay for almost half the price. the handle isn't as long as most powder brushes, but it's so great that i don't even care. it's not a super big, fluffy head, but it is really soft. i don't have an actual loose powder to use it with, but with my pressed powder it works just as well. love the chubby handle of it too=)

Makeup Brushes -NARS - Brow Brush 05
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:55:00 AM
love this brush to pieces. i had swapped it away before because of the long handle, but now that my collection is all long handles now, i had to repurchase it. the best brow brush out there. i've tried so many brow products it's not even funny. the head of the brush is waaay smaller than that of bobbi brown, and also smaller than smashbox & sephora. if you don't have a lot of brows left, this is perfect. it helps me fill in after using a pencil, perfect amount of . . hardness. the bristles aren't dark, but it's not a big deal when the brush is so good.

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #11 Concealer Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:52:00 AM
before using this one, i had the mac concealer brush and the prescriptives one. compared to those two, this one is way softer. it works good for the little scars on my face. i use it with my studio stick concealer and it picks up just the right amount of color. a really good purchase if you were to buy it (i was lucky to have swapped for it=)).

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #5 All Over Eye Shadow Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:49:00 AM
wouldn't need to buy another one of these becaused i think it'd last quite awhile! but it's a great all over color brush. try not to pick up too much color though because it could get streaky (it did on me anyways). very soft brush and i love the long stila handles=)

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #7 Crease Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:48:00 AM
i don't think i'd need to buy another one of these because it seems like it would last a long time! but it's my 3rd crease brush, had sephora's and the one in the mac holiday sets, this is the best one out of those. it has a small super soft head that fits into my crease perfectly and does a really good job. love the long black stila handles. now i want them all!

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #13 One Step Eyeliner Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:34:00 AM
got this as a part of the stila star set. the only brush in it that didn't work for me=T tried it a couple times with my smudgepot, but it was just the wrong shape for my eyes (too flat and much to big to get in between my lashes). kinda on the stiffer side. would get mac 266 if you like a softer brush.

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #1 Blush Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:29:00 AM
i actually don't own this product, but i did see it at the store. thought i wanted it because it was stila so it had to be good. it was actually a really stiff brush. my origins one is way softer, even the mac 129. wouldn't buy it=T

i don't think i'd need to buy these products again because im sure they'll last me a long time. really wanted the set because i didn't own a paintcan yet. this makes my first one=) finally have a place to put my brushes. all of the brushes were great, but the eyeliner was just a bit too flat for me=T would buy another set like this one if it came with different brushes=)

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:14:00 AM
love love love. i got this in black and it's just the best. so much value for the money. the tube is huge and so is the brush inside of it. i use it with shiseido's mascara base and the results are just amazing for me. i don't know why i waited so long to get it. try it out if you have really short, thin lashes. i hope you love it too!

Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:12:00 AM
had to buy one of these for myself after trying out my sisters. it's way better than the bourjois primer they have in those 2 sided ones. that's because it's a darker shade rather than white, so it's less obvious if you miss a spot with your mascara. it actually holds the curl too! what more can a girl with no lashes say! definately grab this, even if it is full price, works like a charm. it even makes drugstore mascara look good=)

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Juice in Glory
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:09:00 AM
got this when it first came out and have been loving it ever since. it's my "back-up" gloss in my purse for when i forget to bring the one i put in the morning. one of the more pigmented of the CJs if you asked me. super shimmery and smells so good! love it. loved this one more than the other two it was introduced with, much more MLBB. buy it again in a minute.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #190 Foundation Brush
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:07:00 AM
love mac a just started to get into their brushes (the individual ones, the holiday sets just didn't work for me). i know this is for foundation, but i just haven't been using liquids lately. i did try it today with my stila convertible color though. worked great for that! picks up a bunch of color and helped me spread it out some. if you are going to use it for that, do it reeeally lightly. seems much softer than the prescriptives foundation brush i've tried before.

i love mac and have a ton of products, just finally exploring their lipsticks (usually a lipglass kinda gal). this is a super natural color on me (GGG). just a bit pinkier mlbb shade. gotta really layer it on if you want it to be seen though. wouldn't buy it again, but might b2m it if i ever run out=)

Blush -Stila - forget me not convertible color
lilone829 10/20/2004 12:01:00 AM
i just swapped for this item and it's my very first convertible color=) i was kind of disappointed by the packaging though, thought it was more than just plastic. a bit smaller than a regular compact. this seems a lot similar to the mac ccbs but for a lot more money. it's a beautiful shade though. really have to use it lightly because it's a bit dark, even on my GGG skin. don't like it too much on it's own, but with a shimmery blush like mac margin i think it looks really good=) might have to explore into the other colors now!
