Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Last Matte Lipstick in 901B Think Pink

I bought two of these, not at the same time. The first time the lippie was too drying and it came out of the lipstick tube. The second time it was creamy and again..the lipstick came out of the tube. Though it was creamy, I felt like it did'nt apply well. I had to go over and over it. It's a lovely color..just not for me.
I wear this blush almost everyday. It looks really light in the pan but when I apply it on my skin it looks a bit peachy when it blends in with my bronzer. I feel like this blush doesn't give me that overdone look. Oh yeah for all I know it's matte..or it has VERY little shimmer in it. Which is a plus for my large pores.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

The greatest thing ever! I have oily/combo skin and I have to tell you that this it what makes my skin look flawless. I use revlon colorstay liquid foundation for oily skin, a primer underneath that, but the magic doesn't happen until I apply this on. Honestly, I bought the darkest color Honey and noticed that I got a "bad" one because I went and bought the medium beige one and the formula was smooth and worked like the one I had first tried. So if it doesn't work..try buying another one because I do believe in bad batches. My friend kept telling me about how flawless my skin looks and I tell her it's because of the powder. It sets my foundation perfectly and keeps it matte most of the day. Never does it cake on me..I did notice with the one I say I got from a "bad batch" did sorta cake on me. It's cheap and a staple for me!
This is a must have for stay at home mommies. It's easy to use and you don't have to worry about it clogging your pores. There are many pros to this.. it's cheap $5 at walmart non clogging very lightweight dries to a matte finish easy to put on very good coverage If you don't like tinted moisturizers and need more coverage, but dont want a full foundation, try this. It's super light. The lasting power is ok, just set it with a powder and you should be good.
Moisturizers -Olay - Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment

I have sensitive/combination skin and I've been looking for a smooth night cream that hydrates well. This cream is smooth to the touch and goes on smoothly, but it almost feels as if i'm putting primer on my skin. It's purple like the jar and has a very perfumy smell. ..well this irritates my skin. I find myself scratching my face at night because this cream itches my skin. I didn't breakout from this but I just found it very irritating for my sensitive skin.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Baby Daily Moisture Lotion

First off, I don't think patroletum is a problem to worry about because it's not the main ingredient. It is mostly made is allantoin which is: Allantoin is odorless, safe, non-toxic, and non-allergenic in both natural and chemically synthesized form. When sold on its own for use in homemade soaps, lotions, and bath products, allantoin is a white, crystalline powder. Allantoin is moisturizing and keratolytic, meaning that it causes keratin in the skin to soften. This property helps skin to heal more quickly and to bind moisture more effectively, making products containing allantoin useful for dry skin and for healing wounds, burns, and scars. It is also effective against sunburn, chapped lips, cold sores, diaper rash, and similar skin irritations. I believe it, my 4 month old has dry sensitive skin on his chest so the instant i rubbed this stuff on him, his skin felt so soft again. I am sure with continuous use, his skin will return back to normal since I think some of the baby soap i've been using on him has been making it dry. I tried this on my legs and hands and I LOVE IT! better yet, I rubbed this on my feet before wearing my pointed flats that cause me blisters..and my feet didn't have a problem. Definitely worth the buy.
Treatments -Ion - Color Defense - After-Color Sealing Treatment

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE COMPARING IT TO L'OREAL'S FERIA MOISTURIZING CONDITIONER! I bought this thinking it would moisturize my hair and seal in my color, but nope. It works okay with sealing in the color buy my hair still felt damaged..for $2 more, feria is worth it!
In general I don't like this product, the only thing I do like about it is the packaging! First off, the pump doesn't dispense enough, so I had to pump a while to get a good amount. Second, it almost feels just like lotion. I wear long wearing foundations and this didn't take it off, I tried it dry and wet. My face didn't feel clean aftewards. I tried to make it work, it just didn't work well. If you don't wear a lot of makeup and have dry skin, this would be great for you.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser
lesliexyang 9/12/2009 9:57:00 PM
Okay I bought this today and I came home and tried it later on throughout the day. I will start off by saying that I wear heavy duty makeup since I live in Florida and everything will melt off my face if I don't. I wear revlon's colorstay, mac's studio fluid, maybelline's superstay 24, anything long wear and eyeshadow primer. At first I was thinking, ehh..this so isn't going to work but i will try it since it's only $5. I wet my face and pumped 3 foams into my hand and started massaging my face with it. When I looked up in the mirror I was so surprised that almost all of my foundation was gone! I took 2 more pumps and massaged my eye area and face again and it was gone. I put my witch hazel on and only found a few traces of makeup, it was very very little. I am pretty impressed by this already, I use Philosphy's Purity as a makeup remover and this might be a new HG. It's only $5 and I can get it anywhere vs. having to order it from sephora since there isn't one around here. I will definitely by this again if it doesn't break me out! I always follow up any cleansers with clearasil.
Liquid -Maybelline - SuperStay Makeup - New Version
lesliexyang 9/11/2009 7:20:00 PM
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! i've been using this for maybe 2 weeks now and it is great. No breakouts or anything plus you have to remember that you must use a primer. I don't know why girls wouldn't use a primer nowadays anyways right? Well this is sorta more of a cream/liquid verses complete liquid and it is full coverage when I apply it with a stippling brush. It dries to a powdery finish verses a liquid finish like revlon's. I still love revlon, but the color classic beige in this matches my skin well! It stays on all day and I don't have a problem with it. It's like $8 at walmart, can't beat that! The only thing that sucks about this is the damn bottle. I have to tap my bottle to get the product out. UGH. Wish it had a pump!
I wouldn't buy this again because i don't think i'll ever finish it! It's a beautiful peachy gold and should be used with a light hand. I use my sonia kashuk highlighting brush to apply this over my blush or just to wear alone. this would probably compliment warm skintones, then again however you wear it, it can work! i am excited to get more MSF's!
Conditioner -L'Oreal - EverPure Moisture Conditioner
lesliexyang 7/18/2009 11:55:00 PM
This is a love or hate product and obviously i LOVE this product! I decided to try this since I couldn't make a trip to sally's. At first when applying this onto my hair in the shower I thought to myself, "damn it, they lied to me i thought it was supposed to be moisturizing!" but it wasn't until after I got out of the shower that my hair felt so soft and moisturizing. I suppose the natural ingredients in the conditioner doesn't cause it to have the conditioning feeling that other conditioners with sulfate have in it. My hair is silky and shiny after using this and I color my hair black once a month. The only downside to this is the smell, it's a little granny-ish.
I agree with the girls that have thin hair, this is not the best solution. You would probably have to put some sorta of styling product in your hair before you can get this to even look right. I have fine silky hair and this worked for my friend who has thick hair. Boohoo. I don't think it's worth $20 either. Bunch of plastic but I was tempted because of the advertisment.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Mango Mandarin Body Cream
lesliexyang 6/17/2009 7:17:00 PM
$3 for an 8oz! woohoo. This was the only fragrance besides cucumber melon that I would have chosen. The rest were too strong or too fake for me. Mango mandarin doesn't have a fake smell to me so i'm able to stand it and I love it because it makes me feel refreshed. Luckily the BX has a discount on these normally. *whew*
Bath Treatments -Bath and Body Works - For Heaven's Sake
lesliexyang 6/17/2009 7:14:00 PM
I love the way this smells. It's a light peachy scent that isn't too strong and it does start off as an oil and turns into a light foam. Don't expect it to get too bubbly though, you can still use this on a body sponge and it will foam up. It is moisturizing compared to regular body washes, but not super moisturizing. The reason why I gave this a 4 is because 1. i can stand the smell of something from BBW! 2. It has natural ingredients and real sake in it! 3. I got this for $3 at their big sale 4. it doesn't dry my skin out badly. I will not buy this for full price, probably only whenever it is on sale.
